"Ron, I need a wand!"

When they left, Harry and Ron packed their things together, thinking they wouldn't need their wands on the train, so they put them in their bags.

"It's in the bag in the back seat! Take it yourself—I'm in control of the car! Take mine out too."

At that moment, Harry remembered Julien mentioning wizard combat suits in his letter, and it seemed he really needed to get one.

Harry struggled to unbuckle his seatbelt and scrambled towards the back seat amidst the violent jolting. The moment he grasped his wand, he felt a familiar, reassuring tremor.

"Blazing flames!" he shouted, and a beam of red light shot out from the back window.

The spell missed its target by at least thirty feet and vanished into thin air.

The high-altitude air currents, the jolts of the flying car, and the mobile shooting he had never experienced before—all of these made precise spellcasting almost impossible.

"It's no use!" He climbed back into the front seat. "Can't you be a little more stable?"

"It's difficult, but I have ways to destabilize them!" Ron's eyes gleamed with a rare, almost manic glint in the Weasley family. "Hurry up!"

He yanked a yellow lever—marked “Emergency Avoidance (Do Not Touch)”.

This Ford experienced its first rollover in its life, completing a 360-degree roll in the air.

Harry felt his stomach remain at its original angle, while his body had flown to another dimension.

The pursuing riders were clearly caught off guard by this move. The closest rider didn't have time to turn around, and his broom grazed the underside of the flying motorcycle, his cloak fluttering loudly as it was torn by the airflow.

"It worked!" Ron laughed wildly. "This is called dodgeball!"

But this is only a temporary respite.

The lead rider—judging from her build, she was a woman—raised a strangely shaped short staff, the tip of which condensed into a ball of dark energy.

It wasn't any spell they'd ever seen in textbooks; the air twisted around that mass of energy, as if reality itself was being torn apart.

"What is that—" Harry's voice was drowned out by a loud bang.

The black light struck the side of the flying car. It wasn't an explosion, but some kind of eerie erosion: the metal of the car body rusted and peeled away at a visible speed, revealing the complex magical circuits beneath.

This Ford looks like a goldfish whose scales have been scraped off, its surface rusted in the sunlight.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it—" Ron pounded on the steering wheel in despair. "The car's going awry."

As if injured, the car wobbled and plummeted from the sky, only regaining control just before it crashed.

"Look ahead!" Harry shouted.

They were approaching a railway. Not an ordinary railway—it was a deep red steam train, its engine billowing white smoke, and black silhouettes could be vaguely seen through the windows.

It's the Hogwarts Express.

If they continue on their current course, they will crash into the rear of the train within thirty seconds.

Ron's face was deathly pale, but his hands were unusually steady. He jerked the steering wheel up and pressed some button (neither Ron nor the author knew).

Just as the front of the car had crashed into the rear of the train, Ron finally managed to pull the car up again.

Seeing that the car had caught up with the Hogwarts train, perhaps fearing some unforeseen event, the lead knight accelerated again, rushing forward recklessly, his broom crackling as he sped, trying to deliver another blow to the car.

But just as her wand touched the edge of the car, a golden light shot out from afar—

"In the name of the Ministry of Magic, cease fire immediately!"

Four crimson figures descended from the sky and appeared on the battlefield. Aurors.

Their wands were raised simultaneously, weaving a golden net of light in the air, enveloping the riders of unknown origin.

"Damn it!" the female rider cursed. "Retreat!"

The three brooms turned around simultaneously, arcing into the depths of the clouds and hurtling off. The Aurors immediately turned and gave chase.

Ron's Ford Anglia seemed to have exhausted its strength and was falling towards the ground again.

"Steady! Steady!" Ron frantically tried to pull the lever, but the steering wheel had become unresponsive.

Harry saw the Hogwarts Train getting closer and closer to his lower left, until it was clearly visible. He could even make out a few terrified faces in the windows.

Someone spotted them; someone was screaming.

Then, just twenty feet above the train, the car's engine let out its final groan and shut down completely.

---

Julien noticed the abnormality when the car hit the back of the train and caused a jolt.

Percy and the twins had already returned to their other cubicles, and he was sitting opposite Ginny, trying to distract her with small talk about Quidditch.

The train suddenly jolted.

"What's that—" Ginny was the first to point out the window.

Julien turned his head and saw a Ford Anglia falling from the sky.

It tumbled and flickered in the air, its stealth device working intermittently, like a dying fish struggling futilely in the sunlight.

"Oh my god, it's Harry! And Ron too!" Hermione exclaimed, covering her mouth.

"Ron!" Ginny's scream pierced his eardrums instantly.

The car was seen nose-down, plummeting straight towards the open space next to the train.

Before Julien could think, his body acted first—he sprang from his seat, smashed through the door connecting the carriages, and hurtled toward the rear of the train amidst the jolts.

Fortunately, their compartment was in the last two sections, and he instantly arrived at the lookout tower outside the rear (also called the guard car, attached to the last section).

"What are you going to do—" Hermione's voice came from behind.

He did not answer. His wand had already sprung into his hand; the silver linden wood was warm and smooth as jade, yet it was now emitting a strange tremor.

"Arresto Momentum! - Rise!"

This is a heavy object descent slowing spell, often used in emergencies and disaster relief. Its power is incomparable to that of a levitation spell.

Students will learn this spell in fifth grade, but it is not a required question on the exam; it is an optional question or an elective.

This time, Julien held his wand with both hands, the wand drawing an arc, and deep blue magical ripples appeared below the car.

The car seemed to plunge into viscous resin, and the fall slowed down visibly.

However, due to the great distance, the spell gradually dissipated, and Julien gritted his teeth, feeling the magic power within his body rapidly draining away.

Then, a second ray of light joined in.

"Get up!" The voice came from another direction on the train.

He turned his head and saw Cedric of Hufflepuff leaning out of the window of another carriage, the tip of his wand gleaming with the same light.

"Up!" This time it was a female voice, it was their Ravenclaw senior, Cho Zhang, who held the car door with one hand and pointed her other arm, which was holding her wand, straight up into the air.

Immediately afterwards, more than a dozen beams of light shot out from various parts of the Hogwarts Train. Blue or pale gold intertwined, weaving a soft net of light in the air.

The flying car crashed into the light net, and its falling speed suddenly slowed down, just like falling into water, slowly landing under invisible resistance.

When the car landed, it inevitably ended up upside down, its wheels still spinning in vain. Dust billowed up.
