"puff."

A very dull sound, as if it were being made under a quilt.

On a concealed vantage point above the entrance to Death Valley, a mercenary machine gunner who was scanning the jungle with a thermal imager suddenly froze.

He didn't even have time to utter a sound.

The specially modified .338 Lapua Magnum sniper round, equipped with a silencer, pierced directly into his left temple, blowing off half of his skull, and then, with undiminished momentum, embedded itself deeply into the rock behind him.

Blood and brain matter instantly splattered all over the concealed machine gun position.

The distance is 800 meters, the wind speed is level 3, and the humidity is 85%.

In the primeval jungle where visibility was severely obscured by the dense canopy, this was a blind shot of incredible skill.

"Cleanup complete, passage number one is open."

The Lone Wolf's emotionless voice came through the earpiece. He lay prone on a thick tree branch, his gun still firmly locked on the next target area, his breathing unchanged.

"Received. Begin infiltration."

Liu Ming gave a brief response on the channel.

As the command was given, the giant net of death woven from "dragon teeth" finally revealed its ferocious fangs to the mercenaries in the valley.

……

The second layer of defense is located in the middle of the valley.

The terrain here is flat, and an open area has been cleared out. It's surrounded by barbed wire and riddled with landmines. Two patrol groups of mercenaries, each with a military dog, are moving back and forth.

"What's going on? Why didn't Outpost Number One respond on time?" A squad leader grumbled irritably, pressing his earpiece. "The signal in this crappy place is terrible!"

He was just about to send someone over to check.

suddenly!

"boom!"

A deafening roar erupted less than thirty meters away from them! A massive fireball shot into the sky, sending dirt and debris flying everywhere like shrapnel!

"Enemy attack!!!"

The squad leader roared fiercely. All the mercenaries instantly dropped to the ground, raising their guns and firing wildly in the direction of the explosion.

But there was no one.

Only the Claymore mine, which they themselves had planted, was detonated.

"Hahaha! These idiots! They even managed to trigger the landmines they planted themselves!"

In the darkness, the tank's massive body crawled rapidly along the ground. In his hand was a miniature detonator, Ghost Hand's latest invention. Within a fifty-meter range, it could directly activate this old-fashioned electronic fuse.

"Stop playing around and get to work," Liu Ming's voice rang out in the channel.

"Alright!"

Tank grinned. He sprang up from the ground, the 30-kilogram Gatling gun held at his waist with one hand.

There was no attempt to conceal it.

"Da da da da da!!!"

A metal storm descended instantly! Six gun barrels spun wildly, spitting out tongues of fire nearly a meter long! The terrifying rate of fire of six thousand rounds per minute turned that open area into a veritable meat grinder!

Those mercenaries who were still lying on the ground trying to find the enemy were torn to pieces by this torrent of metal before they could even see where the enemy was! Limbs and torsos were thrown high into the air along with the dirt, and blood mist filled the entire second defensive perimeter.

Head-on confrontation! Absolute firepower suppression!

"Fuck! It's a heavy machine gun! The enemy has heavy firepower! Requesting air defense support!"

The few remaining mercenaries on the other side were terrified and screamed into the walkie-talkie.

However, they did not receive support from anti-aircraft missiles.

What came was a faint, sweet breeze.

"Cough cough... What's this smell?"

A mercenary who was about to throw a grenade suddenly stopped. He rubbed his eyes hard, his vision blurring. The familiar trees and rocks around him twisted into all sorts of hideous monsters.

"Monster! Monster! Don't come any closer!"

He screamed in terror and fired his automatic rifle indiscriminately.

"Are you crazy! You're one of us!" His companion next to him was shot in the thigh and fell to the ground screaming.

But the mercenary who fired the shot was completely deaf. His pupils dilated rapidly, his eyes were bloodshot, and white foam dripped from the corner of his mouth. In his hallucination, his fallen comrades were turning into zombies and lunging at him.

"Aaaaah! Die!"

He pulled out the dagger from his waist and stabbed his wounded companion madly.

"This is... a neurotoxin! Quick, put on your gas masks!"

Eventually someone realized what was happening, but it was too late.

Upwind, the Poison Doctor stood on a large tree, holding a sprayer and evenly spraying a pale blue liquid into the air, letting the night wind carry it into the enemy's position.

This was a "hallucinogen" he specially formulated for this jungle warfare. Just a tiny amount inhaled could instantly damage the central nervous system, plunging people into the deepest fear and hallucinations, making them unable to distinguish friend from foe.

"Enjoy it, this is an extra treat for you."

The Poison Doctor pushed up his glasses with a cold smile, looking down at the group of mercenaries below who had completely gone mad and started killing each other.

This was not a battle at all. It was a one-sided massacre, a symphony meticulously choreographed by "Dragon Fang".

The lone wolf's targeted sniping. The tank's overwhelming firepower. The Poison Doctor's hallucinatory hell.

In addition, vultures, like ghosts, reap the rewards of those who try to escape in the darkness.

The "Scorpion" mercenary group, infamous internationally and self-proclaimed as elite, had its defenses completely collapse in just ten minutes!

The entire perimeter of Death Valley had become a living hell. The screams of mercenaries, the gunfire of infighting, and the desperate howls of those trapped in hallucinations intertwined, creating a chilling atmosphere.

Liu Ming, as the commander, did not fire a single shot from beginning to end.

He was like a spectator strolling through his own backyard, walking through the blood-stained jungle, step by step, toward the core cave located deep in the valley.

He looked at the few flashing searchlights at the entrance of the cave not far away.

Feeling the increasingly strong smell of gunpowder in the air.

He knew that his "old friend" from three years ago was waiting for him inside.
