Courtyard House: My Time Travel is a Bit Too Strong

"If the training grounds need anything, just let me know, and I'll cover it."

"We don't need any for now. We have enough Type 81 and Type 56 ammunition in stock, more than enough for practice."

"Okay, I'll transfer someone from the mess hall to take care of your three meals a day."

"Thank you, Captain Long!" Lin Quan flashed a smile, revealing his white teeth.

When the company comes to train, we can get a free meal.

When no one is around, you have to fend for yourself all the pots and pans.

If they really sent a cook, he'd be living off the sea, with plenty of seafood, and it wouldn't be surprising if he got tired of it.

"What kind of cook do you want?"

"I can cook Sichuan cuisine," Lin Quan thought for a moment and answered readily.

"Since they're here, you can bring the training materials along as well," Wu Gang interjected.

"Yes!" Lin Quan's voice was clear and unambiguous.

"You missed the military skills competitions last year and this year..." Long Baichuan's tone was tinged with apology and regret.

During last year's competition, he went to sea on the 377 boat to carry out a mission.

This year's competition saw him leading the airborne special operations regiment on a 300-kilometer march with heavy loads.

Winning the championship in the entire army skills competition basically guarantees a second-class merit.

A second-class merit award, plus a 10% bonus on demobilization pay;

If you work your way up to the rank of First Class Sergeant and retire after serving the full term, your monthly pension will increase by 10%.

In recent years, the base salary of a first-class sergeant major is 16,000 yuan. With long military service, sufficient merits, and full utilization of policies, the retirement pension can be doubled... 32,000 yuan per month is not an exaggeration.

"Work hard in the Navy, and I'll try to add another half-leg to your tally by the end of the year."

Corporal and Sergeant are junior non-commissioned officers; Staff Sergeant and Senior Sergeant Major are intermediate-level officers; Senior Sergeant Major, Senior Sergeant Major, and Senior Sergeant Major are all senior non-commissioned officers.

These days, everyone is pushing for younger employees, but few can match Lin Quan's technical skills and achievements.

The Air Force wants to dig it up, and the submarine squadron is also keeping an eye on it...

Normal promotions are based on years of service, but it's not uncommon for top recruits in the military to be promoted to major upon enlistment.

If you really have the ability to command the scene, age? It's just a number.

Some young people earn their doctoral degrees at the age of sixteen.

People with real skills never have to worry about not having work; the key is whether they are willing to take it on.

If Lin Quan agrees, he can be transferred to the submarine detachment, the airborne special operations regiment, or the flight squadron at any time.

Having observed the training of the Blade Point Squad, Long Baichuan and Wu Gang left together.

The next morning at nine o'clock, a young man in his early twenties arrived at the sea training ground by car.

"Team Leader Lin, cook Zhao Guang, reporting for duty!" The young man raised his hand in salute, his movements swift and efficient.

Lin Quan returned the greeting, arranged for him to stay, and pointed out several key locations at the sea training ground to him.

During a break from training, Lin Quan casually dived into the sea and caught a few lobsters and crabs.

We prepared a seafood feast for lunch, and everyone enjoyed it immensely. After resting for less than an hour after lunch, we continued practicing.

Even Zhao Guang, whose physical fitness was average, didn't fall behind... Once he joined the Knife Tip Squad, even if he was only in charge of the stove, he still had to run laps and carry sandbags as required.

In some companies, the cooking squads actually house veterans with solid backgrounds.

They were injured during a mission and could no longer go to the front line. They were not good at sitting in an office, so they were assigned to the cooking squad.

The current training of the Knife Point Squad focuses on marksmanship and physical fitness, with one goal: to train the personnel as quickly as possible.

Lin Quan dug up a lot of information online, picked and chose, and incorporated it into his daily training.

For example, when practicing night vision, you can use incense instead of a target and move forward half a step each day, and your eyes will gradually adapt to the dim light.

He meticulously recorded every day's training data. For this experimental team, numbers were more tangible than slogans.

Five months have passed in the blink of an eye.

"The Lunar New Year is just ten days away, so I can take a break for more than twenty days."

"Third-class sergeant, strive for promotion to the next rank next year."

Lin Quan took out his phone and made a call home... He wasn't going back this year.

After the New Year, I'll be working as a guest instructor at Wolf Fang for six months, and my schedule is already fully booked for the next few years.

He shook off distractions, buried himself in organizing materials, and wrote a new physical training syllabus.

With repeated trials and revisions, the respiratory monitoring equipment became increasingly stable.

With this thing, even ordinary people can gradually push open the ceiling of their body within a safe range.

"To be on the safe side, readjust the program."

He reduced his breakthrough efficiency by a full half.

He can tell a person's condition by their breathing; others don't have that ability.

If someone collapses while practicing with the equipment, he cannot bear the responsibility.

Safety is the bottom line; we'd rather go slower than compromise on stability.

When you have accumulated enough potential, breaking through limits becomes smoother and more reliable.

"Measure pulse, heartbeat, breathing... these names are too narrow."

After pondering for a long time, he officially renamed the "respiratory monitoring device" to... the Strong Soldier System.

"Parts are easy to buy, programs are not difficult to write, and the most valuable thing is the actual test data."

"Not many people use it now, so we'll make a few more sets."

After ordering the ingredients, he went out to gather the Knife-Edge Squad.

After more than four months of extreme training, the six main combat team members are now able to carry 150 kilograms of weight.

Cook Zhao Guang carried 80 kilograms on his back and ran 30 kilometers on the beach in one go without getting red in the face or out of breath.

The sandy terrain is even more strenuous than the mountain roads; every step you take, sinking and pulling yourself out, is a real drain on your energy.

After Zhang Kun, Xu Jie... and Zhao Guang, and all the test scores were completed, Lin Quan had a clear idea of the results.

In terms of marksmanship and physical fitness, the elite members of the Knife Point Squad have clearly surpassed the top soldiers of the airborne special operations regiment.

A week later, the parts arrived, and Lin Quan made a total of one hundred sets of the Strong Soldier System.

"Let's test it out for three months in the amphibious reconnaissance brigade first, and postpone it for three months with the Wolf Fang team."

He drove straight to the camp and told Long Baichuan and Wu Gang about the situation in person.

Long Baichuan made a phone call on the spot, hung up half an hour later, and patted Lin Quan on the shoulder with a smile: "It's settled."

The Bladepoint Squad was then stationed at the Dragon Shark Squadron, and the Strong Soldier System entered the practical testing phase.

A few days later, Lin Quan took three days off and went to his parents-in-law's house to spend the Chinese New Year.

On the day he returned to camp, he plunged back into the testing site.

Jiang Xiaoyu, Xiang Yu, Balang, Lu Yan... one by one they gritted their teeth and pushed forward, sweating profusely, but their scores kept jumping up.

"Captain Lin, could I borrow a Strong Soldier System and take a look at it?" Li Junjie asked with a smile.

"Instructor Li, this thing is still in the confidential testing phase," Lin Quan replied crisply.

"Understood." Li Junjie nodded and didn't ask any more questions.

Equipment that allows soldiers to continuously push their physical limits, even if it's just a prototype, must be kept tightly sealed.

Back in the airborne special operations regiment, the first piece of auxiliary equipment he made was immediately labeled as classified.

After three months of testing, the Strong Soldier System showed zero failures, zero false alarms, and zero accidents.

Lin Quan finished writing the report overnight and handed it to Long Baichuan's desk.

In less than three days, eighty sets of systems, along with a complete set of process drawings, were taken away by a designated person.

At the same time, Lin Quan led the seven members of the Blade Tip Squad in three military off-road vehicles and headed straight for the Wolf Fang Camp.

A month ago, Zhao Guang's identity was officially changed to that of a member of the Knife Tip Squad.

As soon as the car came to a stop, Lin Quan handed over his identification and a letter of introduction.

Less than ten minutes later, He Zhijun and Fan Tianlei came out side by side to greet them.

"Commander!" Lin Quan led the way, raising his hand in salute.

"Team Leader Lin, you've finally arrived." He Zhijun raised his hand in return, smiling, and reached out to greet him.

"Team Leader Lin," Fan Tianlei nodded with a smile, "Please come in."

Upon entering the Wolf Fang camp, Lin Quan didn't look around much, only glancing at the dormitories and offices.
