Courtyard House: My Time Travel is a Bit Too Strong

Chapter 814 One Shot Takes Down a Helicopter

Married men go home to take care of their children and spend time with their wives; unmarried men either go out to play or have fun.

After finishing their meal, Lin Quan took Sandra back to the Xingyi Quan gym.

"Are you a boxer?" Sandra asked, tilting her head.

"I guess so," Lin Quan replied casually.

"Can you teach me?" Her eyes lit up.

"Okay." He nodded, already determined to teach her Xingyi Five Elements Fist.

In the back and forth, it is inevitable to lend a hand, correct, support the waist, and lift the elbow.

Sandra's figure was firm and her movements were nimble, so it wasn't much of a test for Lin Quan, who was in his early twenties... Xingguo didn't have so many twists and turns; he didn't pretend, and she didn't refuse.

After several repetitions, he paused for half a second longer with his fingertips and pressed his palm against hers for two inches longer, but she only raised an eyebrow and smiled without saying a word.

After practicing for more than an hour that night, feeling relaxed all over, Lin Quan fell asleep immediately. When he opened his eyes, the sun was already high in the sky.

"Good physical constitution and smooth energy channels are sufficient for fighting ghosts and demons."

After breakfast, he had Sandra practice standing meditation while he sat cross-legged in a corner, silently practicing the Dragon Elephant Prajna Gong.

After resting for a few days, the phone rang, and Lin Quan went straight to the tattoo shop.

Thor's shop has always been a hangout for the Expendables.

"I suggest Gunnar return to the team. Anyone have something to say?" Bani asked.

Christmas, the tollbooth, and Caesar all nodded. Yin Yang remained silent for a few seconds, then nodded as well.

Lin Quan has only been with the team for a short time, so it's not his place to express his opinion.

Gunnar shaved his head, straightened his back, and stood in the line again.

"This is Billy, the new sharpshooter," Barney introduced.

Everyone shook hands with him one by one.

"This time we're going to Nepal to rescue a Chinese businessman," Bani said. Then everyone gathered around the screen to draw routes and assign tasks.

The reward is ten million Star Coins. According to the old rules, Lin Quan will receive eight hundred thousand.

After the plane landed, they jumped into the modified armored vehicles and drove straight into the heart of the militant camp.

Lin Quan and Billy set up their guns and watched as Bani and his men charged into battle... Figures tumbled and sparks flew, making one's blood boil.

The work was done efficiently, and no one got hurt.

On the return trip, Yin Yang, carrying the target, jumped out of the cabin door, and the parachute blossomed.

After receiving the 800,000 yuan, Lin Quan first paid back 820,000 yuan to Bani, and then spent another 120,000 yuan to buy an 8-ret sniper rifle and matching bullets.

Back at the boxing gym, he and Sandra closed the door and worked for more than two hours. Before their sweat had even dried, they were already lying down, closing their eyes to practice the Dragon Elephant Prajna Kung Fu.

Two weeks later, the church came to their door. They didn't say much, but their meaning was clear: help them, or be crucified.

The incident on Vilanna Island last time caused too much of a stir and too much noise.

The church is controlled by the CIA; they have evidence in their hands. If they really want to take it seriously, the entire suicide squad will be imprisoned.

"This is Maggie, we'll be working together this time," Bani introduced.

Lin Quan's mind flashed back to the movie "The Expendables 2"... Billy was the one who got caught in this job.

He lowered his head and took a sip of coffee, deciding in his mind: as soon as he got the hard drive, he would get as far away as possible.

Before boarding, Maggie asked, "Are you Chinese?"

"Um."

"Murder." His voice was flat, devoid of emotion.

That man used to be the owner of a small restaurant in a rural town, barely making ends meet.

Unfortunately, they ran into a professional counterfeit hunter who had his eye on 500 servings of braised pork belly and demanded ten times the compensation.

Tens of thousands? He couldn't even afford the deposit.

He was a bachelor, with no one to hold him back, but his temper was flaring up, so he grabbed a cleaver and went at it.

The fraudster ran away with the bankbook, which actually benefited him... He took the money, bought a plane ticket, and flew straight to Singapore.

Honest people, when cornered, can sometimes be more ruthless than anyone else.

"That man deserves to die," Caesar interjected.

We've reached the crash site. The crate contains an encrypted bomb; it detonated on the spot after three incorrect attempts.

Lin Quan gripped the metal lid with both hands, his veins bulging, and forcefully pried open a crack; Caesar squatted beside him, holding down the corners, and the two of them together lifted it open.

Maggie tried the password for the first time, beep... the red light flashed, and the countdown started.

The air suddenly tensed up.

Fortunately, she lost correctly the second time. A green light came on with a beep, and the hard drive was lying steadily at the bottom of the case.

Lin Quan made an excuse to go to the toilet, turned into the woods, and followed the group at a distance.

Sure enough, as soon as Billy reached the edge of the bushes, he was tackled from behind by Velen's men.

"Put down your guns!" Velen, along with seven or eight men, blocked their path with guns in hand.

"Captain, are you in or not?" Lin Quan asked in a low voice, his voice clear through the communicator.

"Don't move yet," Bani replied crisply.

"Bani, throw the gun." Velen raised his chin, the muzzle of the gun pointed directly at Billy, who was tied up.

Bani glanced at the number of people, then looked at Billy's pale face, and raised his hand to signal everyone to disarm.

The enemy has more people and more guns, so if it really comes down to a fight, the chances of winning are slim... Even if Lin Quan is hiding in the shadows, he can't wipe them all out in an instant.

"Three..." The Velen dagger was pressed against Billy's neck, the tip slightly sinking into the flesh.

Maggie paused, glanced down at the hard drive, and handed it over.

Velen took the hard drive, and before turning around, he slid his wrist down, the blade slicing open Billy's throat from bottom to top. Blood gushed out as he retreated to the helicopter door.

Barney gripped his gun without moving, and Lin Quan also held his ground without pulling the trigger.

The rotor noise grew louder, and the fuselage was about ten meters off the ground when a gunshot rang out.

The bullet grazed the fuel tank's exterior and went inside, exploding in flames.

The helicopter crashed down like a kite with a broken string, exploding into a fireball with debris flying everywhere.

"The Eight-Ritter's gun has enough power, but its accuracy is a bit off... It should have hit Velen in the head, but it flipped the fuel tank instead." Lin Quan nodded silently to himself.

Falling from a height of more than ten meters, Wei Lun and his men were all broken to pieces. Those who were still alive were engulfed in flames and never moved again.

"Captain." Lin Quan carried the Eight-Rate and hurried down the mountain.

"Bury Billy." Bani's voice was hoarse. If Lin Quan had fired the shot earlier, they might have been able to salvage a chance.

After the grave mound was completed, the group boarded the plane to return home.

The suicide squad's planes were amphibious, capable of flying in the air and gliding on water, with nimble takeoffs and landings.

"The hard drive is burned out." Lin Quan shrugged.

"Burn it clean," Maggie smiled.

The hard drive contained the coordinates of five tons of plutonium. On the black market, it cost four million star coins per kilogram… two hundred billion star coins, and just like that, it was buried in the wind along with the ashes.

"Lin, that was a really clean shot. The helicopter just fell down like that." Caesar patted him on the shoulder.

"The target is big. Within 600 meters, even a B-800 could bite off a piece of flesh with its eyes closed," Lin Quan answered casually. "Viren's plane ascends slowly, it's practically nailed there. I aimed for his left shoulder, but he just lifted his body up and the bullet hit the fuel tank."

Before leaving, Maggie wrote down everyone's numbers.

Back at the Xingyi Quan school, Lin Quan taught Sandra how to break down the Five Elements Fist's energy pathways while he sat cross-legged to regulate his breathing, pressing the Dragon Elephant Prajna Kung Fu layer by layer.

A few days later the phone rang, and he drove to a corner restaurant.

"Are you alone?" he asked.

"One person isn't warm enough?" Maggie raised an eyebrow.

"That's not what I meant." He shook his head.

After eating half of the meal and chatting amiably, they went to a nearby hotel. They sparred for over an hour, their fists and feet clashing, their breaths mingling.

She is of Chinese descent, a Singaporean citizen, and works as a CIA field agent.

"Singaporeans are straightforward and open-minded."

As the morning light streamed through the window, Lin Quan finished his practice, stood up, and walked out of the hotel feeling refreshed.

"Height, looks, physique, foundation... everything is excellent..."

He walked briskly back to the boxing gym and plunged into the training room, carrying 400 kilograms of weight. His breath was as heavy as a mountain, and the Dragon Elephant Prajna Kung Fu was grinding into the depths of his muscles and bones layer by layer.

Three months later, Sandra left with her bag.
