This is one of the practice rooms in JYP's training building, as revealed in SIXTEEN.

The temporary team MajorA, consisting of Mina, Jeongyeon, Nayeon, and Chaeryeong, is choreographing the dance "happy" for their first performance in a few days.

They rehearsed there for over half an hour, modifying their movements based on their feelings, before finally stopping to rest.

All four of them were sweating a bit by now, and they sat together on the wooden floor to continue discussing the shortcomings of the choreography they had just done.

While they were chattering away, the door to the practice room was gently opened.

Jiang Yan pushed open the door and slowly walked in. Seeing the four people sitting there, he smiled and asked, "Hmm, are there only the four of you here?"

The four women turned around at the sound of the noise, and their expressions were full of surprise when they saw Jiang Yan.

Yoo Jeongyeon stood up and leaned closer, asking with a mixture of surprise and delight, "Oppa?! Why are you here so early?!"

Jiang Yan smiled and retorted, "What, aren't you happy that I came so early?"

He flew back to Seoul the day before yesterday afternoon and immediately contacted JYP. The two sides agreed on the rehearsal dates for the collaborative stage, which will begin tonight.

"Ani, I'm just so surprised!"

Yu Dingyan quickly shook her head; how could she not welcome Jiang Yan?

Jiang Yan then turned his gaze to Lim Nayeon, who was staring at him, and said with a smile, "Nayeon, why aren't you saying anything when you see me after so long?"

After being called upon, Lim Nayeon smiled, revealing her signature bunny teeth, and said, "Oppa, long time no see~"

But her appearance caused Mina and Chaeryeong, who were standing nearby, to suddenly have a misconception.

Lim Na-yeon, who used to have a strong boss-like demeanor, seems to have become like an obedient rabbit in front of Kang Yeon.

Seeing that Lim Nayeon greeted him, Kang Yeon then said to Mina, "Mina, it's been a long time since we last saw each other after filming the music video, hasn't it?"

"Yes, because oppa is too busy." Mina said, then smiled slightly at Kang Yan.

Although the two did not meet in person, they maintained contact online.

After greeting Mina, Jiang Yan finally turned his attention to Li Cailing.

"Hello, Senior Jiang Yan, my name is Li Cailing."

Unlike the other three who appeared composed, Li Cailing bowed respectfully to Jiang Yan, even using polite language.

This is normal, though, as of the four people present, only Li Cailing and Jiang Yan were meeting for the first time.

Jiang Yan didn't put on airs and said gently to the other party, "Hello, I've seen your performance on the show, it was very good."

Li Cailing was flattered by the compliment and replied, "Thank you for the compliment, senior."

After exchanging greetings with the four people present, Jiang Yan turned to Yu Dingyan and the others and continued, "I overheard your discussion at the door just now. Were you rehearsing for the song you'd be using in the next competition?"

Yoo Jeongyeon nodded and said, "Yes, but since oppa is here, we'll stop practicing for now."

Jiang Yan waved his hand and said, "No need, it's still your rehearsal time."

JYP scheduled his time for after midnight, but it's only around 10 o'clock now.

The reason he came so early was simply to check on Yu Dingyan and the others.

"Is oppa going to wait here?" Yoo Jeongyeon continued to ask.

"If you feel that my presence here is a distraction, I can go to the gym next door," Jiang Yan asked.

Actually, he didn't necessarily have to stay here and wait; he could go to other places on this floor.

"No, oppa is right here."

"Then I'll go sit over there. You guys can continue after you've rested."

Jiang Yan nodded upon hearing this, glanced around the practice room, and then sat down on a chair against the wall.

Then, he took out his phone, held it horizontally in his hand, and started swiping the screen with his eyes down.

After resting for a few more minutes, Yu Dingyan and the others returned to the mirror, lined up, and continued rehearsing.

The music started playing again, but the four of them were still a little reserved at first.

After all, with Jiang Yan sitting next to them, they always felt uncomfortable being stared at.

However, as they continued dancing, the four of them gradually returned their attention to the movements and positioning, and became as focused as before.

Jiang Yan didn't really watch their rehearsals much.

He sat there playing mobile games, only occasionally glancing up at the four people in front of the mirror, but after a few seconds he would look down again.

After a while, the four of them practiced there for almost an hour, their clothes soaked with sweat.

After completing another formation change, Lim Nayeon took a breath and waved her hand, saying, "I'm exhausted, let's rest for five minutes."

Upon hearing this, the other three also stopped what they were doing.

Everyone was exhausted, so they each went to the wall, picked up their water bottles, and took a few sips.

After pausing for a moment, Minami's gaze couldn't help but drift in a certain direction.

Jiang Yan was staring intently at his phone, his two thumbs rapidly tapping the screen.

Mina was very curious about what the other person was playing, but after thinking about it, she restrained the urge to go over and take a look.

However, at the same time, Lee Chaeryeong, who was standing close to Lim Nayeon and Yoo Jeongyeon, glanced at Kang Yeon and then whispered to the two of them, "Unnie, shouldn't we ask Kang Yeon sunbaenim to help us with the choreography?"

Her words made Lim Na-yeon, who was still drinking water, choke.

Similarly, Yoo Jeong-yeon's face also showed a subtle expression after hearing this.

But Li Cailing didn't notice the change in their expressions and continued, "Since you're so capable, you must know what kind of stage effects are good. If we ask you to point out some problems that we can't see—"

However, before she could finish speaking, Lim Nayeon suddenly interrupted her in a somewhat hurried tone, "Chaeryeong, let's not trouble oppa, let's wait for the dance teacher to come tomorrow and have the teacher help us."

Yoo Jeongyeon, unusually, chimed in, "Yeah, and oppa isn't an artist under the company, so let him stay put and don't bother him."

Lee Chaeryeong opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but when she met the eyes of the two unnies, she vaguely sensed that something was wrong, so she had to swallow her words.

Mina, standing to the side, watched this scene with a hint of doubt in her eyes.

She carefully observed Lim Nayeon and then looked at Yoo Jeongyeon, noticing that although the two of them said they didn't want to trouble Kang Yeon, their expressions clearly showed a bit of nervousness.

It seemed that she didn't want Jiang Yan's help at all.

This puzzled Mina. They seemed to know each other very well, so why was she unwilling to ask for the other's help?
