Qi Fei knew which question he was referring to.

Last time, he sat on the opposite bank of this river of light and asked the golden Buddha, "Since all beings are equal, why is there a distinction between large and small in this Alaya consciousness?"

In this space, ordinary people are only the size of ordinary people, like ants or dust, unable to even lift their heads in front of that golden Buddha.

They were swept up by the sound of the bell, guided by the "great vow," and completely converted by the power of Alaya, leaving them no room to struggle.

Qi Fei, standing in this space, was a silver-white giant.

It stands like a mountain, as majestic as a peak, rivaling even the Golden Buddha.

Different sizes.

Different heights.

Isn't this inequality?

Jin Fo had never thought about this question.

Or rather, he never felt the need to think about it.

When he designed Alaya, “different sizes” was a matter of course.

The appearances that arise naturally vary depending on the depth of one's own mind's karma and perception.

Those with higher cultivation levels have larger lights, those with lower cultivation levels have smaller lights, those with deeper comprehension have brighter lights, and those with shallower comprehension have darker lights.

This is self-evident and needs no explanation.

Qi Fei used this "obvious" thing as a point of attack against him.

Isn't this inequality?

Following this issue, there is an even deeper question.

All beings received the transmission of the bell's sound from heart to heart, but because their own nature, understanding, and karmic awareness are different, what they can understand is also different.

Some people understand it more deeply, some understand it less deeply, some understand it completely, and some only understand the basics.

Although they may look the same, even with "brainwashing," the results for each person are different.

The same software will produce different results and run at different speeds on different hardware.

How much more so for all living beings, to receive the "bell's" heart-to-heart transmission?

Ultimately, the sizes manifested in Alaya-vijnana vary greatly.

But what about Qi Fei?

Qi Fei did not accept the bell.

He was not transmitted from heart to heart, nor did he make any grand vows; from beginning to end, he opposed the fundamental logic of Alaya. Yet, standing here, he is a silver-white giant, as tall, majestic, and unshakeable as the golden Buddha.

What does this tell us?

This shows that the "Dharma" transmitted by the Golden Buddha is not the only "Dharma".

This shows that his self-righteous "great vow to save the world" is not the only path.

This suggests he might be wrong.

This is why he "kicked" Qi Fei out of Alaya. Because Qi Fei's existence shook the existence of Alaya.

But he did not kill Qi Fei.

Although he could easily kill Qi Fei, wouldn't killing Qi Fei prove that he couldn't argue with Qi Fei? Wouldn't that prove that Qi Fei was right?

The golden giant said, "The high and low that sentient beings perceive in their Alaya consciousness are all illusions. The true nature of all sentient beings is one, without great or small, without high or low."

"What you call size is nothing but a temporary illusion that you have mistaken for your true nature."

"To judge people based solely on their appearance and physique is like judging them by whether they are dressed elegantly or simply, and then saying that people are noble or lowly. How utterly absurd!"

Qi Fei listened and laughed, saying, "People who wear fancy clothes and people who are poorly dressed are inherently different. Their mentality, their life experiences, and their understanding are all different."

"The world is completely different in their eyes. If that's the case, why should they be the same?"

"Is it because all living beings can see Amara here?"

The golden Buddha said, "Indeed! Fine clothes and luxurious attire are a matter of temporary circumstances. Hunger and poverty are a matter of cause and effect. The breadth of one's vision is a result of life's experiences, and the fluctuations of one's mindset are shaped by one's environment!"

"These are not the real 'himself'. Only by seeing Amala can one know the suffering in this world and not be attached to it."

"It is not cut off by poverty, nor increased by wealth, nor destroyed by ignorance, nor revealed by wisdom. This is the seed of Amala."

"On this point, everyone is completely equal, without exception."

Qi Fei sneered, "Isn't this the Mahayana philosophy of winning?"

"Instead of facing the facts, they think I, a poor person, am equal to the rich, and an ordinary person is equal to a monk?"

"Although I am suffering, the rich are also suffering. Now that I have seen Amala, I no longer feel suffering, so I have won."

"Although you are stronger than me, in the Alaya consciousness, everyone is equal. Even if I am a hungry beggar, you are a wealthy person with no worries about food and clothing."

The golden Buddha replied, "The classes, rich and poor, noble and lowly in this world were never determined by me. They are formed by the collective karma of all beings, shaped by the rules of the world, and accumulated by the choices made generation after generation."

"You may think I'm very strong when you face me, but in the face of true strength, I am also very weak."

"I cannot change the world, but I can tell those living beings."

"They see Amala in their Alaya consciousness, neither diminished by poverty nor increased by wealth!"

"All living beings are also the tolling of a bell."

"I don't change their circumstances; I only tell them that they are already complete, and there's no need to feel inferior because of poverty, nor arrogant because of wealth!"

"They came close to me not to become me, but to finally dare to be themselves."

"This is supreme compassion, saving all sentient beings!"

Upon hearing the golden Buddha speak these words, the people in the strange space respectfully replied in unison, "Following the great vow, we will deliver all those suffering in the sea of misery."

It is precisely because of the golden Buddha Alaya, and the Amala they constitute, that...

"Bullshit!" Qi Fei couldn't help but curse. "It doesn't change the lives of ordinary people, but it can give them a placebo."

"What the hell? Daring to be yourself, isn't that still Mahayana Buddhism?"

Qi Fei listened to the golden Buddhist words and continued, "You can transmit your thoughts to them, allowing them to see Amala through the wisdom of all beings in the realm of consciousness. Why not change their current situation?"

"Why can't we ensure equal access to wealth, provide for the elderly, care for the young, and support the widowed, orphaned, and lonely, so that the world can be a harmonious society?"

"I've traveled through the Min and Yue kingdoms, and almost everyone there is one of yours. If you want to change them, it only takes a single thought!"

"What bullshit Amolo, it's just a placebo for yourself. You don't have the courage to change reality, you only have the illusion of winning by hiding on the sidelines."

The golden Buddha, upon hearing Qi Fei's angry outburst, remained unperturbed, interpreting it as a breach in Qi Fei's defenses.

"All beings suffer, regardless of their poverty or lowliness; we are all people in a sea of suffering. What is the point of change after all? The physical body is merely a shell and an illusion."

"I have been a beggar, and I have been a rich man. In this sea of suffering, everyone is suffering."

Upon hearing this, Qi Fei was so angry he laughed. At that moment, he wished he could punch this bastard in the face and let him know that physics is the only true principle!

Because of his anger, Qi Fei's silver light intensified, but it was still suppressed by the golden light emanating from the golden Buddha.

Just then, Qi Fei heard another voice: "Help me..."

"Big guy... help me... I'm Lei Lei Lei!"
