Full health is the kill threshold, no matter if you're a god or a demon!

The Lava Giant also discovered Liu Nian's intrusion into its territory. It let out a deafening roar, raised its giant arm made of lava, and slammed it hard into the ground.

Boom!

Centered on the point where its fist landed, the ground instantly cracked, and dozens of blazing lava pillars shot up from the cracks like fountains, covering a radius of 100 meters around!

Liu Nian dodged the first wave of attack with ease, and then pushed off with his feet, charging towards the Lava Giant!

"Take this punch first, and we'll see!"

He launched a surprise attack, quickly closing in, and when the red dot on his opponent's body lit up, he punched the opponent in the abdomen.

Bang! Shards of rock and sparks flew everywhere!

-8,761,947 (Level suppression, damage halved)

duang~

[Heart of Steel activated, HP +660 million]

"Awesome!" Liu Nian exclaimed, his spirits lifted.

This thing has over 2 million HP, and since it had already wiped out most of the nearby monsters, I decided to just keep attacking it while its HP was low!

The Lava Giant, in pain, became even more ferocious, swinging its arms to summon countless burning boulders that crashed down, while simultaneously opening its massive maw and unleashing a white-hot lava breath that swept across the area!

Liu began to move around in various ways, but this thing's skill area was too wide, and without relying on movement, it was impossible to dodge in time. However, its attack frequency was also very dense, so sometimes he had to take the damage head-on.

Fortunately, Liu Nian's resistance and health points are high enough that he can afford to wait it out.

Furthermore, since this giant creature doesn't seem to be able to emerge from the lava lake, Liu Nian can still maintain distance at any time.

So, Liu Nian didn't rush to kill it, but instead used the cooldown of Heart Steel to farm stats.

Along the way, Liu Nian's health has reached 546,798,723. Theoretically, when his health reaches around 35 billion and the damage triggered by Heart Steel reaches around 100 million, this monster will not be able to withstand one punch from him.

按照每30秒刷660万的理论数据来计算，他大概需要刷3小时44分钟，触发448次。

An hour has already passed since we arrived in the disaster zone to fight monsters.

The Demon Abyss portal should be repaired in about an hour... Liu Nian thought about it and decided that compared to improving his own strength, he could postpone his trip to the Demon Abyss. A few hours wouldn't make a difference, since no one else should be able to enter anyway.

So Liu began to focus intently on grinding.

Suddenly, a series of "Duang~Duang~" sounds echoed inside my head...

Although the process was tedious, the visible multiplication of life forms still excited Liu Nian.

Fortunately, this big guy is an elemental creature and is fighting on its home turf, so its recovery ability is excellent. Otherwise, it really wouldn't have been able to withstand Liu Nian's damage.

Even so, after Liu Nian's life points exceeded 2 billion, he had to slow down the stacking speed, from about 30 seconds to 1 minute to allow it to recover, and then to 2 minutes, 3 minutes... But this made the efficiency too low, so after stacking to 25 billion, he didn't want to linger anymore.

"That's enough, it's time to end this." Liu Nian no longer held back, a glint of light flashed in his eyes, and with a Soul-Sucking Strike, he killed it!

The Lava Giant let out a final, unwilling roar, its massive body stiffening before countless blinding beams of light bursting forth from within! The next moment, its body, composed of rock and lava, exploded violently, turning into countless burning fragments and overflowing liquid flames!

The boss dropped a lot of items after it died, but Liu Nian's standards were now very high. He wouldn't even look at anything that wasn't Mythic or Legendary or higher. So, out of the pile of items, only one thing caught Liu Nian's eye:

【Name: Eternal Flame Essence (Mythical Level)】

[Type: Gem (Disposable Consumable)]

[Description: After feeding a pet, it evolves into the "Passing on the Torch" ability. This ability activates upon the pet's death, causing the pet to be reborn as a pet egg.]

Liu Nian thought to himself: This is pretty good! The two demon servants he has now acquired are both very capable, but their status as demon servants limits them. Now that they can be transformed into pet eggs and then become pets, they are definitely much better than demon servants!

First, you're no longer afraid of being suddenly killed; second, you can break through the original level 99 limit.

So Liu Nian fed this thing directly to the Giant, and will feed it to Little Blue the next time he gets it.

As for the rest, nothing impressed him, so he just stuffed them all into his backpack.

However, the embers of the core absorbed a large amount of pure fire elemental essence after the BOSS died, and its level finally rose to level 2, becoming much brighter than before.

Judging by the time, it's been 3 hours since I started playing with this big guy.

At this moment, Liu Nian's health was 2,501,058,723, attack power was 81,211,947, armor was 22503, magic resistance was 11503, and even his shield was over 1 billion...

He glanced at the ravaged battlefield and the still restless depths of the Cataclysmic Land in the distance, but did not venture any further.

Unlike other places where the system automatically refreshes monsters every so often, the monsters here are wandering monsters that slowly roam out of the fire elemental plane. He slaughtered most of them on this trip, so he will have to raise them for a while.

Well, 25 billion health points are barely enough for now.

After the dragon transforms, its power increases fivefold. If it were to encounter a city-level protective shield worth 50 billion like the one Zul'jin created, it would shatter with a single punch!

Liu Nian planned his next trip. He would definitely go to the Demon Abyss first, and then take a stroll around the Pigman's main city when he returned. Even if he couldn't conquer it, he would still scare them and prevent them from engaging in any underhanded schemes.

As for this place, he has killed quite a few monsters. He will save them up for a while and then bring the players here to kill them together next time, while also taking a stroll towards the core area of the Cataclysm.

The second level of the floating city.

The portal to the Abyss is now secure.

The center of the door frame was no longer a distorted purple vortex of light and shadow, but a stable and deep darkness, from which wisps of chaotic magic emanated.

Arachne stood quietly by the door. Upon seeing Liu Nian return, he nodded slightly: "Master, the portal is now fully stable. As long as the magic energy supply is sufficient, it is not much different from other teleportation arrays. However, this is a one-way portal; you can only go there and not come back."

Liu Nian nodded. That's alright. Since those trolls can resurrect by committing suicide, it means that place won't imprison players. So, if he wants to come back, he just needs to teleport back to the floating city.

After pondering for a moment, Liu Nian decided to play it safe and returned to his main body, activating [Heart of Deception].
