Full health is the kill threshold, no matter if you're a god or a demon!

Of course, some unlucky ones didn't have time to escape and were easily swallowed by the behemoth. By the time it reached the core area of the Burning Sea, at least fifty shark-like fishmen and more than ten sharks had become its meal.

Sora went from initial shock to numbness, and eventually even began to sympathize with the shark-like fishmen. After all, he was a fishman too, and he knew that if they encountered a giant monster like the Giant in the water, they would suffer the same fate.

It's too awful.

It didn't even have a chance to resist before it was swallowed whole.

Liu Nian found it quite interesting, like playing a game called "Greedy Fish".

Big fish swallowing small fish, it's completely unreasonable...

The core area of the burning sea was completely shrouded in a cloud of steam rising from the boiling water, reducing visibility to less than five meters.

The water temperature here reaches hundreds of degrees Celsius; the seawater is practically like a viscous, bubbly, boiling soup.

At the heart of the boiling soup stands a giant nest made entirely of black volcanic rock.

The nest is shaped like a...foot scrubbing stone.

The surface is covered with holes of all sizes, and each hole shimmers with a dark red light.

"The lair of the shark-like fishmen..." Sora said solemnly, "Princess Serana should be imprisoned somewhere inside."

Liu Nian looked at the nest.

More than two hundred shark-like fishmen gathered on the sea surface surrounding the lair, watching this side with unease.

At the main entrances to the lair, several enormous creatures were perched—

[Level 99 Bloodthirsty Shark]

Those were sharks that were over fifteen meters long and had a dark red body.

It is a war behemoth tamed by shark-like fishmen.

Clearly, they already knew that a huge sea monster was heading towards their lair!

But after the behemoth slowly circled the black nest shaped like a pebble, most of the shark-like fish-men had already scattered like birds and beasts—facing such a massive deep-sea overlord, any resistance seemed utterly ridiculous!

A small percentage might be driven by the bloodthirsty sharks, forcing them to charge forward despite their fears.

"Trap them all, but don't kill them." Liu Nian gave the command to the behemoth through his consciousness. He wanted to capture these shark-like fishmen and turn them all into slaves!

The behemoth's deep hum echoed underwater, like muffled thunder.

It opened its massive jaws and began to devour everything. The shark-like fish-men that were gripped by the water flow had no chance to break free and were all sucked into its mouth!

The other shark-like fishmen were so frightened that they started burrowing into the nest!

As for those LV99 Bloodthirsty Sharks, Liu Nian wasn't so polite, because these things were considered wild monsters, not NPCs, and couldn't be transformed.

Their size was like a puppy before an elephant compared to the behemoth; a single bite left not even a white mark. The behemoth didn't even bother using any special abilities, simply flicking its massive tail—

boom! boom! boom!

The bloodthirsty shark was struck as if by a battleship traveling at full speed; its bones shattered instantly, and its massive body twisted into a bizarre shape before slowly sinking into the deep sea along with the gushing blood mist.

The remaining bloodthirsty sharks finally felt fear and turned to flee.

But the behemoth opened its massive maw, and a silent shockwave erupted from its throat, violently distorting the seawater. Within a radius of tens of meters in front of it, it was as if it had been struck by an invisible hammer, and all the creatures in this area suffered severe internal damage instantly!

Several bloodthirsty sharks immediately rolled belly up, barely alive.

Sora's face turned pale. He thought to himself that this giant whale was terrifying. He wished he had one too, so he could unleash it as a special move and shout, "Eat them all!!" How cool would that be!

The behemoth swam around the nest twice, and then no more shark-like fishmen dared to come out of the nest.

The behemoth scanned the interior of the nest with its sonar and easily discovered the location of the so-called King of Boiling and the place where the mermaid princess was imprisoned. In fact, the two were in the same place.

Looking at the King of Boiling, Liu Nian was somewhat surprised.

This thing isn't a shark-like fishman at all; it's a giant squid!

He recounted the story to Sora, who thought for a moment and said, "You must be talking about the Kraken, a descendant of the Deep Sea Giant! I never imagined these shark-like fish-men would obey its commands!"

The two swam out of the giant's body and entered the nest through a hole.

As soon as Liu Nian entered the nest, he sensed something was wrong.

The seawater outside was scalding hot, reaching 100 degrees Celsius, but the water temperature inside the nest suddenly dropped to around 20 degrees Celsius, even carrying a hint of chill.

The water here is crystal clear, a stark contrast to the murky, boiling sulfur water outside. Moreover, a feeling of being watched, like a persistent, lingering ailment, comes from all directions.

"Something's not right." Sora lowered his voice, his gills opening and closing nervously. He casually cast Underwater Action on Liu Nian and said, "It's too quiet here... and the water temperature is very abnormal."

Liu Nian didn't speak, but gripped a steel spear he had temporarily taken out. He didn't know which unlucky guy had dropped it, but Liu Nian's backpack contained all kinds of equipment.

The underwater environment is extremely unfriendly to people who fight with their fists.

In fact, the reason why biological weapons in the deep sea are generally tridents, spears, and harpoons is out of necessity, all due to the limitations imposed by the underwater environment.

Although Liu Nian was restricted, his attributes were still there. Even if he used any long-handled weapon, the damage would be ridiculously high. A shark-like fishman lurking in the shadows around the corner suddenly pounced out and was easily killed by Liu Nian with a single thrust.

-709 million!

The spear pierced the shark-like fishman's chest and protruded through his back, pinning him to the rock wall like a skewer.

The fish-man's eyes widened, his life bar emptied, and he turned into white light.

"keep going."

Sora swallowed hard and followed.

After walking for a while, Liu Nian suddenly remembered something and summoned the Echo Crab with a wave of his hand.

Echo crabs are seafood, so they can naturally fight in this environment.

In fact, Charmander can also be used. Despite being a fire creature, it is not very afraid of water after acquiring the dragon attribute.

However, Echo Crab benefits from Liu Nian's HP bonus, so its combat power is definitely stronger than Charmander's. With Echo Crab scouting ahead, the advance speed is much faster.

Based on the nest structure map previously transmitted by the giant through sonar scanning, Liu Nian headed directly towards the area where the mermaid princess was imprisoned. The shark-like fish-man guards he encountered along the way were either stunned by the Echo Crab's sonic waves, dealt with by Sora, or instantly killed by a casual spear thrust from Liu Nian.

The real trouble they encountered came from the nest itself.

Or rather, from the "King of Boiling" hidden deep within the lair.
