Special forces soldier demobilization: Starting from the county government compound, a meteoric rise

"Unacceptable! This is a blatant breach of contract and an insult to the M-Group!"

Thomas's face, flushed with rage, was now contorted like a ripe tomato. He pointed at the pile of contract fragments in the trash can, roaring in fluent English, spittle flying everywhere.

"On behalf of M Group headquarters, I hereby formally inform you that we are terminating all cooperation with China and initiating international commercial arbitration to seek one billion US dollars in damages for breach of contract!"

"Liu Ming! You will pay the most terrible price for your arrogance and stupidity! You will become the eternal sinner of the entire Chinese semiconductor industry!"

Threat!

A blatant threat!

The department heads and Zhao Ruihu present were all terrified by Thomas's words and turned pale.

Termination of cooperation?

International arbitration?

One billion US dollars?

Any one of these points would be enough to trigger a major upheaval in officialdom!

A morbid sense of pleasure even welled up in Zhao Ruihu's heart! He couldn't wait for Liu Ming to make a big fuss, preferably to the State Council, so that the higher-ups could see what kind of person this "young talent" on whom they had placed such high hopes really was!

however.

Despite being at the center of the storm, Liu Ming remained calm and composed.

He even had the leisure to pour himself a glass of water.

He looked at the furious Thomas, shook his head, and looked at him as if he were looking at an unreasonable child.

Then he spoke.

"Mr. Thomas, are you finished?"

Liu Ming's voice was soft, but it was like a bucket of ice water poured over Thomas's burning anger.

"In my opinion, all your outbursts just now can be summed up in three words."

"Ignorance, arrogance, and... stupidity."

"What did you say?" Thomas asked, sounding like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.

"I told you you're stupid, and you still won't admit it?"

Liu Ming smiled, a smile filled with the absolute crushing power and...mockery of a superior over a subordinate.

He did not speak English to Thomas again.

Instead, it seamlessly switched to a French accent, elegant and fluent… with a strong Parisian accent.

According to Article 32 of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, any treaty concluded by threat of force or the use of force is null and void.

"Your use of your technological monopoly to impose unequal terms constitutes commercial coercion."

He seamlessly switched back to...German, which was precise and accurate.

"Nach dem deutschen Gesetz gegen unlauteren Wettbewerb, ist Ihr Verhalten ein typischer Fall von 'Missbrauch einer marktbeherrschenden Stellung'." (According to the German Anti-Unfair Competition Act, your behavior constitutes a typical case of "abuse of market dominance.")

"If I submit this contract to the European Union's antitrust commission, how many points do you think your M Group's stock price will drop tomorrow?"

Finally, he even used a somewhat sarcastic... Japanese.

"トーマスさん、あなたたちのそのやり方は、あまりにも时偅れですよ." (Mr. Thomas, your way of playing is too outdated.)

"Do you really think that China today is still the 'Sick Man of East Asia' that you could take whatever you wanted from it a hundred years ago?"

……

Fluent in all three languages, seamlessly switch between them!

Every single word is precise!

Every pronunciation is perfect!

Every legal provision cited hits the nail on the head!

The entire reception room was deathly silent!

Everyone was stunned!

They stared in disbelief at the young man who fluently switched between three languages, feeling as if their brains had completely shut down!

This...this is fucking...

Is it a person?

Zhao Ruihu was struck dumb!

His face, which had been wearing a gloating smile, froze completely!

He had assumed that Liu Ming was just a "brute" who knew a little English.

But he never expected this!

The other party is not only fluent in multiple languages!

Even more proficient in... international law!

Thomas, and the group of blond-haired, blue-eyed "elites" behind him, were completely speechless at this moment.

They looked at Liu Ming as if she were a monster from another planet!

Their proud "legal barriers" and "unfair terms" proved to be as fragile as a piece of paper in front of this young man!

He easily pierced through it, leaving it riddled with holes!

"besides."

Liu Ming gave them no chance to catch their breath.

He then took out a technical analysis report entirely in English from that seemingly ordinary tactical briefcase.

"This is a 'health check report' that I spent one night writing for your 'Zeus' framework."

He threw the report in front of Thomas.

"Your so-called 'core patents' actually have three fatal flaws in their underlying logic."

"First, the power consumption is too high. Second, the data redundancy is too great. Third, and most ridiculously, your so-called 'encryption algorithm' is, in my opinion, like a child's toy, full of loopholes."

"If I were to publish this report..."

Liu Ming looked at Thomas's pale face and said, word by word:

"...Do you think your M Group can still retain its so-called 'global technology leader' status?"

"You...you..."

Thomas pointed at Liu Ming, his lips trembling, unable to utter a single complete word!

He was utterly terrified!

He knew he had really messed up today!

And it's the kind of thing that can smash him and his company to pieces... a cosmic iron!

"Mr. Liu..."

His voice softened instantly, filled with endless fear and...pleading.

"Misunderstanding...it's all a misunderstanding..."

"That supplementary agreement...it was a mistake by my subordinates! I...I'll have them redraft it immediately!"

"Please...please, give us another chance!"

……

After half an hour.

A brand-new "cooperation agreement" that removed all unfair terms and offered to transfer three core patented technologies free of charge was presented to Liu Ming.

Thomas and his group of previously arrogant "elites" now stood respectfully to the side, like a group of schoolchildren who had made a mistake, not daring to even breathe loudly.

Liu Ming picked up the pen and signed her name on the agreement with flowing, elegant strokes.

Then, he looked at Thomas, who was already sweating profusely, and smiled.

"Mr. Thomas, remember this."

"From now on, I'll do business with Chinese people."

"Come with sincerity."

"Don't always think you can treat us like fools."

"Because that would only make you look even dumber."

After saying that, he walked out of the reception room without looking back.

All that remained was a room full of "elites" who looked as if they had lost their parents, and that one who was completely petrified... Zhao Ruihu.

……

The news spread like wildfire throughout the entire National Development and Reform Commission building.

All the senior directors who had previously been hesitant or even somewhat dismissive of Liu Ming were stunned upon hearing this news!

For the first time, they truly witnessed the terrifying... professional abilities of this excessively young "new colleague"!

How can this be considered a "brute"?

This is clearly a national hero who can govern the country with both literary and military talents!

From then on.

The National Development and Reform Commission is a building teeming with hidden talents.

A seemingly irrefutable legend began to circulate.

You may question Director Liu's age.

—You can also be jealous of his background.

But you should never challenge him in his area of expertise.

—Because that's not a challenge.

That would be self-inflicted humiliation.
