Peninsula: From Water Injection to Stardom

Chapter 136 NFL Invitation to Promote Ambassadors

It has to be said that being in the same dressing room as Lee Ji-eun makes things a bit busier.

That means many celebrities will come to visit and say hello.

After the two sides started chatting, someone would come to visit every now and then.

Although on the surface they came to visit the two of them, Jiang Yan could tell at a glance that they were mainly there for Lee Ji-eun.

When he was alone in the lounge before, although some people would come over, it was definitely not as many times as today.

After a few waves of people came, Jiang Yan got a little annoyed and made an excuse to leave the lounge.

As he walked out into the corridor, he happened to see a celebrity whose back looked somewhat familiar chatting and laughing with another female idol he didn't recognize in a corner.

As Jiang Yan passed by the two, he took a closer look and immediately recognized them.

Wow, isn't this a ground-based artillery piece?

After realizing someone had walked past him, Park Chanyeol turned around and his eyes met Jiang Yan's.

Seeing this, Jiang Yan simply nodded slightly, smiled at him, and immediately started walking away.

There's no need for greetings or anything like that. He's kind-hearted, so he won't disturb the other person chatting and flirting with the female idol.

Unless he runs into Brother Hard Work today, he might stop and chat for a bit, but that's unlikely, because Brother Hard Work wasn't involved in this music show at all; he's currently developing his career in China.

Furthermore, he has no feelings for the other members of EXO and sees no need to chat with them.

Fun fact: future fans might bring up the fact that Tian Guo watches My Hero Academia, but little do they know, Dorothy also loves watching it.

Meeting Park Chanyeol was just a coincidence; I didn't run into anyone I knew after that.

He actually wanted to chat with PSY for a bit, but unfortunately, YG's top artists don't rest in the dressing room when they come to promote their songs. Instead, they all rest in their vans and only get out of the vans when it's time to record.

The reason for doing this is said to be that YG at that time still believed in some kind of mysticism about trenches.

Jiang Yan, as a foreigner, does not understand.

After wandering around outside for about ten minutes, Jiang Yan returned to the lounge.

After waiting inside for another half hour, the TV station staff finally came to inform us of the rehearsal.

Jiang Yan and Li Zhi'en both got up and, after their respective stylists checked their outfits one last time, left the dressing room one after the other and headed to the MC's waiting room to record their interviews.

The three-day special stage recording was relatively uneventful. However, during this period, following the broadcast of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Jiang Yanxin's commercial collaborations came one after another.

The most significant collaboration was the endorsement of Valentino.

Previously, Valentino sponsored Jiang Yan's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show haute couture outfits, and now, after several rounds of negotiations between the two teams, a collaboration has finally been finalized.

Jiang Yan will become Valentino's first ready-to-wear brand ambassador in the Asia-Pacific region next year, with an endorsement fee of US$300 million.

This endorsement price is quite average among European and American celebrities, but Jiang Yan is only just beginning to make a name for herself in Europe and America, so this price is perfectly acceptable.

The contract signing is scheduled for next month because there are still issues regarding compensation that haven't been resolved.

But the good news doesn't stop there.

Tiffany has also reached an agreement on cooperation.

His original title of "Brand Ambassador for Greater China" will be upgraded to "Brand Spokesperson for Greater China" next April. He will also attend the new product launch event, which is expected to be held in Yanjing next June.

Having secured two top luxury brand endorsements in one go, Jiang Yan has been in a great mood these past two days.

But he soon realized that he had been too happy.

"Holy crap, I have some good news."

Inside the van, Jiang Zhennan, who had just finished a phone call, turned to Jiang Yan from the passenger seat and spoke in a very excited tone.

"Tell me, what good news is it now?" Jiang Yan was somewhat immune to the word "good news" from him now.

"You know the NFL, right?"

"I know, it's a big national football tournament in the US, but what does that have to do with me?"

The NFL is a national phenomenon in the United States, and the Super Bowl halftime show is also a gathering place for top European and American stars.

But this kind of platform is not a resource he can access at this stage. He hasn't even signed with an American company yet, so how could he possibly have access to such resources?

"The company just received an email from the United States, from the NFL. They've extended a formal invitation to you to be this year's promotional ambassador, and they'll also invite you to perform on the pre-season stage," Jiang Zhennan relayed the message he had just received in detail.

Jiang Yan paused for a moment after hearing this.

NFL ambassador? Isn't this Wu Jiaheng's future international asset?

Of course, this sounds impressive, but it's actually just a relatively unimportant resource.

The promotional ambassadors are not allowed to appear in the halftime show; they will appear on another official event called SuperBowlLIVE.

(Super Bowl Live) is a stage used to promote the NFL.

However, this event will also provide some overseas exposure, which will be very useful for Jiang Yan in the past.

"I'll take this on. Have Yuehua take over immediately." Jiang Yan said this almost without any hesitation.

There's no option not to go; for him now, every international resource that brings exposure is useful.

Moreover, once this identity is finalized with the NFL, Jiang Yan will immediately have Yuehua Entertainment buy him trending topics for marketing purposes.

There's no reason not to leverage the NFL's name for a major marketing campaign, which would elevate his status in China to a new level.

"Is there any other good news? Can we tell you all at once?" Jiang Yan asked proactively.

"Well, that's all for now. But there is one more thing. Didn't you promise to give Lee Ji-eun a few tickets? Do you want to keep a few more for yourself?"

"Sure, talk to the company and ask them to reserve about a dozen VIP tickets for me."

"OK."

Jiang Zhennan didn't need to ask Jiang Yan who he was going to leave it for; he could probably guess who it was.

He turned and picked up his phone to send messages to people at Yuehua Entertainment, but while sending messages, Jiang Zhennan said "0" without looking up.

"Hey, you still haven't given me a definite answer about watching the game the other day. Who else is going? I called Xu Minghao and the others."

When asked this, Jiang Yan shook his head and said, "I haven't told you yet. Wait a minute, I'll ask you now."

Jiang Yan took out his phone from his pocket, skillfully opened Kakao, and then opened the chat window with Mina, edited a message, and sent it out.

The message received a reply in less than a minute.

However, when Jiang Yan finished reading what Mina had replied, he frowned slightly.
