Peninsula: From Water Injection to Stardom

Chapter 112 The Battle of the Top Stars? An Enemy from the Sky

At 9 p.m. New York time, the one-hour Victoria's Secret Fashion Show came to an end.

Although the complete stage recording has been completed, it will still take some time for people other than the audience members present to see the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

That's right, it was recorded, but the global broadcast time is December 8th, US local time, which is one month later.

The audience and media present that day all abided by the organizer's rules and did not secretly film clips or leak them online.

However, a lot of text messages still circulated after the night ended, praising how good this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was and how great the performances of the guest performers were.

In any case, all kinds of media outlets praised it lavishly.

This move is obviously intended to raise everyone's expectations for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, so that more people will tune in to watch the premiere on time.

After finishing filming that day, Jiang Yan said a brief goodbye to the group of supermodels and returned to her hotel to rest.

Then, early the next morning, he took a plane back to South Korea.

After returning, I still managed to get some sleep that same day to adjust to the time difference.

The next day, he resumed production on the Chinese single that had been interrupted.

Jackson Wang recently took on a Chinese variety show called "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator," so he went back to China to film it.

This also led to Jiang Zhennan not going to the club these past few days. Instead, every night after returning to the Yuehua dormitory, he would ask Xu Minghao to play L0.

L.

The two met through Jiang Yan's matchmaking. Since they were both bad at the game but addicted to it, they might as well let them duo queue and torture each other.

However, after spending two or three days in South Korea, he returned to China.

The cover shoot for the main issue of "Officiel Hommes" previously given to Tiffany by Tiffany is now underway.

However, on the same day he returned to China, Tiffany's official Weibo account officially announced Jiang Yan's status as a brand ambassador.

[When vibrant musical notes meet dazzling light, Tiffany welcomes multi-talented musician @JiangYan to the Tiffany family as a brand ambassador.]

His exceptional musical talent and artistic charisma have infused the dazzling world of Tiffany with fresh inspiration. We look forward to working together in the future to create more beautiful chapters about love and romance.

Wear the #TiffanyLock# collection together to interpret boldness and freedom in a modern context, lock in your true self, and fearlessly defy definitions.

It was just a few short sentences, but the news caused a huge uproar after it spread within the country.

What the heck?! Jiang Yan actually got a luxury brand title?!

Even if it's just a brand ambassador in Greater China, and not some kind of red or blue blood, Tiffany is still a top-tier luxury jewelry brand whose status is no less than Cartier or Bulgari.

This seems completely unreasonable to fans of top-tier celebrities!

Even their older brother doesn't have a top-tier luxury brand title yet, but Jiang Yan, who isn't even in the entertainment industry, has one first.

Among the current top celebrities in China, Li Yifeng has a brand ambassadorship for TAG Heuer in Greater China, Luhan only has a Puma Asia brand ambassadorship, and Wu Jiaheng (Chris) is said to have secured an endorsement deal with Adidas Originals, but that's just a side project.

Apart from that, none of the other so-called top celebrities have any decent endorsements.

In this context, Jiang Yan, a close friend of the Tiffany brand, stands out conspicuously.

"How did Jiang Yan end up endorsing Tiffany? Is he really that famous?!"

"Speechless. In terms of fame in China, he's nowhere near as famous as our Qianqian!!!"

"It can't be just because she walked in a Victoria's Secret show, can it? What's so great about that? We could walk in one if we wanted to!"

"He's just a close friend. Our Lu Ge also collaborates with Cartier, so getting the title will be a piece of cake for him. It's nothing special."

The fans of Meigeni and Luwei are the first to feel a bit sour.

Our family members are top-tier celebrities who returned from a "top idol group," so how come our endorsements can't compare to those of this person from a washed-up group?

Why should that be?

That same day, fans from both sides directly confronted the teams behind their idols on Weibo, accusing them of not putting in enough effort and hindering their idols' career development.

On the other hand, fans of other top celebrities who didn't get involved, such as Honeybees, Woolfolks, and Clover fans, were actually feeling uncomfortable even though they were just watching the drama unfold.

I thought the battle for top spot would be between the four big names and the three small ones, but suddenly an enemy appeared out of nowhere.

Now, they couldn't help but pay attention to Jiang Yan, who wasn't involved in the entertainment industry but whose endorsement deals were something even they envied.

As for Feli in China, they naturally cheered on Weibo after seeing the official announcement.

It feels so good to become a fan of Jiang Yan.

She has outstanding achievements and endorsements, and her overseas popularity is constantly expanding. She is not someone those top celebrities who are only stuck in domestic infighting can compete with.

Feli in China has broadened its horizons. They know that their development is no longer limited to China and South Korea, but has expanded overseas.

Inside a hotel suite in Shanghai, Jiang Yan was sitting on the sofa scrolling through Weibo.

After arriving and checking in in the afternoon, he first used his main account to retweet Tiffany's Weibo post, and then switched to his secondary account to browse Weibo for a while.

But after watching for only a short while, there was a knock on the door from the outside.

Jiang Yan got up and opened the door. Unsurprisingly, it was Jiang Zhennan who came in.

"The latest response from Hunan TV is that they've changed the terms of the collaboration," Jiang Zhennan reported directly upon entering.

Previously, Hunan TV planned to invite Jiang Yan to the New Year's Eve gala, but after negotiations between the two teams, they failed to reach an agreement.

The higher-ups at Hunan TV still intended for BIGBANG to be the final act, so Jiang Yan naturally declined the invitation.

He won't give people an extra boost in status for no reason.

However, Hunan TV did not give up on reaching a cooperation agreement with him, so they took the initiative to contact him again, saying that the New Year's Eve Gala was no longer in the discussion, but they still had the Lunar New Year's Eve Gala.

So now, they want Jiang Yan to be a guest performer on the Spring Festival Gala.

The appearance fee is also very high, 500 million for three songs, and it doesn't have to be the finale.

This offer basically means that if you're willing to come, we'll pay you.

Although this price is a bit less than BIGBANG's 6 million yuan appearance fee for the midnight finale, it's something Hunan TV had been eagerly anticipating.

Hunan TV: It's different!

Jiang Yan was quite satisfied with the quote and said without much thought, "Let's negotiate based on this quote. By the way, talk to President Du later and see if we should squeeze a spot into UNIQ."

BIGBANG can give IKON a spot for the New Year's Eve Gala, and they can give UNIQ a spot for the Lunar New Year's Eve Gala.

Leaving or going left is just a matter of convenience.

"Okay, I'll talk to Mr. Du about it later."

Jiang Zhennan was not surprised by this. As the current "Number One Male Artist of Yuehua Entertainment", it is normal for Jiang Yan to distribute the resources he does not need to other artists in the company.

Besides, Jiang Zhennan is currently living with the members of UNIQ in the Yuehua dormitory, and they get along quite well. It wouldn't hurt to lend him a hand.
