Full health is the kill threshold, no matter if you're a god or a demon!

Devouring Sun replied: "Received. The Mistress said the Tidal Core has been preheated and the spatial anchor point has been locked. Teleportation can begin at any time."

At this moment, in the underwater region of the Rusted Dynasty, a beam of eerie blue light shot into the sky from the bottom of the water.

Within the pillar of light, a colossal temple was slowly rising.

That is the core temple of the Silverscale Naga, and also the location of the core of the tide.

Surrounding the temple are dozens of smaller buildings—warehouses, workshops, barracks, and altars—that float like satellites around the temple, shrouded in a pale blue light.

The pillar of light grew brighter and thicker. The temple rose faster and faster.

Then, *buzz*—!

A deep, booming sound, like the roar of a giant beast, exploded in the sky.

The pillar of light suddenly contracted, shrinking along with the temple and the surrounding buildings into a single point of light the size of a fist.

The light flickered once and then disappeared.

The core area of the Rust Dynasty, along with the Tidal Core and all the important buildings, was teleported to the Abyss.

This extraordinary sight not only caused the surrounding fire elemental creatures to riot, but also amazed the players nearby.

Some speculated that some kind of treasure might have appeared, but the power was too strong and disappeared in just an instant.

Although many players later dived underwater and discovered numerous ruins, the place was already deserted...

Clearly, they were a step too late.

At this moment, a large number of players are busy around the Ruins of Ascalon.

The first step in building the floating city is basically complete, and it is expected that the anti-magic rock vein will be cut out from the original mountain range later today.

Thanks to the data in Ascalon's database, the distribution of the anti-magic rock veins was quickly determined, saving a lot of time.

The engineering team, originally composed of Dragon City players, gnomes, and Silverscale Naga technicians, would have taken at least five days to determine the key locations. Now, with the addition of a large number of Supreme Guild players, this time has been reduced by 90%!

Calculations show that the anti-magic rock veins in the Ascalon Ruins are extremely widespread. If all of them were included as the foundation for the floating city, its volume would be at least ten times that of Anaxim, which is far too large and would likely increase the burden on the eternal energy source.

After much discussion and calculation, it was finally decided to abandon one branch vein. Although this would result in the loss of approximately 6% of the anti-magic rock ore, it would reduce the volume by 55%, and consequently save a significant amount of time and energy.

The plan was ultimately agreed upon by everyone, and the first step is currently being carried out according to this plan.

After the first step is completed, the second step is to make horizontal cuts, and the third step is to install the eternal energy anti-gravity rune array (the gravity flipping step is omitted because it is not a mountain peak and does not require flipping)...

The equipment needed for this third step is currently being expedited for production by various allied guilds in the Land of Abyss...

It's unlikely that the angels and demons will be able to determine a winner so quickly. Both sides have very strong foundations. While it's not an exaggerated scenario like a thousand-year blood war, it's a conservative estimate that they could fight for ten days to half a month, with both sides constantly escalating their efforts and recruiting more people.

During this time, Liu Nian naturally wouldn't be idle either; he transformed into various characters and roamed around every corner of the competition area.

His goal was simple: to accumulate experience like crazy, kill and plunder, and incidentally stir up more trouble.

When he encounters players from the Dark Continent, he transforms into a player from the Light Continent to carry out justice.

When he encounters elemental creatures, he transforms into an orc and goes to provoke them...

With him constantly creating conflict, the entire region was practically fighting like a dog.

The hatred between the various forces deepened, and the fighting became increasingly fierce. Many guilds joined the fray, resulting in a life-or-death struggle.

On the world channel, the flame war never stops.

[You dogs of light! You raided our camp! Have you no shame?!]

[Bullshit! You were the ones who attacked first! You killed over thirty members of our patrol!]

Who saw us do it? Where's the evidence?

Evidence? Do you people of the Dark Continent need evidence? Your faces are the evidence!

That's a personal attack!

So what if I attack you? Look at your face, all scruffy and twisted.

【You fucking come out here and let's fight one-on-one!】

[A one-on-one fight it is, are you scared of me?]

……

Liu Nian watched the flame war on the world channel and couldn't stop laughing.

He was crouching not far from the entrance to the Ruins of Ascalon, having just killed some level 500 or so players who were farming the Fungal Horde.

A pile of supplies was discovered.

Liu Nian discovered that his efficiency in attacking players in the competition area was no slower than when he was in the Battlefield of the Heavens!

In just a few days, he accumulated a massive amount of resources and experience points, and his attributes were growing explosively...

Because he has been continuously ambushing and killing players in this area recently, many people know that there are powerful players lying in ambush here, so gradually fewer people like to go here.

In order to stack attributes and to avoid reducing benefits, Liu Nian would take the initiative from time to time, stirring up trouble in the competition area.

Several days passed in the blink of an eye.

That day, after killing some Purgatory players as an angel, he received a message from Wu Zhan.

"Liu Nian, preparations for the third phase of the Ascalon Floating City renovation are complete. We're ready to launch and activate the anti-gravity rune array. That might cause quite a stir, and we're worried it will attract too much attention from players. Do you think it would be appropriate for you to come over?"

Upon receiving the news, Liu Nian naturally returned to Longcheng without delay.

The region is currently a mixed bag, with many players at level 400 or higher.

If the commotion is too great and attracts level 999 players, it would be very dangerous for a floating city that is not yet completed.

Liu Nian alone might not be able to protect them completely.

Fortunately, Ascalon's floating city doesn't need to be as perfect as Anaxim for the time being; it just needs to be able to take off.

The subsequent modifications can be carried out after the jump to the Abyss.

In other words, once this step is successful, preparations can be made immediately to tune the frequency with the tidal core within the Abyss and initiate the jump.

Once the jump is successful, the players of the Divine Dragon Guild will be out of danger, and even if the competition zone is destroyed, it will have nothing to do with them!

When Liu Nian arrived, the square was bustling with activity.

The engineers of the Supreme Guild and the craftsmen of the Abe Bees were making final adjustments. The substrates were being activated one by one, and pale blue light seeped out from the ground, like a glowing lake.

This is the core area A19 of the anti-gravity rune array. There are thousands of similar arrays deployed throughout the entire Ascalon floating city!
