Full health is the kill threshold, no matter if you're a god or a demon!

This is actually a pharaoh!!

Standing nearly four meters tall, he is a perfect fusion of a human body and a giant scarab: his upper body retains a humanoid torso and arms, while his lower body connects to the enormous scarab's thorax and bladed legs, making him resemble a mobile war fortress.

His back was also covered with a layer of arched, hard carapace, and his entire body had a dark green metallic texture, like oxidized bronze.

His head was not entirely human-like, but rather a hybrid of human and insect, quite similar to the Abe Bee, only more ferocious and majestic.

Kaft clearly hadn't expected that it would be Liu Nian who had infiltrated the treasure vault. The eight worms instinctively tensed up, and their aura suddenly became wary.

Liu Nian stared at the pair and instantly figured out the key points.

Kaft was originally a soldier under Shams, but now he appeared in the vault with another pharaoh. The answer is self-evident: this guy has either completely betrayed us, or he has been forcibly controlled by the beetle lord Set in front of him.

Liu Nian was speechless.

The Golden City is currently under heavy attack by the vampire army. Prince Dracono has found Shams' true form, and another prince has also led an army to attack. The entire city is in grave danger. It is a situation where the two sides are in mortal danger, but instead of joining forces to fight the enemy, this pharaoh who came to help is trying to take advantage of the situation and plunder the treasure vault. This kind of mentality... no wonder the Southern Continent has always been looked down upon.

"I didn't expect it to be a mere adventurer who barged in!" Seth's deep, hoarse voice boomed from the beetle's mouthparts. "You've got some nerve, daring to occupy the mithril vault all by yourself and take away its treasures!"

He took a step forward, his heavy body landing on the stone surface with a dull thud, causing the entire 100-square-meter room to tremble slightly.

The confined space became a natural advantage in his eyes. He was best at holding his ground and close combat. His extremely high health and unbeatable defense were enough to crush most opponents in this environment where there was no room for maneuvering or dodging.

In his eyes, this little adventurer was already a sitting duck.

Kaft cautiously reminded him, "My lord! This adventurer is quite troublesome. He killed many of Shams's subordinates along the way and even took down one of his clones!"

"Hmph! How can someone like Shams, who only dares to hide behind and use tricks, compare to me? He just got lucky finding this ruin; otherwise, how could he have become a pharaoh?"

Seth clearly looked down on Shams.

Although Kaft wanted to offer advice, the difference in their social status was too great, and he also needed the other party to help him break free from Shams's control over his soul, so he couldn't say much and could only stop there.

Moreover, this one is known as the best defender among the pharaohs, so Kaft also believes that Set has a great chance of winning.

Liu Nian stretched his body. This terrain was advantageous to Seth, but it was also advantageous to him.

However, Liu Nian was still very cautious as it was his first time facing a level 999 Eternal-level BOSS one-on-one.

The two didn't exchange many words. After looking at each other, Seth made the first move.

His thick, armored body seemed clumsy, but his movements suddenly became incredibly swift.

With all six bladed legs beneath him exerting force simultaneously, Seth slammed into Liu Nian like a dark green cannonball.

In that instant, the air in the entire Mithril Vault was compressed, and Liu Nian felt his eardrums bulge.

Liu Nian did not retire.

He raised his right fist, the dark gold scales on the Starbreaker gauntlet all unfolded, and threw a punch to meet the attack.

The fist collides with the shell.

boom--!!!

A visible shockwave exploded out from the point of impact, blowing away the metal shelves on both sides of the room. The anti-magic mithril patterns embedded in the walls flickered wildly, desperately absorbing the violent impact.

Seth's body remained completely still.

Liu Nian remained completely still.

But Seth's compound eyes suddenly contracted—his impact was enough to send a legendary BOSS of the same level flying, but this dragonman in front of him actually took it head-on, without even taking a step back.

"That's interesting," Seth's voice buzzed from his mouthparts. "Again!"

He spewed out thick, dark green mist from the gaps in his shell.

The mist contained countless tiny, almost invisible beetle scales, which fell onto the metal floor and sizzled, corroding it into pits that emitted white smoke.

Liu Nian's shield began to decrease at a visible rate—though not quickly, this corrosive attack clearly carried a percentage-based damage effect.

"Plague Domain," Seth growled.

Amidst the pervasive poisonous fog, Liu Nian advanced instead of retreating.

One punch, Duang~

[Heart of Steel activated, HP increased by 198 billion!]

Liu Nian's expression froze.

This guy's health points...

That's the highest he's ever seen!

Based on this value, we can deduce that Set's life points are around 6600 billion!

Then, Liu Nian's figure spun rapidly around Seth, throwing out both fists simultaneously, each punch enveloped in holy light, leaving dazzling trails in the narrow space.

Boom boom boom boom boom—

-65 billion! -78 billion! -59 billion! -42 billion!

Liu Nian frowned slightly.

It seems that this Set has a very strong defense, and it must have a divine power suppression effect! In addition, there is a difference in level... so Liu Nian's damage is not that exaggerated.

Seth's chitinous arms and armored back were shattered by Liu Nian's fist, sending fragments flying everywhere. A flicker of horror flashed in his compound eyes—this dragonman's damage far exceeded his expectations!

"Swarm!"

Tens of thousands of small scarabs poured out from the gaps in Seth's carapace, swirling around him at high speed to form a swarm shield.

Liu Nian punched into the swarm of insects... but this time it had no effect.

The space here is far too cramped!

The insect storm almost filled the entire space, obstructing even the line of sight, and the dense swarm of scarabs surrounded Liu Nian.

Their jaws snapped and tore wildly, making a dense "snap snap" sound, like countless scissors opening and closing at the same time.

Liu Nian held his breath and punched the swarm of insects.

The fist struck the thick swarm of insects, but the effect was not ideal.

However, the small scarabs that were tearing at Liu Nian's shield suddenly burst into a burst of golden sparks the moment they bit down—damage reflection!

One, two, ten, one hundred...

All the scarabs that damaged Liu Nian were shattered by the counter-damage effect, and fell from the sky like a rain of insects.

Liu Nian took a deep breath, and his twelve wings of light suddenly unfolded, with holy light exploding from his body like a small sun.

The scarabs that approached him screamed in agony under the scorching light and turned to ashes in droves.

The density of the swarm storm dropped sharply, and Seth's true form appeared and disappeared behind the swarm.

"Unstoppable!"
