You went on a blind date and presented an A-level wanted criminal as a meeting gift?

The next day, Monday.

7:45 a.m.

Morning rush hour.

The entire city's traffic came to a standstill in the same second.

Traffic lights at all intersections in the central urban area turned green simultaneously.

All directions.

All lanes.

All green.

First minute—

Before the drivers could react, they assumed it was a normal traffic light malfunction, and several vehicles hesitated before crossing the intersection.

Second minute—

The first accident occurred at the intersection of Yan'an Road and Zhongshan Road, where a bus and a taxi collided head-on in the middle of the intersection.

Third minute—

The whole city was in an uproar.

More than 40 rear-end collisions and side-impact accidents occurred within three minutes at 17 major intersections in the city center.

There were no deaths, but numerous minor injuries.

Even more fatally, the accident vehicles blocked all the main roads, creating a chain reaction of congestion.

Seven minutes later.

The entire transportation system in the central area of Jiangcheng City is completely dead.

All the roads were turned into parking lots.

Ambulances can't get in, and fire trucks can't get out.

The city bureau's command center was in complete chaos.

Su Qingge stood in front of the command screen, where the real-time city traffic map was completely red, almost purple.

"Traffic Management Center Reports—System compromised, all terminals locked, passwords altered, manual control unrecoverable!"

"Eastern District Police Station reports—Twenty-three traffic accidents have occurred in the jurisdiction, requiring a large number of police officers to manage the traffic!"

"A call from the city center bank—an armored truck is stuck on Nanjing Road, and the convoy has lost contact with the command center!"

Su Qingge's temples were throbbing.

Just as she was about to issue the dispatch order, a voice that did not belong to anyone suddenly cut in to the communication channel of the command center.

Voice alteration processing.

Low and composed. Like a stage actor reciting Shakespeare on stage.

"Officers."

Everyone stopped moving.

"Look at the order you're so proud of. Red light means stop, green light means go. Simple rules that provide you with all your sense of security."

"But I only need to lift a finger, and your order becomes a joke."

A soft laugh came from behind the voice changer.

"Currently, there is a cash transport vehicle with 1 billion yuan in cash on Nanjing Road in the city center. The security forces are blocked by a traffic accident, and the vehicle cannot move."

"Go and save them, if you can fly."

The channel was cut off.

The command center was in an uproar.

"A provocation! This is a complete provocation against the Jiangcheng police!"

Su Qingge slammed her fist on the table.

"All available police forces, immediately assemble towards Nanjing Road!"

Don't go.

The voice behind her interrupted her.

Lin Chen was already standing next to the command platform at some point.

He stared at the shocking red color on the big screen, his face showing neither anxiety nor anger.

Only an unusual calmness.

"Prajna is not a robber."

He pointed to the location of the armored truck on the map, and then to the location of the municipal police headquarters building.

"His resource network spans the arms and biochemical fields. A billion dollars in cash is nothing to him. The armored truck is the bait."

Su Qingge was stunned for a second.

"His name is Prajna? You mean he's using a feint?"

"Paralyze the city's traffic, create panic, and draw all police resources to Nanjing Road."

Lin Chen pointed his finger to a spot in the basement of the Municipal Public Security Bureau headquarters.

"His real target is here."

Basement level, Section B.

Top Secret Evidence Room.

It contains a batch of confidential data hard drives seized in a multinational joint operation last year, involving the financial chains and upstream information of Southeast Asia's largest drug cartel network.

These hard drives have not yet been fully decrypted and are strictly sealed in a safe in the evidence room.

"The hard drive contains what he wants."

Lin Chen's tone was firm.

Su Qingge's expression changed.

She didn't press Lin Chen about how he deduced that.

She had learned that when Lin Chen made a judgment, all she had to do was execute it.

"Change the deployment! Half of the police force will maintain order on Nanjing Road, and the other half will come with me to headquarters!"

"Too late."

Lin Chen had already snatched Su Qingge's car keys.

It wasn't her military jeep.

It's his RS7.

"The journey from Jianshe Road to the Municipal Bureau normally takes twelve minutes, but now the entire city is completely blocked, and it takes at least forty minutes to detour."

Just as Su Qingge was about to speak, Lin Chen opened the car door.

"I took the abandoned railway line in the north of the city."

"That line was dismantled a long time ago; the road surface is full of gravel and broken rails..."

The RS7's engine roared as it launched forward, its taillights stretching into a red line in Su Qingge's vision.

Exit of the underground parking garage.

Lin Chen turned the steering wheel all the way.

The front of the car passed precisely through the height restriction bar at the parking lot exit, with the roof of the car less than two centimeters from the bar.

After exiting the garage, I turned left onto a main road that was completely blocked by the accident vehicles.

A hundred meters ahead, vehicles lying haphazardly and their distraught drivers formed a steel Great Wall.

An ordinary person would turn around if they saw this kind of road condition.

Lin Chen floored the accelerator.

[God-level driving skills] - Full power start.

The RS7's four-wheel drive system redistributes torque in the same second.

The car body cut into the gap of less than 1.2 meters between the two buses at an angle that defied common sense. The right-side rearview mirror folded automatically the moment it passed through, and sparks flew as the car's paint scraped against the metal of the buses.

through!

Fifty meters ahead, an overturned truck was blocking the middle of the road.

Lin Chen did not slow down.

The steering wheel was turned 45 degrees to the right, and the car body, with two wheels on the ground, forced its way through the triangular gap between the overturned truck and the pedestrian guardrail.

The ear-piercing shriek of metal scraping against metal tore through the entire street.

Two hundred meters away, there is an entrance to an abandoned railway embankment.

The railway tracks have been dismantled, and the road surface is covered with gravel, broken bricks, and waist-high weeds.

The moment the RS7 hit the roadbed, the chassis experienced violent jolts and continuous muffled thuds from the impact of gravel.

Lin Chen made subtle adjustments to the steering wheel with both hands at a rate of three times per second.

The car was traveling at 120 km/h.

One hundred and twenty on the gravel road.

Every bump could cause the tires to slip and lose control, and every protruding piece of brick could puncture the chassis's fuel lines.

But in Lin Chen's hands, the RS7 was like a tamed wild beast, flying along the abandoned railway embankment, skimming the ground.

Six minutes later.

RS7, covered in dust and rubble, appeared at the back door of the city police headquarters building.
