Chapter 51 Gravity Training Room
Chapter 51 Gravity Training Room
Talot, Gine, and Serari remained silent.
The existence of the Dragon Balls and Shenron's wish-granting ability gave them all some ulterior motives.
Of course, even though they knew the Dragon Balls were special and precious, they didn't try to steal them.
The main reason is that Talot had a huge influence on them.
Unbeknownst to them, Gine and Serari had both become the kind of people who wouldn't easily get into arguments with others, much less fight over or seize other people's property.
A long time passed.
Just then, a voice rang out, once again drawing the attention of the three of them.
Without a doubt, the person who came was Brief.
Talot recognized him at a glance. Although he looked much younger than in the original story, his appearance and clothing were almost identical.
"Are you the guests my daughter mentioned? I heard you need my help to make something special." Brief walked in, with Tais following behind him.
The two men kept glancing at Talot and the other two. Because of his daughter's reminder, Brif knew that the boy was the one who had come to ask him for help.
"Hello, Dr. Brief! I've heard that you are the creator of the Capsule of Life and the most brilliant scientist on Earth today, so I would like to ask you to help me make some things." In his face-to-face greeting, Talot was very approachable.
The saying goes, "Flattery will get you everywhere." While it might not mean much to Brief, almost everyone in the world likes to hear nice things.
"Not at all, there are many famous scientists on Earth. I'm just outstanding in certain areas," Brief replied tactfully.
He then sat down, and Tais followed suit on the sofa, asking, "Dad's here now, so just tell me if you need any help."
With her words intervening, Talot spoke up, "In that case, I won't waste any more time dawdling. Actually, I need Dr. Brief to help me build a device that can control gravity."
"A device to control gravity?" Brief and Tais were both taken aback, surprised.
"You might not understand what I'm saying. So let me put it another way. I want you to help me build a room with controllable gravity and a huge space!" Talot said.
Upon hearing this, Brif and Tais were taken aback.
"I'm curious, what do you need a room like this for?" Brief unconsciously lit a cigarette for himself.
Perhaps it's a habit I develop when I'm using my brain.
Meanwhile, Gine and Serari became curious, as they had no idea what Talot was up to.
When asked, Talot didn't mince words and answered directly, "Cultivation!"
"Cultivation? So you're a martial artist?" Tais asked in surprise.
Talot understood what the martial artist meant. Even though Gine and Serari were present, he didn't hesitate and replied, "You could say that. In short, it requires gravity to complement training and make oneself stronger."
Tais was even more surprised when she heard this.
Although she wasn't very proficient in this area, she knew how to cultivate using gravity, which was simply insane.
Most importantly, Talot was clearly much younger than her.
"While I'm amazed by your intellect, I must tell you that controlling gravity is no joke. I estimate you're no more than eleven or twelve years old. At such a young age, experiencing gravity several times that of Earth could be life-threatening," Brief said.
His reminder was for ordinary people.
"You can rest assured about that. My strength far exceeds your imagination. For example..." As he spoke, Talot walked to the side, reached out and grabbed the seemingly heavy giant tea table, and casually lifted it above his head.
He proved his strength, which shocked Brief and Tais.
Talot didn't pause, setting down the heavy tea table as he continued, "I wouldn't act recklessly without sufficient confidence! Besides, we've lived in places with gravity exceeding ten times that of Earth, so enduring dozens of times Earth's gravity in one go is within our capabilities! Therefore, as one of Earth's leading scientists, you should be able to create it, right?"
Hearing Talot's words, Brief was shocked, but after a moment's thought, he stubbed out his cigarette: "It's not a problem to manufacture it, but it can't be controlled without limit. Even if such a room were created, the controllable range wouldn't be very large. Besides, the cost wouldn't be low either."
"Money doesn't matter; for now, a gravity level of 100 times that of Earth is enough," Talot said, unconcerned.
"I'm not talking about money. Some materials and things are very difficult to obtain, so even if we can make them, it will take a long time. Are you going to wait?" Brief replied.
That's true; money is just a number to him.
"Tell me what materials you need, and I can get them if they're available on Earth. Even things from outside Earth, I can handle." Talot didn't hesitate.
Although he didn't say it very clearly, he did express his decision.
The gravity training room is extremely important; it's a cheat code in the early stages. If you can't master it, it's like having a treasure mountain but not knowing how to use it.
Seemingly swayed by Talot's sincerity, Brif raised his hand, pinched his chin, and pondered for a long time before speaking: "Let me study it for a while before I can draw a conclusion. I also have plans to explore new areas of discovery. This shouldn't take too long, about ten days to half a month, and I'll be able to give you an accurate answer."
"Okay!" Talot nodded with a smile.
And so, the matter was settled.
Tais, Gine, and Serari, who were standing to the side, were still in a daze.
I felt completely bewildered.
Nearly an hour passed in the blink of an eye.
Casual conversation, plus discussions on some ideas.
Although Talot didn't understand much, as a time traveler, his various bold conjectures and the knowledge he had gained from his past and present lives greatly inspired Brief.
In short, in such a short time, the two established a very good relationship.
……
Before leaving, Brief kindly invited Talot and the other two to stay for dinner.
"No, we have other things to do. We'll come back in a few days. We might even have to stay here for a while then." Talot did not accept.
After nearly two days, not only have their emotions been eased, but some things have also been indirectly taken care of. It's almost time to return to the Temple of Heaven.
Before leaving, Talot took out a clear crystal that shimmered with blue light and gave it to Brief.
Brief's eyes were immediately drawn to the blue crystal.
Although he didn't know much about minerals like crystals, his years of experience told him that this blue crystal didn't seem to be a known type of crystal.
"This is a small gift. Next time we meet, I'll give you a bigger one. I might need your help then."
After leaving Brief's house, Talot took Gine and Serarra and flew away.
Breeve and Tais were once again astonished that Talot and the other two could fly.
