The blue light was clear and cold, while the white light was chilling. They intertwined and tore at each other, distorting the air in that area. Even the flower petals below, which were so beautiful they were almost eerie, shattered silently under the invisible sharpness, turning into dust. The dust was then swept up and mixed with the light, fluttering and swirling.

Biyao made a hand seal in front of her chest, and the Hehuan Bell hung beside her. The bell trembled slightly, and each imperceptible sway created ripples of pink that were almost invisible to the naked eye.

The ripples spread silently, attempting to bypass the direct confrontation of sword light and flower rain, and entangle Lu Xueqi.

It's not a direct attack, but more like a pervasive interference, carrying hazy illusions and seductive melodies, drilling into people's ears and hearts.

Lu Xueqi didn't even flinch; the Tianya Sword shone brightly, as steady as a rock.

The cool aura emanating from her seemed to create its own world, isolating the pink ripples from her, and not even the hem of her clothes was stirred.

She didn't even look at the source of the disturbing bell; her gaze pierced through the interwoven blue and white light, landing on Biyao's face. Her voice was colder and flatter than the sword light:

"Ten years, and all you've learned are these disturbing tricks?"

Biyao's pupils contracted, and the white light at her fingertips suddenly intensified by three times. The Heartbreak Flower spun, splitting into more tiny, snow-like points of light, which attacked Lu Xueqi's vital points from tricky angles.

"Disturbing the peace and quiet?" she said with a smile, her lips curving upwards, but her eyes were icy.

"Lu Xueqi, you're the one disturbing the peace and quiet by hogging him!"

"Should have been there?"

With a flick of her wrist, Lu Xueqi unleashed the Tianya Sword light like a tidal wave. Instead of blocking it head-on, the light flowed along a mysterious trajectory, sweeping, deflecting, and annihilating all the white light spots.

"Whose 'right' is it? Yours?"

"Of course it's mine!"

Biyao's voice suddenly rose, carrying an uncontrollable sharpness. The Hehuan Bell rang crisply, and the pink ripples suddenly thickened, almost turning into a tangible mist.

"In the Dripping Blood Cave, I shared life and death with him! In Changhe City, I was there with him for the candied hawthorn! Who do you think you are?! Just a latecomer! Taking advantage of my absence, you bound him with your hypocritical rules of the righteous path!"

Lu Xueqi finally showed some expression.

Her lips twitched down very slightly, as if she had heard something utterly absurd and boring. The Tianya Sword light, following her thoughts, suddenly solidified, transforming into an extremely refined blue line. It was no longer for defense, but instead pierced straight and sharply toward Biyao's heart, its speed more than twice as fast as before!

"To live and die together?" Lu Xueqi's voice was as fast and cold as the sword light.

"Do you know how we were driven into a desperate situation by you in the Abyss of the Dead?"

Biyao's face turned pale, and the white light transformed from the Heartbreak Flower hurriedly returned to defense, weaving into a shield of light in front of her.

"clang!"

The blue line pierced the light shield, producing a sharp clang like metal clashing. The light shield trembled violently, and Biyao's figure drifted back several feet, her blood and qi churning.

"Candied hawthorn?" Lu Xueqi pressed closer, Tianya sword following closely. The sword's momentum unfolded, no longer a single strike, but transformed into dozens of crisscrossing blue sword energies, like a large net, enveloping Biyao. Each strike carried a bone-chilling coldness and a resolute determination to cut through everything.

"If he wants to eat something now, I'll buy it myself. I remember what flavor he wants. Does he need you to do it for him?"

Biyao was struggling to defend herself. The Hehuan Bell rang urgently, and pink mist kept pouring out, trying to slow down and distort the sword energy. The Heartbreak Flower danced into a curtain of light, and the clanging and clashing sounds were as dense as a sudden rain.

Her breathing was slightly erratic, yet she gritted her teeth and said, "So what?! That's all in the past! If only I had known... if only I had..."

"Things are different now," Lu Xueqi interrupted her, her tone resolute and leaving no room for argument.

With a flick of her fingertips, the Mo Xue sword, which had been hovering at her waist and never used, was drawn with a clang. The dark green blade shimmered with a cool, clear light, which complemented the azure of Tian Ya sword on either side.

"Now, he is my husband, the father of my children. You couldn't take him away before, and now," she looked up at Biyao, her gaze calm to the point of cruelty, "you can't take him away either."

As soon as he finished speaking, the Mo Xue Sword drew an arc in the air, its tip pointing at Bi Yao. A strange force field, deep and obscure yet balanced and peaceful, spread out, subtly stirring a certain aura hidden beneath the sweet floral fragrance in the surrounding air. The pink mist around Bi Yao seemed to be stirred by an invisible hand, its flow becoming sluggish.

"You..." Biyao was filled with shock and anger. She sensed that Lu Xueqi's cultivation and methods were far more profound and unpredictable than she had anticipated. This was not just the Taiji Xuanqing Dao! The aura emanating from that green sword...

Just then, on the other side...

Jin Ping'er's purple blade drew a strange purple arc, slashing towards Jiang Xiaochuan's ribs from an almost impossible angle.

Her movements were truly ghostly; in this space where the branches and vines of the giant tree intertwined, she moved and turned without leaving a trace. Her purple blade was short, yet dangerous; the purple light at the tip of the blade was enough to send chills down one's spine.

Jiang Xiaochuan's dark red spear, the God-Slaying Spear, didn't make any earth-shattering noise when he wielded it; it was just steady and accurate. The spear cut through the air with a low hum, and it could always barely block the attacks of the purple blade.

He wasn't aiming for a decisive victory; instead, he seemed to be dealing with things, or stalling.

A soft, yellowish halo always enveloped Jiang Xiaochuan within a three-foot radius, like an inverted bowl. It was the light shield formed by the Six Harmonies Mirror that Lu Xueqi had previously unleashed. Several times, the purple blade was about to pierce him, but when it struck the halo, it only created a ripple before sliding away without leaving a mark.

"Tsk," Jin Ping'er returned empty-handed once again. She lightly spun around and landed on a thick, horizontal vine not far away. The purple blade twirled between her fingertips. She tilted her head and looked at Jiang Xiaochuan in the light barrier. The usual flirtatious smile on her face faded a little, replaced by a mixture of helplessness and curiosity.

"My benefactor, your tortoise shell is quite hard."

Jiang Xiaochuan held his gun but didn't give chase. He just stood inside the light barrier, watching her.

"Young Master Miao," Jiang Xiaochuan said, his tone not exactly hostile, but even somewhat casual, "you must be tired from going back and forth like this. You can't break it, and you can't hit it, so why bother?"

Jin Ping'er blinked: "I'm not tired. It's quite fun to play with my benefactor. It's better than watching them fight to the death and say those sickeningly sweet things."

As she spoke, she glanced at the distant battleground where sword energy soared into the sky and flower petals rained down, and pursed her lips.

Jiang Xiaochuan followed her gaze and glanced at her, sighing inwardly but not showing it on his face. Instead, he raised an eyebrow.

"Oh? Then you can continue playing, but..."

With a flick of his wrist, the tip of the God-Slaying Spear emitted a faint, dark red light, pointing at Jin Ping'er through the light barrier.

"Just dodging isn't enough. Your reputation as the 'Wonderful Young Master of the Hehuan Sect' isn't just based on your agility, is it?"

That was a flippant remark, tinged with a deliberate provocation.

Jiang Xiaochuan knew she hadn't used any bewitching techniques, probably because of Biyao?

He wielded his spear, its dark red light flickering, and didn't stray too far from the Six Harmonies Mirror's protective shield. He simply pointed, stabbed, and swept through the air, unleashing a barrage of spear energy that, while not particularly sharp, was still quite annoying. He didn't aim to injure her, but rather to keep her constantly dodging and blocking, preventing her from getting away to help Biyao.

Jin Ping'er's figure moved like a butterfly flitting among flowers, darting lightly amidst the spear strikes. Occasionally, her purple blade would flash out, dispersing the spear strikes that were impossible to avoid.

She still had a smile on her face, but her eyes became more serious. This guy had solid cultivation and steady marksmanship. What was even more rare was his patience and precise control in a prolonged fight. Despite having that protective shield, he didn't rush in. He just steadily annoyed her. She really couldn't do anything about him for the time being. Should she go help Yao'er? Judging from his posture, if she made a move, he would probably immediately entangle her.

"What my benefactor said is true."

Jin Ping'er deflected the spear's force, her voice still soft and gentle, yet revealing a hint of sharpness.

"What's the use of reputation? Being alive and protecting the people you want to protect is what really matters, don't you think?" She glanced meaningfully in Biyao's direction again.

Just then, Lu Xueqi made a new move.

Her right hand, wielding the Heavenly Sword, remained locked on Biyao, while her left hand, with fingers pointing like a sword, made a sweeping motion in front of her.

As his fingertips moved, golden light condensed, and an ancient and profound Buddhist swastika symbol, exuding a solemn and compassionate aura, instantly took shape, humming as it pressed down on Biyao!

The Buddha's light shone brightly, dispelling much of the sweet floral fragrance and the pink mist emanating from Biyao.

Biyao's expression changed drastically. She let out a sharp cry, and the Hehuan Bell shone brightly. The bell trembled violently, emanating rings of pink light several times more intense than before, layer upon layer, to meet the "卍" Buddhist seal.

At the same time, she gritted her teeth, disregarding the energy expenditure, and the light of the Heartbreak Flower surged, no longer dispersing, but condensing into a thick, icy white beam of light, which crashed fiercely into Lu Xueqi!

Lu Xueqi's eyes were icy cold. She neither dodged nor avoided the white beam of light. The swastika Buddhist seal pressed down with her left hand collided violently with the pink halo of the Hehuan Bell, producing a dull thud. The golden light and pink glow intertwined and annihilated. Just before the white beam of light reached her body, her right hand, her wrist, began to tremble at an incredible speed and frequency.

Buzzing buzzing—!

The Heavenly Sword emitted a clear and continuous tremor. With a tremor of her wrist, hundreds and thousands of azure sword energies were generated out of thin air in an instant!

These sword energies were as fine as rain, yet each one was condensed with a sharpness that could cut through metal. They were no longer in a net-like pattern, but rather as if they were shot out by an invisible crossbow, transforming into a blue, chilling storm of sword rain that swept over Biyao. The scope and speed of this storm far exceeded that of the previous ones!

Biyao's white beam of light struck the spot where Lu Xueqi had been standing, but only pierced through a slowly dissipating afterimage.

The real killing move was this rain of swords that covered all her space to dodge!

"Ding ding ding ding ding—!"

The ringing of the Hehuan Bell reached its peak, almost becoming a long, mournful cry. A pink halo surged forth, only to shatter continuously under the barrage of countless blue sword energies.

The pillar of light formed by the Heartbreak Flower swirled and swept across, scattering a patch of sword energy, but more sword energy filled the gap. Biyao's figure flickered and parried in the rain of swords. Her clothes were torn by the sharp aftershocks of the sword energy, her water-green fabric fluttered, her hair was disheveled, and a small bloodstain appeared on her cheek.

A flicker of panic and disbelief finally crossed her eyes. How could Lu Xueqi's cultivation be so profound? The quantity, power, and control of that sword energy...
