The shields, which had been enhanced, changed from a translucent dark purple to a murky, dark red, like congealed blood. The distorted faces on the surface of the shields finally opened their mouths wide, this time not as silent screams, but as audible roars, sounds like the simultaneous screams of tens of thousands of wronged souls, sending chills down one's spine.

The shield's thickness increased at least three times, and the dark red light shield turned into a fluid like asphalt, so thick that even light could not penetrate it. The floating city's energy weapons simply could not penetrate such a shield!

The floating city was attacking fiercely, the withering domain was causing the undead to suffer terribly, and the celestial attack was also making the shield teeter on the brink of collapse. But as soon as these six people took action, the situation was stabilized again.

"The shield strength has increased, exceeding the penetration threshold. It cannot be broken through the defense in a short time!" Miya said.

Liu Nian frowned; it seemed that taking over a main city wouldn't be so easy.

However, Arachne said from the side, "Master, the nature of that protective shield has changed. If my calculations are correct, it should be that the defense rules have been adjusted to deal with Anaxim's super energy weapon."

Liu Nian knew there was more to come, so he asked, "So, what's your opinion?"

"We can now directly deploy troops to participate in the battle. The defensive shield not only intercepts energy attacks but also has the ability to keep adventurers and NPC legions out!"

"You mean, players can just walk through the protective shields and enter the city?"

"That's right!"

Liu Nian glanced at the giant bats and bone dragons flying up below, then at the alliance army continuously entering the third level of the floating city through the teleportation array, and decisively contacted Skylock: "It's your turn to attack!"

The giant bats and bone dragons have indeed taken off from the city.

It penetrated the city's shield without any hindrance.

The giant bats have a wingspan of over thirty meters, and some leaders even exceed one hundred meters, making them no smaller than a frost dragon.

Their bodies were covered in grayish-black fur, and two eerie green flames flickered in their eye sockets. They were now encircling the floating city from different directions. Their numbers were a dense, black mass, like a swarm of locusts.

There were also many bone dragons, their white skeletons gleaming coldly in the sunlight, and dark purple energy flowing from their joints like black oil. They formed a wedge formation, their bone wings spread, and swooped down towards the floating city.

The floating city isn't going to be trifled with either.

Guild leaders like Skylock and Drakaya had already arrived and were working diligently to coordinate the players in their respective guilds. Troops were still pouring out of the teleportation array, but the air force had already amassed a fighting force.

quickly,

The allied forces launched their attack.

The first to rush out were the Griffin Knights from the Supreme Guild.

Skylock rode the silver-grey royal griffin, wearing full-body gold armor entwined with thorns, his six dark gold eyes flashing arcs of electricity through the gaps in his helmet.

Behind him followed thousands of griffin riders, each griffin clad in identical silver-white plate armor, their movements creating a clattering sound. The lances in the riders' hands gleamed coldly in the sunlight.

They burst out of the teleportation array like a meteor shower falling from the sky, leaving long silver trails in their wake.

"Kill!" Skylock's voice boomed like thunder, his spear pointing forward, the tip condensing into a ball of silvery-white light—the "Annihilation Power" unique to the Divine Demon race. He led the charge, followed closely by the griffin riders, several of them surrounding a giant bat and beginning a frenzied stabbing and thrusting...

The second batch consisted of dragon riders from the Starry Sky Guild.

Drakaya rode a dark red young dragon, her dragon bloodline fully erupting at this moment—dark red scales appeared on her skin, two curved horns sprouted from her head, and dragon wings spread behind her. Dozens of dragon riders followed behind her, riding young dragons of various colors: gold, silver, bronze, emerald green…

They flew out of the teleportation array, circled in the air once, and then headed straight for the Bone Dragon Legion.

In the blink of an eye, the dragon's breath and the bone dragon's ghost fire collided in the air, exploding into bursts of dazzling light.

The third batch consisted of rangers from the Stormband.

They followed the dragon riders out in single file, while the rangers rode their hippogriffs around the perimeter of the battlefield. They drew their bows and nocked arrows on the backs of the hippogriffs, their arrows imbued with various elemental enchantments such as frost, lightning, and fire, and continuously fired them at their targets.

Some mages rode on magical flying carpets, hovering high in the sky, chanting massive destructive spells—fire rain, ice storms, and chains of lightning—that rained down on the undead below. The density of the spells was denser than rain; when the undead looked up, the sky was filled with multicolored energy projectiles.

Next came the dwarven berserkers of the Ironblood Guild.

These dwarves didn't have flying mounts; instead, they roared and jumped directly off the floating city!

The dwarves are less than 1.5 meters tall, but each of them wears heavy armor and wields a battle axe or warhammer. They jump from hundreds of meters in the air, pass directly through the city's protective shield, and crash straight into the undead city, creating smoking, human-shaped craters in the ground or buildings.

Then they climbed out of the pit, dusted themselves off, and, as if nothing had happened, roared and launched an attack on the undead in the city.

"For the Ironblood!" The dwarf Warren took the lead, raising his warhammer and smashing the foreleg of a sphinx, sending stone chips flying.

Just as the Sphinx was about to retaliate, dozens of red-eyed dwarves rushed up from behind, roaring and unleashing a divine descent to begin their beating. In an instant, they shattered the Sphinx construct into pieces of stone.

The other dwarves charged forward, shouting, "Take down these skeletons!"

Next came the elephant warriors brought by Angretien, and other players from the Supreme Guild.

They were the most numerous, falling into the city of Nah like dumplings being dropped into a pot. The elephant-man warriors were enormous; the shockwaves from their landing knocked down swarms of skeleton soldiers, and with a flick of their trunks and a swipe of their tusks, they could throw a black knight and his horse more than ten meters away.

The other players from the Supreme Guild followed closely behind, including mages, warriors, priests, and rogues, all of whom were present and coordinated very well. After landing, they began to form small teams to fight.

Following closely behind were Mosh and his trolls, who brandished their clubs and shouted, "Troll time!" as they entered berserk mode.

In addition, players from dozens of other small and medium-sized guilds continuously poured out of the teleportation array in the floating city.

Blood Axe Guild, Shattered Stone Alliance, Frostbite, Chirp and the like... they all came, there were so many people, it was like a huge horde.

Because of the floating city, the players are fearless!

To be precise, it means being able to afford to die, dying a worthwhile death, and dying without any psychological burden.

Anyway, you'll just respawn in the floating city if you die, and you can just jump again, so what's there to be afraid of?
