Chapter 123 Cutting in Line

Lee Ran and Choi Jin-ri arrived next to the statue.

Two bronze statues sit on a bench. The statue on the right pats the back of the other statue with its right hand, while its left hand seems to be wiping away tears from his face.

"Come a little closer. Sit on the bench."

She raised her phone and pointed it at the statue.

Li Ran obediently complied and sat down next to the statue.

"Click~"

Choi Jin-ri looked at the photo on her phone and nodded in satisfaction.

"Alright, now it's your turn to take my picture!"

She switched places with Li Ran.

He was slightly stunned as he looked at Choi Jin-ri in the camera lens.

She seems unusually energetic today! It's like she had a wonderful dream last night.

"Are you done yet? My arms are almost frozen." She looked around and took off her mask and sunglasses.

"Almost there!"

Li Ran snapped out of her daze and focused the camera.

"Click~"

"Let me see!"

Choi Jin-ri leaned closer and said, "Not bad! I think you're pretty good at taking pictures."

"It's just so-so. I think the model is prettier. The three essential elements of photography are: model, model, and model."

"You're so glib." She gave Li Ran a reproachful look, the corners of her mouth turning up slightly.

"Just telling the truth."

"Okay, I'll take you to eat Korean beef. We agreed on it before." Choi Jin-ri put her mask and sunglasses back on, then took his hand.

Li Ran looked down and felt the softness of her hand, but didn't pull away.

The two of them left Mapo Bridge hand in hand.

"This restaurant looks good!" Choi Jin-ri pulled her mask up and looked at the restaurant not far away.

Upon hearing this, Li Ran glanced over and noticed that a rather long queue had already formed in front of the store.

There were about seven or eight people.

"There are too many people here, aren't there? I wonder how long the wait will be." He shook his head.

"It's okay, there's plenty of time! Are you in a hurry?"

Choi Jin-ri squinted at him.

"No, it's just that I'm worried you'll get sunburned!" he explained.

"It's okay! I think this speed is actually pretty fast. Let's go, let's go!"

She pulled Li Ran over.

Once she got close to the crowd, Choi Jin-ri stopped talking.

Although she wasn't afraid of anything, for Li Ran's sake, she decided it was better to avoid trouble.

The two waited for about three minutes, and the line moved forward about two meters.

Just as Li Ran was about to look down at the time, he caught a glimpse of a couple suddenly cutting in front of him.

"Hey! What are you doing? Cutting in line?" He frowned, looking at the couple in front of him.

"What's it to you? It's not like I was the one who did it." The man with the classic "natural birth" hairstyle from the peninsula said impatiently as he turned around.

He seemed obsessed with the double-door refrigerators in Korean comics; even his head appeared small.

His female companion leaned closer behind him, echoing, "That's right, that's right."

Birds of a feather flock together, as they say!

"Damn it! You pushed one forward, and everyone behind you followed suit and backed up!"

"Nobody else said anything, why are you making such a fuss?!"

"Do you have a problem with that?" the man asked the boy who had just been penetrated from behind.

The boy kept his head down and didn't say anything.

"Your trapezius muscle has taken over your brain!"

"you!"

The man who had given birth glared at Li Ran, but noticing the firm muscles under his clothes, he didn't dare to act rashly.

After all, family members know their own situation; those huge muscles on his body weren't all from working out.

I may not be able to beat the other person.

"If you're so capable, go ask other people! See what their opinions are!"

"Right! Do you have a problem with that? Do you have a problem with that?" He patted the customers in front of him and behind him.

Most people adopted the attitude of "it's better to avoid trouble" and chose not to speak.

Choi Jin-ri looked at the arrogant man in front of her, her teeth itching with anger.

For a split second, she wanted to rush over and kick him in the lower body, but Li Ran held her back.

He stepped out of the line and asked the people in front and behind him, "Are you all sure you don't mind cutting in line?"

The customers all lowered their heads, seemingly unwilling to get involved in their argument.

The man who gave birth naturally revealed a disdainful smile.

"Alright! Since you have no objection to cutting in line, I have no objection either."

Before he finished speaking, he pulled Choi Jin-ri to the front of the line.

The man who had given birth naturally was clearly taken aback when he saw him insert the needle directly at the very front.

Other customers also seemed somewhat surprised.

They looked at each other, but were too embarrassed to say anything.

The customer behind Li Ran glared at him resentfully. He was originally in first place, and he was next.

However, after glancing at the muscles on Li Ran's arm, he lowered his head.

When Choi Jin-ri saw the two of them arrive at the front of the line, she blinked and gave them a thumbs up.

Li Ran smiled and gently patted her hand.

At that time, if even one person had stood up with him to criticize the man who gave birth naturally, he would have felt embarrassed to do so.

Since so many people chose to be cowards, he can't be blamed.

"Hello, sir and madam, welcome to our restaurant. How many people are in your party? Would you like a private room or the main dining area?" the waiter said with a smile.

As expected of the first one, Li Ran and his companion hadn't even stood there for ten seconds when the waiter came over.

"Two people, private room."

Since Choi Jin-ri was not in a position to speak, Lee Ran spoke directly.

"Okay. Please follow me to the private room." The waiter bowed slightly, still smiling, and led the two to the private room.

The people still queuing outside the store looked at each other in surprise when they saw Li Ran and his companion go inside.

"Damn, this guy is even bolder than me," the man with the naturally shaped hair muttered under his breath.

He noticed that the people around him were looking at him with increasingly hostile eyes.

"What are you looking at! Line up in your own queue!" he said, his tone fierce but his words betraying his fear.

Inside the restaurant, Li Ran and Cui Zhenli had already arrived at the private room.

The private room had a nice ambiance; no wonder there was such a long queue.

After we ordered, the waiter left the private room.

"Phew~ I can finally sit down."

Li Ran casually picked up the bottled water on the table and took a sip.

He had just been queuing outside. Although it wasn't hot, standing for a long time still made him a little thirsty.

Choi Jin-ri took off her mask and finally couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"You were so mean just now!"

"How did I do anything wrong?" Li Ran raised an eyebrow. "I respected everyone's opinions."

"I asked them, but they didn't offer any suggestions!"

"Nonsense!"

She poked his arm with a smile, but couldn't suppress the urge to smile.

She had to admit that although it was a bit of a dirty trick, she found it quite satisfying to see the unlucky expression on the baby's face after the birth.

And those who pretended not to see her, when Li Ran stood directly at the front, their expressions were more interesting than anyone else's.

I knew this, why should I be at the beginning?

They brought this on themselves!
