Chapter 62 Demonstration
Arriving at the front of the crowd, Anton bowed slightly to the three elders.
The elder nodded gently at him and said, "Don't be nervous, Anton. We're just here to take a look. You don't need to worry about us."
Anton nodded slightly: "Yes, Elder."
Without saying much, he took something out of his pocket amidst the expectant and curious gazes of the crowd.
It was a golden bean.
It is only about the size of a finger joint, golden in color, and covered with fine patterns, gleaming with a warm luster in the morning light.
Everyone stared blankly at the golden bean.
What is this?
Wasn't this supposed to be a test of the alchemical golem?
Anton offered no explanation, but held the golden bean in his palm and flicked it with his finger.
The golden bean flew out of his hand, tracing a golden arc in the air before landing on the empty ground beside him.
Ding!
The moment the golden bean hit the ground, it suddenly burst into a dazzling golden light.
The light was intense yet not dazzling, spreading outwards like mercury spilling onto the ground, enveloping the area within several meters.
Amidst the golden light, a colossal figure slowly rose to its feet.
At first it was just a blurry outline, but as the golden light gradually subsided, the outline became clearer and clearer.
When the light finally faded, a humanoid creature, about three meters tall, appeared before everyone's eyes.
"this……"
Everyone stared in disbelief at the suddenly appearing humanoid creature, their faces filled with astonishment.
What happened?
How did something so small suddenly become so huge?
Could this be the new type of puppet that Anton created?
Upon realizing what was happening, the First Elder, the Third Elder, and the spellcasters, including Darian, all focused their gazes and their expressions instantly became solemn.
Alchemical golems are complex in structure and enormous in size, making their transportation and storage a persistent headache.
A three-meter-tall steel golem can weigh thousands of kilograms, requiring specialized transport vehicles to move and specialized warehouses to store.
Of course, if you have spatial magic items, it will be much easier to move and store them.
It's just a regular spatial magic item; storing a dozen or twenty golems is already its limit.
Spatial magic items capable of storing hundreds or thousands of golem legions are extremely rare and should be disregarded.
Anton's alchemical golems, however, can be carried around in the form of gold beans and summoned anytime, anywhere.
The significance behind this is simply too great!
For a moment, all the spellcasters stared intently at the humanoid creature, trying to discern some clues from it.
If it weren't for the dwarves watching from the sidelines, they would have already asked the question impatiently.
The Grand Elder cleared his throat, breaking the silence: "Anton, is this the new puppet you created?"
"That's right." Anton nodded. "It's called the Yellow Turban Warrior."
Yellow Turban Warriors?
The group looked at each other speechlessly; the name was just too strange.
However, they were not surprised.
Anton's unique naming style can be seen from the names of his self-created combat techniques.
"What abilities does it have?" the elder asked.
Upon hearing this, everyone snapped out of their daze and their gazes returned to the yellow-turbaned warrior.
The name is irrelevant; what matters is the puppet's combat power.
Anton smiled slightly: "Verbal explanations aren't clear enough; let's demonstrate it with a real battle."
After saying that, he looked around, "Who would like to come up and help with the testing?"
Roman's eyes lit up, and she was about to speak when someone jumped out before her.
"I'll do it!"
Grimm ran excitedly into the field, his face beaming with joy.
"I'll be the opponent of this... um... Yellow Turban Warrior!"
He eagerly took the double-edged battle axe off his back, gripped the handle with both hands, and pointed the axe blade diagonally at the ground.
"Let me make this clear first, I won't hold back."
Anton smiled, took a few steps back, and a thought flickered in his mind.
The Yellow Turban Warrior suddenly looked up. Although his facial features were not visible, everyone could feel a vibrant life force rising from his massive body.
Grimm's eyes lit up slightly. He weighed his axe in his hand and launched the first attack.
He stomped his feet on the ground and launched himself out like a cannonball, his double-edged battle axe carrying a strong wind as he slashed fiercely at the Yellow Turban Warrior's chest.
This axe blow was swift and ruthless, the blade tearing through the air with a sharp whistling sound.
The Yellow Turban Warrior neither dodged nor evaded, but raised his left arm to take the blow head-on with his arm guard.
clang!
A deafening clang of metal clashing exploded, sparks flying everywhere.
Grim felt a tremendous force rebound from the axe, and his hand went slightly numb, but the Yellow Turban Warrior's body remained motionless, not even taking a single step back.
"Such a tough body!"
A hint of surprise flashed in Grimm's eyes, but he did not back down; instead, his fighting spirit intensified.
With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed a horizontal slash of his battle axe, aiming for the waist and abdomen of the Yellow Turban warrior.
To everyone's surprise, the Yellow Turban Warrior, despite his seemingly bulky physique, was not as sluggish as a typical golem. Instead, he was exceptionally agile and dodged the attack in a flash.
Then it raised its right hand, holding a golden mace, high and brought it down on Grimm's head.
The hammerhead was round like a melon, weighing at least several hundred pounds. It whistled down with a muffled gust of wind, its momentum terrifying.
clang!
The axe and hammer clashed, creating a deafening metallic clang.
Grimm remained motionless, but his cheek twitched slightly.
Clearly, blocking that attack was not as easy for him as it seemed on the surface.
The two sides went back and forth, hacking and smashing with axes and hammers, like two giant beasts striking each other, creating an astonishing spectacle that left onlookers dumbfounded.
"No way... this big guy can actually hold his own against Grim?"
"Unbelievable, Grimm is a mid-Silver rank player!"
"Is this really Anton's first time creating a puppet?"
The dwarves were amazed.
The Silvermoon Clan's high-ranking members were filled with shock and disbelief.
The combat power displayed by this new puppet, called the Yellow Turban Warrior, completely exceeded their expectations.
They had seen silver-rank golems before, but this was a puppet that Anton had created from scratch in less than two months.
I originally thought that Anton's so-called attempt was just talk, but who would have thought that he would actually do it!
In another clash, Grimm's axe struck the Yellow Turban Warrior's chest, leaving only a small crack.
He gritted his teeth, took a half step back, breathing heavily, and fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.
After fighting for so long, he had exhausted a lot of energy, and his arms were starting to ache.
In contrast, the Yellow Turban warriors continued their fierce offensive.
The wounds left on its body by his battle axe were not even minor injuries to this behemoth.
"This thing...it's fucking hard!"
Grimm spat and was about to launch another attack when he was suddenly stopped.
"Alright," Thorvin said in a deep voice, "That's enough, Grimm, come back."
A hint of resentment flashed across Grimm's face, but after hesitating for a moment, he still dared not disobey the elder's order.
More importantly, he himself was well aware that the alchemical golem had inexhaustible stamina and no concept of fatigue. If the fight continued, he would surely be the one to lose.
"Your alchemical golem is very powerful."
Grimm was quite straightforward; before leaving the arena, he nodded to Anton, which was a tacit admission that he had lost to the Yellow Turban Warrior.
The battle ended, but the sidelines remained silent.
Everyone stared blankly at the Yellow Turban Warrior and Anton, their expressions dazed, unable to speak for a long time.
