Currently, the Pharaoh's power is mainly concentrated near Altawien, but who can guarantee that new cities won't emerge near the other three powers?

Both options have their advantages and disadvantages.

Skylock was silent for a moment. His six eyes closed briefly, then opened, scanning everyone around the round table.

"What are your opinions?"

Angra Maine was the first to speak. His massive body leaned back in his chair, and his voice was deep and slow.

"I think Drakaa's plan is more prudent." Every word he spoke seemed carefully considered. "We need to build our reputation first, using small victories to create the impression among players that 'we keep winning, and the Pharaoh keeps losing.' That's human nature—everyone likes to side with the winner. Once everyone starts badmouthing the Pharaoh, more and more people will jump in to kick him while he's down. At that point, we won't even need to try to win them over; they'll be worried about not sharing in the spoils of victory and will come begging to join us."

The dwarves of the Ironblood Guild nodded in unison; those who were eager to take advantage of others were not interested in making a sale.

Their vice president raised his fist, which was as hard as a hammer: "I second that. War is not a dinner party; we can't put all our eggs in one basket. What we want is final victory."

Alice of the Stormband didn't speak, only nodded slightly. Her amber eyes were fixed on the skull on the holographic map, her brows furrowed slightly, as if she were calculating something.

Others also gradually expressed their support for Dracaya's proposal.

Skylock looked at Liu Nian.

"And you?"

Liu Nian did not answer immediately.

His idea was actually the same as Skylock's: why make things so complicated? Just storm into the Pharaoh's capital and kill him!

Three months! He's not in the mood to waste that much time!

For him, improving his own strength as soon as possible is the most important thing; nothing is more important than stacking his attributes!

However, under the current circumstances, Liu Nian certainly couldn't say that out loud; he could only wait until after the meeting to talk to Skylock alone.

Right now, he lingered on the map for a while, looking at the locations of the four main city systems—Ottawien, Savage Fortress, Miserka, and Matalion.

Then he spoke.

"We seem to have overlooked the power of the four main system cities."

Liu Nian's voice wasn't loud, but the area around the round table instantly fell silent.

"This major event, the Pharaoh's return, has had a significant impact on all four major powers." His gaze swept across the round table. "Especially Otawien—the Pharaoh's current capital city, which is too close to Otawien. Are they just going to let the Pharaoh grow stronger right under their noses? His army is still blocking Otawien's way out; isn't that a provocation?"

Some people around the round table wore thoughtful expressions.

Skylock nodded.

"I haven't mentioned that yet," he said. "In fact, the proposal to form an anti-Pharaoh alliance was suggested by Lord Caesar."

Caesar is the lord of Altavian City, an Eternal-level NPC whose name is renowned throughout the Land of Abyss, but very few people have actually seen him.

Liu Nian's brows furrowed slightly.

Skylock continued:

"Due to system rules, Octavian cannot directly declare war on the Pharaoh's forces. Because ultimately, Octavian is not a country, but merely a main city set by the system, and its sphere of influence is limited to the area surrounding the main city. Furthermore, there is no hierarchical relationship between the Bone Sands and Octavian; the Pharaoh occupies that area, and Octavian has no right to interfere."

He paused, and the light in his six eyes flickered.

"However, I accepted the mission issued by Lord Caesar—to form an alliance and conquer the Pharaoh. The mission rewards are very generous. Therefore, this anti-Pharaoh alliance is not only the will of us players from the beginning, but also the will of the system's main city. Rest assured, after the mission is completed, the reward will not belong to me personally, but to all the alliance members."

Everyone then realized what was happening.

So that's the hidden story behind it all; no wonder Skylock was so eager to take the lead.

The dragon demon Chakna, who had been sitting at the table, had been listening quietly until now, when he finally spoke.

"Gentlemen, formulating tactics requires a lot of time for dedicated discussion and refinement. I think we should first form a leadership team. To command so many players and guilds—more than a dozen factions, hundreds of thousands of people, and hundreds of battlefronts—it's absolutely impossible without a dedicated decision-making team."

Everyone nodded subconsciously upon hearing this.

“I’ve actually considered that as well,” Skylock said. “Since I initiated this alliance, I’ll recommend myself as the first leader of the alliance, responsible for overall planning and coordination. The Divine Dragon Guild is the direct driving force behind this major event—without them collecting the Pharaoh’s parts, there would be no world boss, and no meeting today—I propose that the Divine Dragon Guild appoint one person as the vice leader to assist me in handling alliance affairs.”

His gaze fell on Liu Nian, but Liu Nian had no interest in it at all!

"As for the number of members in the leadership team—I think fifteen is a reasonable number for now. Any more and the decision-making efficiency will decrease; any less and it will be impossible to take into account the interests of all parties."

After Skylock made the suggestion, the group engaged in a heated discussion.

There was no objection to Skylock and the Dragon Guild each taking one spot in the leadership group—one was the initiator of the alliance, and the other was the instigator of the event; it was perfectly legitimate, and no one could say anything about it.

As for the remaining thirteen spots... everyone wants to fight for their own benefit.

Some suggested allocating resources based on guild strength, others on the proportion of troops deployed, and still others proposed deciding through battle—the argument raged on, with each voice louder and each face redder than the last.

Finally, Skylock slammed his hand on the table.

"Vote," he said. "Everyone here will have one vote, and the members will be determined based on the number of votes. This is the fairest method right now."

The group looked at each other, and finally had no choice but to agree.

The voting began quickly and ended just as quickly.

After the results were announced, Skylock publicly revealed the list of leaders: Dracaya, Chakna, Alice, Werner... plus Skylock and the representative of the Divine Dragon Guild, making a total of fifteen people.

The leadership team was thus decided.

Following this meeting, the fifteen individuals will hold a separate meeting to discuss in detail the upcoming battle plan and the internal division of labor within the leadership group.
