American comic book: Scarlet Witch's Multiverse

Chapter 5: Finally Meeting, 1 Million?

Within ten seconds, the two sides met.

The moment they met, neither side exchanged a single word and immediately began fighting.

Ethan hid behind a corner, leaning against the wall, only peeking out with his head, cautiously observing.

In other words, only Tony Stark was exposed to the group of robbers.

"Clang! Clang! Clang!"

The clanging sound echoed continuously and clearly throughout the cave.

These bullets had no effect on the steel armor.

Tony Stark simply braved the hail of bullets and walked towards the robbers.

Upon seeing this, the robbers were so frightened that they retreated.

"No retreating! Retreating means death!"

The gang leader, a bald man with no hair, roared as he fired at Tony Stark while watching his trembling underlings trying to back away.

Hearing their leader's angry roar, the group of underlings stopped retreating.

There were surveillance cameras at the cave entrance, and they saw what their boss was facing outside, and even what their boss didn't see.

Those were the men who went out with the boss; they all died silently.

As if a demon had stolen his soul, he collapsed to the ground.

That terrifying scene filled them with fear.

That was a phenomenon they couldn't understand, but the current situation, while equally dangerous, is one they can understand.

It wouldn't give you that creepy feeling.

Tony Stark looked at the group of robbers who refused to back down and chuckled, "Is that so? Then die."

With a sudden burst of force, the speed increased slightly, but that was enough.

"call out!"

Tony Stark raised his hands, and then his armored arms suddenly erupted with intense flames.

"Aaaaaah...!!"

"It hurts...it hurts so much!!"

"Help! Help!"

Even amidst the extreme pain, the fear was temporarily suppressed.

The group of robbers had just started to run away, and had just taken one step.

"boom!"

A rocket came whizzing past them from behind.

Then came a deafening explosion.

After an explosion, all the robbers were wiped out instantly.

Looking at the sparks of light in front of him and the bodies flying everywhere, Tony Stark turned to look at Ethan.

"Alright, Ethan, follow me."

After saying that, Tony Stark walked out of the cave first, and Ethan, who had been called, followed closely behind Tony Stark.

The two walked one after the other through the silent tunnel.

After walking for a while, Tony Stark asked in confusion, "Where did they go?!"

What's happening outside?

"Tony, be careful."

Ethan, meanwhile, was reminding Tony Stark from behind.

Before long, the two finally saw the sunlight and the cave entrance.

The moment the two stepped into the cave entrance, before they could even see what was happening outside...

"Finally out."

A voice rang out from their left.

"who!!"

Tony Stark turned around in shock towards the direction from which the sound came.

There, leaning against the wall, was a woman with long, crimson hair, a beautiful face, and wearing a black jumpsuit.

This person is Wanda.

"Who are you?!"

Tony Stark watched Wanda warily, his hand still poised as if to set her on fire.

The appearance of such a beautiful woman in the heart of a terrorist stronghold in Afghanistan seems highly unusual.

"You can call me Wanda. As for why I'm here, it's to save you."

Wanda leaned against the wall, turned to look at Tony Stark in his Iron Man armor, and said.

"Help me?!"

Tony Stark breathed a slight sigh of relief upon hearing Wanda's words; it seemed she wasn't an enemy for the time being.

"That's not funny, young lady. I got out of here on my own. Why would I need you to save me?" Tony said, looking at Wanda with amusement.

"Tony, what do you think?"

At this moment, Ethan reached out and patted Tony Stark, who was wearing Iron Man armor, and pointed to the group of robbers outside that Wanda had dealt with, and said.

Tony Stark looked in the direction Ethan was pointing and saw a group of corpses, numbering in the dozens.

"How is it?!"

Wanda looked in the direction Ethan was pointing and said to Tony Stark, "I've taken care of them, and I've been waiting for you here."

"Then why didn't you just go in and save me? That would have earned you more of my favor and gratitude." Tony Stark asked, puzzled and completely baffled.

They've already killed so many people; they could have just gone in to save him. Why wait outside?

Wouldn't going in to rescue him earn more of his gratitude and favor? Waiting outside for him to break through on his own would likely result in a weaker sense of gratitude compared to rescuing him in person.

Of course, he would repay the favor of saving him, but he was a little puzzled as to why he chose this method, which would only lead to further explanations after he got out. Wasn't that troublesome?

"If I go in, your armor will have been built for nothing. Isn't this giving you a chance to use it?"

"I've taken care of things outside, otherwise, you and he might not be able to break out of here! Is this a enough favor?" Wanda pointed to his armor and said calmly.

Upon hearing Wanda's words, Tony Stark was slightly taken aback, then understood. He glanced at the bodies of the terrorists outside and said, "You're right, I forgot about Ethan."

"This is an incredibly big favor you've done me. How can I possibly repay you?"

Although he was confident he could break through and get out of there, he wasn't so sure about taking Ethan with him. There were dozens of terrorists, and it seemed they might even have rocket launchers. With Ethan, a mere mortal with no defenses, he couldn't and dared not guarantee Ethan's safety.

Therefore, the person in front of him truly owed him a huge favor. Ethan was his savior; without him, he might have died long ago. He would not allow anything to happen to Ethan.

"Forget about repaying me. I came to rescue you to make money anyway, so just give me some money."

Wanda waved her hand and said.

He refused Tony Stark's offer of a reward.

"Oh, money? That's easy to talk about. I thought it was something serious. How much do you want? One hundred million, two hundred million, or three hundred million?"

Upon hearing Wanda's words, Tony Stark immediately displayed his magnanimous side.

Money is nothing to him; he has plenty of it. He thought it was a big deal, and that anything that could be solved with money wasn't a problem.

Wanda smiled slightly when she heard Tony Stark's offer.
