Journey to the West: Upon seeing the Yellow-Eyebrowed Demon, why not pay homage?

The Buddha from the East was very kind and approachable, like a compassionate teacher.

But Huang Mei dared not be arrogant because of his favor, for he had seen too many changes in people's hearts.

When things are good, everything is good.

In bad times, any act of arrogance is a sin.

"As the saying goes, thunder and rain are both blessings from heaven. Whatever Master bestows upon me, I will be happy."

Upon hearing this, the Buddha of the East laughed and said, "Enough, enough, enough, I won't ask you any more questions."

After a moment of contemplation, he raised his hand and said, "Give me your exquisite inner core of the relic and the calming pill."

Without the slightest hesitation or inquiry, Huang Mei took out the Linglong Inner Core with his left hand and the Tranquilizing Pill with his right, and presented them to the Buddha of the East.

Donglai Buddha silently put away the two items and said, "I will add some more later and refine these two treasures into a magic artifact. Go to the inner court of Tushita Heaven to retrieve it in three days."
