Peninsula: From Water Injection to Stardom

In South Korea, due to certain conflicts, it is generally accepted that men and women split the bill when they go out to eat.

Jiang Yan had heard that some well-known male celebrities who had been in the industry for several years would split the bill when they went out to eat with their girlfriends, and some would even skip out on the bill.

It's not that splitting the bill is bad; he personally strongly supports this approach.

But skipping out on the bill was a bit outrageous, which shocked him when he heard it.

Can Korean men really be this picky?

As a hospitable old man, Jiang Yan wasn't short of money, so he was the one who paid for the meal from the beginning.

"That's not a good idea."

After hearing Jiang Yan's words, Quan Xiaosheng's expression became a little unnatural. She felt embarrassed to let a junior treat her.

"It's okay, I've asked IU before." Jiang Yan knew what the other person was worried about, so he gave her a way out.

"...Then you can order, I'm fine with anything."

After thinking for a moment, Jeon Hyo-sung seemed to accept the fact that the other party was treating him, and handed the menu to Kang Yeon.

"Okay, are there any dietary restrictions?" Jiang Yanxian asked after taking the menu again, ordering a few dishes with practiced ease.

"No, but I can't eat greasy food."

"Okay, then let's keep it light."

We quickly ordered the food in a few minutes, and the waiter left the private room.

"What's your opinion on the female lead in the music video, senior?" Jiang Yan asked, looking at the other person.

After exchanging pleasantries, he got straight to the point.

"I want to know, why did Jiang Yanxi choose to find me?" Quan Xiaosheng didn't answer directly, but looked at him curiously and asked in return.

"Hmm... because I think you're a perfect fit, especially when I started considering who would be in the music video after finishing the song, you were the first person I thought of."

He really didn't know how to answer that question. He couldn't just say directly that he was only interested in you because of your good figure; that would be too tactless.

"You thought of me first?!" Jeon Hyosung was somewhat surprised by the answer.

"Yes." Jiang Yan nodded without changing his expression.

"If I agree, when will filming begin?"

"Which days recently are you free of schedule, senior?"

"I have no scheduled activities for the past two weeks."

"Once the contract is signed, we will begin immediately."

"So fast?!"

Jeon Hyosung looked quite surprised when he heard the answer.

Jiang Yan explained, "The filming team has already completed their preliminary work in the past few days."

During the few days he returned to China, Jiang Zhennan stayed in South Korea to help him advance this matter, including contacting the camera crew and renting equipment.

Having seemingly finished asking the questions she wanted to know, Jeon Hyosung readily gave her reply: "In that case, I'm really looking forward to working with Kang Yeon-ssi this time."

Jiang Yan smiled and said, "I am also very grateful to you for accepting my invitation, senior."

"Oh my, you don't have to keep calling me senior."

"Then, why is Xiaosheng angry?"

"Okay, let's call it that."

After finishing their business, the two began to talk about other topics.

However, while we were chatting, the dishes we had ordered were brought out one by one by the waiter.

Jiang Yan pointed to a plate of pasta that had been served and said, "The pasta at this restaurant is pretty good. Nuna, give it a try."

Jeon Hyosung took a small bite, smiled, and nodded, replying, "Yes, it's really delicious."

The two continued eating and chatting, and the atmosphere was very harmonious.

After lunch, once the two sides parted ways, Jiang Yan immediately notified CUBE to send a formal collaboration invitation email to Jeon Hyosung's company, TS Entertainment.

……

On July 6, Nivea Men's official Weibo account announced that Jiang Yan would be the spokesperson for its skincare brand.

He rose from the ashes in his career, demonstrating his abilities; in life, he is free-spirited and unrestrained, showcasing his true charm—this perfectly aligns with Nivea Men's brand philosophy of "Strong and Stylish."

Starting today, Jiang Yan will join hands with NIVEA Men to unlock the secrets of skincare technology, awaken your skin's "inner universe," and help you become a stylish man with both strength and good looks!

With this official announcement, it naturally became a trending topic on Weibo that day.

Similarly, fans of other celebrities in the domestic fandom also noticed Jiang Yan.

We can't afford to be careless; Neiyu's fans are very sensitive about endorsements.

However, after a closer look, they learned that the new spokesperson for Nivea Men was not a member of the Nivea Men organization, and they immediately lowered their guard.

As long as they're not on the same track as their brothers, it's fine.

However, some people got to know Jiang Yan through this trending topic, were attracted by his good looks, and then followed his official Weibo account.

As for Jiang Yan's fans, they naturally flocked to the official announcement's Weibo post to flood the comments section.

"A clash of titans: NIVEA Men x Jiang Yan – anticipation is off the charts!"

Congratulations to Yanbao on unlocking her new identity! #flowers #flowers #flowers

"I was just about to buy skincare products for my boyfriend, Nivea, you really know how to choose spokespeople!"

"This collaboration is a match made in heaven!"

"..."

On the day of the official announcement, Jiang Yan also checked Weibo through her main account and left a comment.

However, after finishing this task, he quit Weibo because he was about to start filming a music video.

Yesterday, Kang Yeon and Jeon Hyo-sung's team flew together from South Korea to Hawaii, the filming location for this music video.

Upon arrival, we checked into a hotel together, but we didn't film anything that day. Instead, we went for a drive around to explore and find good spots.

Select some filming locations and do some pre-shoot communication with the locals.

In fact, Jiang Yan did not write any complicated plot in the music video for "That's What I Like".

It's simply a script about how a handsome, rich playboy pursues a girl, with the camera switching between locations like villas, beaches, and highways.

Right now, Jiang Yan is wearing beach shorts and standing under the shade of a tree on the beach, waiting.

His filming crew was gathered together, discussing the shot design for the upcoming scene at this location.

And Jeon Hyo-sung, the female lead, had also changed into a bikini and was standing not far from him.

After giving it a brief, appreciative look, Jiang Yan looked away.

He doesn't let his mind wander when he's working.

After about ten minutes, the team had finished their discussion and allowed Jiang Yan and Quan Xiaosheng to enter the filming area.

There's not much to film on the beach; it's just the male and female leads playing beach volleyball, surfing, and having fun, interspersed with some close-up shots of their bodies at the end.

The entire shoot took less than an hour, and this part was finished.

After a short rest, the group returned to their respective cars and headed to the next filming location.

The filming for the day was temporarily completed as evening approached.

The rest of the photos will be taken tomorrow, since they'll be staying here for three or four days, so they have plenty of time.
