I can see experience bars after being transported to another world.

Lu Yuan also indicated that there was no problem with the rating, because he was still somewhat unfamiliar with the two Crimson Gold Grasses from which the golden threads were extracted, and he was well aware that the number of golden threads he extracted was not quite up to standard.

After looking at the three bottles of potion, the String Knight raised his eyes and carefully examined the young man in front of him.

"Are you a potion master from the realm of extraordinary knowledge?" Lu Yuan shook his head.

"So you studied pharmacology?" Lu Yuan shook his head as well.

"So who did you learn your potion-making skills from? You couldn't have taught yourself, could you?" the String Knight pressed. "Who was your teacher? Which senior member of the Night's Watch? Hale or Goodluck? Those two are certainly skilled at potion-making."

Lu Yuan shook his head again: "Neither."

The String Knight looked at the young man before him with some suspicion: "You're not lying to me, are you?"

"I didn't lie to you." Lu Yuan shook his head again with a serious expression.

The String Knight frowned slightly as he looked at the composed young man before him, circling him a few more times before asking, "So, what's your method?"

"I possess extraordinary knowledge of the uncanny," Lu Yuan said.

Although Lu Yuan didn't see it, he clearly sensed a question mark appearing above the String Knight's head.

"So who taught you your pharmaceutical skills?" the String Knight asked incredulously. "No, you taught yourself entirely? Are there really such talents?"

He muttered a few words to himself, then looked at Lu Yuan: "What courses did you choose at the Knight Academy?"

"Knightly martial arts, ancient languages..." Lu Yuan said truthfully.

"My potion basics course will be open soon too." After listening, the String Knight looked at Lu Yuan in front of him, "Remember to come to class then, and you can ask me anything you don't understand."

After saying that, he picked up his badge and pressed it against the badge issued by the Knight Academy to Lu Yuan. The light flashed and then disappeared, and a small mark with a potion bottle on it was left on the badge.

The medicine bottle was light blue, and the liquid inside was only halfway up. There was also a mark near the bottle opening, clearly a mark that could only be obtained after advanced authentication.

"Your intermediate certification has been passed directly."

Lu Yuan looked down at the small mark on the badge and couldn't help but smile.

Alright, I've got the intermediate potion master certification. Now earning knight tokens will be a piece of cake.

The String Knight put the badge away, his voice returning to its original tone, unhurried and relaxed.

"You've now directly obtained your Advanced Certification. Crafting all three potions, including the Great Flame Potion, fulfills the requirements. You no longer need to take orders to obtain Advanced Certification. Whenever you want to take the exam, if you feel confident in your ability, you can bring your badge to participate."

Lu Yuan ran his fingertips over the mark; making all three bottles was indeed worthwhile.

However, that's not all there is to it. Lu Yuan came to the String Knights not just to get certified.

But how should he bring it up? The String Knight seemed to sense Lu Yuan's hesitation and asked directly, "You can ask me anything directly."

"Um, Wise Knight," Lu Yuan asked, "are you very good at music theory?"

"Of course." The String Knight nodded. "I reached the fourth rank based on music theory. There are no more than two people in the entire empire who are better than me. I mean, there are no more than two people who are better than me in music theory."

The String Knight glanced at Lu Yuan: "Don't tell me you want to learn music theory? Aren't you supposed to be extraordinary and mysterious? Why would you want to learn this? With your amazing talent for potions, learning this would be a waste of your time."

He paused, then sighed helplessly.

"Talent is something that can only be encountered by chance, not sought after," the old man muttered to himself.

Lu Yuan hesitated for a moment before speaking, "No, I don't plan to study music theory, but I'm very interested in ancient music theory. Wise Knight, do you know it? I'd like to ask you for some tips and knowledge in this area."

"Ancient music theory?" The String Knight was taken aback. "Where did you learn about this? There aren't many people in the Empire who know this stuff these days."

Lu Yuan said that he learned about the existence of ancient music theory in Sandworm Town in the northwest of the empire, and later learned some of it by chance.

The String Knight looked at him, hesitated for a moment, and finally nodded: "I do know some ancient music theory, but it's really useless. Are you sure you want to learn it?"

Lu Yuan frowned slightly, noticing the somewhat bewildered expression on the String Knight's face. "Why? Why did you say that?"

Because the gray and white text at that time provided very clear hints about ancient music theory, and after reaching a certain level, it could bring out things that shouldn't have appeared.

In Lu Yuan's understanding, a skill that can be described in this way must be a top-tier skill.

In addition, Lu Yuan also has a special sandworm bone flute, which might be able to summon some strange things as a backup plan.

"Why?" Lu Yuan asked, puzzled.

"Because the transmission of ancient music theory has almost been lost." The String Knight sighed silently.

"Secondly, ancient music theory does not have corresponding musical pieces, so the effect it produces is extremely poor. Moreover, the requirements of ancient music theory for musical pieces are almost demanding; even the slightest deviation is completely unacceptable. The higher the level, the more obvious this becomes."

As the String Knight spoke, he reached for a chair beside him and sat down, then gestured for Lu Yuan to sit as well.

Lu Yuan sat down, his brows furrowed. "How could this be? It shouldn't be like this. When I first encountered ancient music theory, I had already learned two pieces from it. And judging from my playing, they were actually quite good."

Lu Yuan poured out his doubts:

"What I know are the Accompaniment Music and the Sandworm Song. Although the Sandworm Song is incomplete, it is indeed effective. This was quite evident in Sandworm Town at the time. When they played this broken Sandworm Song, it would affect the sandworms and attract them out."

What Lu Yuan said was true, because he had seen it with his own eyes.

The mayor of Sandworm Town raised his bone flute, and the dark brown sandworms would swim out of the sea of sand, soothed by the melody, and quietly climb onto the rocks, where they would be ambushed and killed.

It would be very hard to believe such a scene if you hadn't seen it with your own eyes.

After listening to Lu Yuan's story, the String Knight sighed:

"What you see is precisely the problem," the String Knight said slowly.

"I also know about the Companion Plant Music. This ancient music theory piece has been passed down for a long time. I tried to learn it before, but the effect was not ideal. It is only effective for some basic or common medicinal materials. Moreover, it not only has no effect on some very precious plants or even plants with extremely demanding growing conditions, but it also has the opposite effect. This is because each plant has different emotions and needs. You can think of each plant as a separate person."

"Take the Flame Grass for example, it might really like upbeat songs, while the Silver Grass prefers more peaceful music."

Upon hearing the examples of Light Silver Grass and Flame Grass, Lu Yuan was slightly taken aback. He immediately realized the significance of the examples given by the String Knight.

"But I remember the description of Banzhile said it was effective for all kinds of herbs, right?"

The String Knight looked at Lu Yuan in front of him with an expression that said, "You're so naive."

"Only two plant-accompaniment pieces have survived to this day, totaling four melodies. This means that the current plant-accompaniment music can only be used for four types of plants. In the true sense, plant-accompaniment music would have a dedicated melody for each major category of plants. In other words, theoretically, plant-accompaniment music is a huge collection of dozens of different melodies. What has survived to this day is just the tip of the iceberg."

"That's not the key point." The String Knight looked at Lu Yuan.

"Do you know what it means when the tune you play doesn't match the plants? It means that your accompaniment to the plants will be a disaster for some plants that don't like the music. The plants you play won't grow faster; instead, they'll wither faster."

"That's only one aspect," the String Knight continued.

"Take the incomplete Sandworm Song you mentioned, for example. If I'm not mistaken, the Sandworm Song should be of the same type as the Beast-Phantom Song or the Beast-Driving Song. Although I haven't heard the Sandworm Song, I can roughly guess that it should be able to drive sandworms to communicate to a certain extent, or attract them, or even provoke them. When sandworms hear these songs, they will have some kind of reaction, which will affect their behavior."

"But what should the true Song of the Sandworm be like? It should be a smooth communication with it, not just a simple emotional attraction. Of course, this applies not only to the Song of the Sandworm, but to all similar tunes. This means that even if you practice the Song of the Sandworm to its fullest extent according to the current score, even if you reach the fourth level of transcendence using ancient music theory, you can still only play a few tunes. But if you want to create your own tune, or rather, perfect the tune, the effort you will have to put in is immeasurable."

The String Knight stared into Lu Yuan's eyes: "Are you sure you can bear this price?"
