Card Making: My Card Game Starts with the White Dragon

Zhou Hao had no clue how to upgrade the cards.

Since it's still military training and there haven't been any systematic theoretical courses yet, Zhou Hao naturally has no idea how to upgrade the cards.

Unlike Ma Ling'er and Zhang Yaoyang, who came from families with a long tradition of learning, Zhou Hao's theoretical knowledge was basically still at the level of a card-making trainee.

However, Zhou Hao's progress was too rapid, which led to the predicament that Zhou Hao, an intermediate card maker, did not know why the cards were upgraded.

Just then, Zhou Hao was about to take a good look at Ao Lie's panel when suddenly everything went black.

Instructor Zhang Shan burst into laughter and pounced on Zhou Hao with a bear hug.

"Stop, Brother Zhang!! Get to the point..."

Zhou Hao instinctively took a step back, which calmed Zhang Shan's agitated emotions slightly.

"Don't call me Brother Zhang, just call me Little Zhang!! Hao Shen, you are truly my lucky star!"

My Tiger Vanguard has advanced after this battle with you!! It's now the Bloodwind Tiger Lord!!

Zhou Hao recalled that when [Tiger Vanguard] transformed into its card form, it did indeed emit a faint purple light.

"Congratulations, Brother Zhang!!"

Zhou Hao's congratulations were completely genuine, after all, he had completely destroyed Zhang Shan's [Vanguard Blade].

With this advancement, the other party could be considered to have benefited from the misfortune, so Zhou Hao didn't feel guilty.

Moreover, Zhou Hao had already guessed that Ao Lie's upgrade was most likely related to the tiger-shaped phantom inside the final [Tiger Vanguard] body.

It can be said that this instructor challenge was a win-win situation.

……

"Congratulations to Zhou Hao from Class 1 for defeating Instructor Zhang Shan and winning the first spot in the Mountain and Sea Class. He is also awarded a bye in the first two rounds of the main military training mission 3."

"Congratulations to Xiao Huohuo from Class 2 for defeating Instructor Wu Yong and winning the second spot in the Mountain and Sea Class. He is also awarded the qualification to skip the first two rounds of the main military training mission 3."

"Congratulations to Liu Adou from Class 3 for defeating Instructor Li Dapao and winning the third spot in the Mountain and Sea Class. He is also awarded the qualification to skip the first two rounds of the main military training mission 3."

……

The three announcements were released in close succession, and all three individuals were among the top five in the academic competition, making their names familiar to all students.

In an instant, both online and offline, the discussion exploded.

"Alright, three spots in the Mountain and Sea Class have already been taken, making the competition even fiercer."

"Hilarious! It's like you think you could have gotten in without those three?"

At this moment, Zhao Lei asked suspiciously, "Did you guys see Old Zhang's [Tiger Vanguard] card at the end? It was glowing purple!"

Could it be an advancement?

As he spoke, Zhao Lei turned to Xu Miaomiao, who was already preparing to go up the mountain: "Ace Observer? What do you think?"

Because Xu Miaomiao observes every game with meticulous attention to detail, she can discover many things that others cannot, thus earning her the nickname of "ace observer".

Xu Miaomiao turned around, rolled her eyes, and said, "If I were you, I'd go find Zhang Manniu right now and team up with him to go to the [Bull Demon Temple]."

After all, ranking is the only way for us to get into the Mountain and Sea Class now.

Zhao Lei wasn't stupid: "You mean Old Zhang really succeeded in advancing to the next level!?"

Xu Miaomiao did not answer and had already turned and headed up the mountain.

Zhao Lei shouted, "Brother Hao got me into trouble!!"

He then followed in Xu Miaomiao's footsteps.

……

The battle ended, and the crowd dispersed.

After saying goodbye to Zhang Shan, Zhou Hao returned to his dormitory and began to check Ao Lie's data panel.

In addition to being upgraded to the maximum star level, the age of the [Jade Dragon Pearl] has also been changed to "99".

Looking at the [Hundred-Year True Dragon Ao Lie] (purple) and [Thousand-Year True Dragon Ao Lie] (orange) in the [Advancement Path], Zhou Hao had a vague guess in his heart:

"Could it be that the hundred years and thousand years mentioned refer to the age of the Jade Dragon Pearl?"

Doesn't that mean that following this advancement path, all you need to do is keep devouring the inner cores of demonic beasts and sea monsters?

As long as the age of the [Jade Dragon Pearl] reaches the required level, you can directly advance?

That tiger-shaped phantom should have provided Ao Lie with a lot of [Jade Dragon Pearl] years, but was it really just a coincidence that it was exactly ninety-nine years?

Zhou Hao felt that things weren't that simple: "I'll ask Brother Zhang when I have the chance, and also ask him about his experience with card advancement and field card creation."

Today is the last day of the credit competition. Zhou Hao's credits are almost twice that of Xiao Huohuo, who is in second place, totaling more than 2,000 points, giving him a clear lead.

Moreover, knowing that he had already secured a spot in the Mountain and Sea Class, Zhou Hao decided to rest in bed and recover his mental strength.

He casually turned on his phone, only to discover that his match had been broadcast live on the school's official website.

Mr. Zhou was a little embarrassed for a moment, but seeing two official videos below his own,

The titles were "Open Challenge for the Second-Ranked Instructor of Freshmen" and "Open Challenge for the Fourth-Ranked Instructor of Freshmen."

Zhou Hao also became interested; he wanted to see what kind of experts were in the other classes.

The first video I clicked on was Xiao Huohuo's video. In the video, Xiao Huohuo simply pulled out a card and instantly transformed into a fire person burning with icy blue flames.

He drew another card and summoned a series of ice-blue fire pythons, the largest of which was almost as big as the Crab General.

Although the instructors on the other side didn't have purple-level field cards like Zhang Shan, they still had two blue cards and one legion card, so their strength wasn't weak.

But even they couldn't escape being burned into ice sculptures in the hands of Xiao Huohuo and his Fire Python Legion.

"It's clearly fire, yet it freezes the enemy it hits. Is this the legendary [Different Fire] card maker? Such formidable combat power."

Once its body is transformed into flames, it becomes completely harmless and can use various skills at close, medium, and long ranges. Isn't this thing a pure, oddly colored version of the "Flame-Flame Fruit"?

A card was directly upgraded by the card maker into a blue Ace? That's too unfair!

But Boss Zhou clearly forgot about his [Divine Power: Indestructible Vajra] which could destroy equipment cards for others. If we're talking about being shameless, no one is more shameless than him.

When Zhou Hao continued to click on the challenge video of Liu Adou, the fourth freshman, his pupils shrank. He saw another person who was born with knowledge.

In the image, the card summoned by Liu Adou is a handsome young man.

He was eight feet tall, wearing a feather fan and a silk turban. Just by standing there, he gave people a sense of trust that he had the world under his control.

Moreover, Liu Adou simply rubbed a handful of beans out of the flowerpot in his arms and scattered them on the ground, and they instantly transformed into golden energy giants.

"【Zhuge Kongming】? And this Liu Adou seems to have randomly gotten the 【Scattering Beans to Create Soldiers】 skill? But in the Three Kingdoms context, isn't that Zhang Jiao's signature skill?"

This is the second card maker Zhou Hao has seen who can summon historical figure cards, and the potential of the characters he can summon is much higher than that of characters like [Mulan] and [Zheng Yi Sao].

To Zhou Hao's amusement and exasperation, Liu Adou seemed reluctant to take on the challenge, and the fight was even conducted under duress from the opposing instructor.

Even so, Liu Adou still won.

Zhou Hao thought to himself, "Those who dominate the top five are definitely not mediocre, especially Xiao Huohuo."

It might be somewhat effective against [Supernatural Power - Indestructible Vajra], so we need to be careful when facing it.

Just as Zhou Hao was browsing the official website, he suddenly saw a group announcement pop up in the group chat:

"After the military training, the credits will be converted into equivalent merit points."

Students can use their merit points to exchange for various resources such as material cards and skill cards...

Before the announcement was even finished, Boss Zhou had already jumped out of bed.

"How can I sleep when I haven't killed all the monsters?"
