meteor?

No.

It was a hand, a ghostly hand formed purely of demonic power.

The purple ghostly hand, stained crimson by blazing rage, suddenly appeared from the void, grabbing at it with a menacing, oppressive aura.

"Since it's dinner, why don't you try the dessert I brought you first?"

Suren's voice sounded unusually calm, but beneath that calmness lay a chilling coldness.

"This extra-large, bursting-with-crust meat patty..."

"Free meal!"

The enormous ghostly hand gripped the ogre's upper body tightly, slamming it violently into the ground.

The next second, a purplish-red afterimage crashed down like lightning.

"boom!!!"

The immense impact slammed the ogre's body into the ground.

The ground sank, and gravel flew everywhere.

The hard road was like shattered glass, cracks spreading wildly, and a terrifying shockwave spread outwards from the point of impact, raising dust everywhere.

A moment later, the smoke and dust gradually dissipated.

Under the flashing lights of the pickup truck, a tall, slender figure slowly straightened up in the center of the ruins.

The surrounding air was tinged with a pale purple by magic, swirling and drifting around him like mist, making him appear like a demon god descended to earth.

Patty stared blankly at the familiar silhouette.

"Hey, look how timely I am, the party's still going strong."

Suren patted off imaginary dust from his body and ground his toes into the immobilized monster.

He turned to look at Patty, who had been pushed a short distance away by the shockwave, a smile playing on his lips:

"Beautiful Miss Patty, may I have this dinner all to myself?"

Patty looked at the guy who had appeared out of nowhere at the crucial moment, and listened to his nonsensical words, and her tense body and mind relaxed.

She sniffed, her nose slightly red, and, fighting back tears, raised her chin and snorted:

"Hmph, fine, you win..."

She was halfway through her sentence when her brain suddenly realized something.

and many more.

The dinner I just told the cannibal.

It refers to myself!

And now this guy is saying he wants to "have dinner all to himself"?!

That bastard!

Patty's dusty cheeks instantly turned bright red; this guy had been just as unserious as Dante since he was a child.

"Dream on, you bastard!"

Enraged, she threw the pistol at Suren. "If you want to eat me, you'd better sharpen your teeth with this first! You idiot, Suren!"

"Smack."

Suren reached out and took the pocket pistol.

The small gun still retained Patty's warmth, and a string of cursive characters was engraved on the grip—

Patty Lowell.

He casually tucked it into his lining and whistled at the blushing girl.

"You've even prepared a token of your love?"

"Then I'll reluctantly accept it."

"You! Keep daydreaming! Give me back my gun!"

Patty was so angry that she stomped her feet and was about to rush up and snatch it back.

Just as Suren was about to make a joke, he felt a strange movement beneath his feet.

His eyes turned cold, and he stomped down heavily: "So eager to die?"

A flash of purple light blurred Suren's figure, and the next second he appeared beside Patty.

Before Patty could react, he wrapped one arm around the girl's slender waist and slipped the other under her legs, lifting her up in his arms.

Patty gasped, her body leaping into the air as she instinctively hooked her arm around Suren's neck.

His figure blurred again, and the two of them had already stopped next to the overturned pickup truck.

Suren put Patty down and said to Alessa in her heart, "Protect her for me, don't let anyone get close."

In the darkness, Alessa's figure slowly appeared, and she nodded silently.

The surrounding environment began to deteriorate in a small area, and the sound of a large sword being dragged and scraped on the ground echoed faintly in the air.

Patty stared blankly at Suren's retreating figure, her cheeks flushing as she recalled his earlier actions.

Suren looked at the ogre who had just crawled out of the pit, his right hand clenching loosely.

"Come out for some fresh air, new buddy."

A ripple spread through the air, and a short-barreled shotgun appeared out of thin air in his hand.

These are some methods he recently figured out for using Silent Hill.

Previously, when Alessa resided in Suren's body, he could only control the arrival of Silent Hill within a small range, and even controlling its arrival and departure was somewhat difficult, making it hard to do as he pleased.

But from some point onwards, the inner world seemed to have granted him some access.

He can now store small, dead objects in Silent Hill and retrieve them at any time.

It felt like I had bought a piece of land in Silent Hill.

Perhaps Alessa absorbed too much of her own demonic energy, or perhaps...

Has Aresa accepted herself?

Suren composed himself and looked at the monster before him.

"Click".

He cocked the gun with one hand, and crimson magic clung to the exorcising flames.

The ogre stared at the food falling from the sky from a short distance away.

It couldn't understand why it could sense the oppressive feeling it had when facing those high-ranking demons in hell through a seemingly ordinary food.

This feeling both excited and terrified it.

"roar!"

It let out a roar, eager to eat.

however.

Suren's figure had vanished as a phantom, the red light remaining in his pupils leaving a trail of afterimages in the darkness.

"Bang!"

A heavy punch slammed into the ogre's abdomen, bending it into the shape of a mantis shrimp.

The ogre's body flew backward.

The next second, Suren's figure reappeared behind him.

"Bang bang bang!"

Several scarlet streaks of light flashed rapidly through the darkness, accompanied by a continuous series of striking sounds.

The ogre was like a punching bag, completely powerless against Suren's relentless barrage of attacks.

"it's over."

He appeared above the ogre, one foot on the monster's back, looking down at it with an indifferent expression.

At that moment, the red light in his eyes suddenly turned blood-red, and the Demon-Slaying Holy Flame in his hand was pressed against the back of the ogre's head.

"Bang!"

The bullet, imbued with magic, blasted out, instantly turning the ogre's head into dust.

Suren lifted the corpse up, twisted and kicked it horizontally, sending it flying towards the RV parked by the roadside.

"boom--"

The several-hundred-pound cannibal was like a cannonball, hitting the side of the RV directly and causing it to roll off the road.

"Spot on all!"

Suren looked at the RV with its equipment scattered all over the ground and nodded in satisfaction.

In the original story, this ogre was actually quite weak in combat; even ordinary people could harm it or imprison it.

Even if Suren had not awakened his bloodline, it wouldn't take too much time to deal with him.

But what makes it so troublesome is that it cannot be killed; every time you kill it, it will revive again.

"Surren, watch out! It won't die even if its head is gone!"

Patty's voice came from the side.

Suren nodded.

A commotion came from inside the overturned RV.

"Splash—"

The shattered windshield was kicked open.

Scott and Mikey crawled out, looking disheveled.

Scott's face was covered in shards of glass: "Fk!"

Mikey's stockings were torn to shreds, and her exquisite makeup was smeared all over her face, making her look like a clown.

But when they saw Suren standing on the road, their resentment at having their RV overturned by the monster's corpse vanished instantly.

Scott, in particular, felt as if he had seen his own father and tried to rush over to him as fast as he could.

"Help! Help me! You killed that monster! Thank goodness!"

Scott shouted as he climbed, afraid that Suren would abandon him, "Do you know the Armitage family? The family that caters exclusively to the top white elites..."

"Our family works for them. They have many special medical resources that are priceless. If you save me, I can introduce you to them!"

Mikey cried out, "Please! Take us away! Take us away from here!"

Suren stared coldly at the two men, her eyes devoid of any emotion.

Now that he has partial access to Silent Hill, he can see the darkness in the hearts of these two people.

Greed, selfishness, betrayal...

Even before they were fully airborne, when Suren saw Patty standing alone in the middle of the road facing the monster while the two of them were hiding in the RV, he already guessed what had happened.

It's nothing more than pushing and shoving each other, ultimately pushing the kind-hearted person out to become the scapegoat.

"Save you?"

Suren didn't rush to make a move. Instead, he pointed behind them and said gently, "If you can get through this, I'll save you."

"What?"

Scott and Mikey were startled and instinctively turned around.
