Special forces soldier demobilization: Starting from the county government compound, a meteoric rise

Room 1808, Hilton Hotel, Fengzhou City.

A meticulously planned "caught in the act" drama ultimately came to an end in a way that no one expected and was full of magical realism.

When the police from Fengzhou City stormed into the room, they were greeted by a scene that would be unforgettable for them.

—A portly deputy county head from a neighboring county is leading a group of so-called "reporters" to frantically take pictures of a burly man in lingerie lying unconscious on the bed.

The person who reported the "anti-prostitution" incident, Liu Ming, a cadre from Qingyun County and also the "victim," was trembling in a corner, wearing a bathrobe, looking "still in shock."

This scene is so beautiful.

So beautiful, that the police officers who responded to the call didn't even know who to arrest.

Although, after Gou Tianming revealed his identity and used some "connections," the matter was ultimately determined to be a "misunderstanding."

He himself was not taken away on the spot.

However, no wall is completely airtight.

the next day.

A scandalous news story, enough to ignite the officialdom and public opinion of the entire Jiangnan Province, quietly spread like wildfire across major online forums and social media platforms.

[Shocking! A deputy county head in Qingyun County has a peculiar fetish? He led a team to a hotel late at night to "catch" his own male driver in bed!]

[A glimpse into the true nature of officialdom? Why did a meticulously planned frame-up ultimately degenerate into a farcical mess?]

The most "bromance" scene: the love-hate relationship between the boss and the driver...

Although these posts were quickly and completely deleted by powerful "public relations" efforts.

However, the related screenshots and those jokes full of "meaning" have already spread to everyone's phones.

Gou Tianming, the executive deputy county head of Qingyun County, who is known as a "smiling tiger," has become a complete sensation this time.

It was just in the way he least wanted to be.

He became a laughing stock in the entire Jiangnan province's officialdom.

……

Qingyun County, County Government Building.

The atmosphere in the office of the executive deputy county head was so oppressive it was almost palpable.

Gou Tianming was sitting in his boss's chair, his face as gloomy as the sky before a storm.

There were seven or eight cell phones in front of him.

But there wasn't a single film he dared to take on.

Because, since early this morning, he has been receiving a constant stream of phone calls from all sorts of people "caring" for him and "comforting" him.

There were provincial leaders, city colleagues, and township cadres...

Every phone call, though the words were always "County Chief Gou, are you alright?", were filled with an undisguised schadenfreude and gossip.

"Bang!"

Gou Tianming could no longer control his rage and smashed the expensive purple clay teapot on the table to the ground!

"Liu Ming!"

He spat out the name he hated to the core through gritted teeth.

He felt like his lungs were about to explode with anger.

They tried to steal a chicken but ended up losing the rice instead!

He shot himself in the foot.

He now finally understands what it means to bring shame upon oneself.

He just couldn't understand it!

Where exactly did my flawless plan go wrong?

Why did it ultimately turn into such a farce that ruined his reputation?

Just when he was completely baffled...

His confidant, who was also his distant nephew and the office director, Zhao Dezhu, rushed in from outside in a panic.

"Gou... County Magistrate! No... something bad has happened!" Zhao Dezhu's voice was trembling.

"What the hell happened again?" Gou Tianming roared irritably.

"The county...the county discipline inspection commission...received an...anonymous letter of complaint!" Zhao Dezhu said, trembling.

"A whistleblower letter?" A sense of foreboding washed over Gou Tianming. "Who are they reporting?"

"I'm...reporting you..."

"What are you reporting me for?"

"We are reporting you... three years ago, you are suspected of... misappropriating and embezzling... a sum of **poverty alleviation funds** allocated to Heishi Township!"

"boom--!!!"

A single sentence struck Gou Tianming like a bolt from the blue!

His body swayed violently, and he almost fell off the chair!

If the previous "sex scandal" only caused him to lose face and suffer minor damage, then...

Therefore, the charge of "embezzling poverty alleviation funds" is enough to be a fatal blow that plunges him into an abyss of no return.

This is a divine law!

It is a red line that no official can ever cross.

"Impossible! Absolutely impossible!" Gou Tianming screamed. "I covered it up perfectly! All the accounts were balanced! There's no way anyone could know!"

"But...but..." Zhao Dezhu's voice was almost crying. "The whistleblower letter included...detailed financial flow charts...and...a copy of the forged...construction contract you signed back then!"

Gou Tianming's face instantly turned completely bloodless.

He knew he was finished.

This definitely belongs to Liu Mingqian!

That devil!

He not only wants to ruin his own reputation, he also wants to... destroy himself.

No!

Absolutely not! We can't just sit here and wait to die!

A flash of desperate madness suddenly appeared in Gou Tianming's pupils, which had been contracted by fear.

evidence!

Correct!

All we need to do is destroy all the original evidence.

As long as the dead can't prove it!

The disciplinary committee can't do anything about him!

"The ledger! Where is the original ledger?" He grabbed Zhao Dezhu by the collar and roared hysterically.

"In...in the county finance bureau's...archives...locked...locked in the safe..."

"Where's the key?"

"The key...the key...only...only the finance director...has it..."

"Bring him to me! No! No way!" Gou Tianming immediately rejected the idea.

At this critical juncture, going to the finance director would be blatantly telling others that you have a guilty conscience, wouldn't it?

His eyes darted around, and an even more insane and vicious idea surfaced in his mind.

--**set fire!**

However, an "accidental" fire burned the entire archive room to the ground.

Then all the problems will be solved.

"You! Get ready right now!" Gou Tianming lowered his voice, his eyes flashing with a mad, wolf-like light. "Tonight, at midnight! I'm going to make the Finance Bureau's archives disappear from this world completely!"

Zhao Dezhu trembled with fear at his ferocious appearance.

"County...County Magistrate...this...this is...arson...a serious crime..."

"Nonsense!" Gou Tianming slapped him across the face. "Now, do we have any way out? If you don't want to go to jail with me, then fucking do as I say!"

After saying that, he ignored Zhao Dezhu, who was already terrified.

He straightened his collar and tried to make his expression appear as calm as ever.

Then, he opened the office door and went out.

He was going to attend a meeting that had been arranged in advance.

He wanted everyone to see that Gou Tianming was alright.

He is still the executive deputy county head who controls the fate of countless people in Qingyun County.

Night deepened.

A pair of eyes hidden in the darkness were silently watching the office of the executive deputy county head, which was still lit up, inside the county government building.

A cold smile curled at the corners of Liu Ming's lips.

The fish is finally about to bite the hook.

He picked up his phone and dialed a number.

"Director Lei? This is Liu Ming."

"Tonight, there's going to be a good show."
