"Ah~" Li Ran yawned and rubbed her eyes with her right hand.

"Um?"

He was on his way to the kitchen when he was startled as he passed through the living room.

Choi Jin-ri was sitting on the sofa in the living room, her right hand supporting her chin, seemingly lost in thought.

"Why are you up so early today? Didn't you sleep well last night?" He glanced at the time; it was only 6:30.

She gently shook her head. "It's nothing, I just suddenly thought I'd come over and sit for a while."

Li Ran glanced at the faint dark circles under her eyes and pursed her lips.

"Breakfast won't be ready for a while. Why don't you have some snacks to tide you over?"

"Never mind. My stomach isn't very good, I can't handle eating cold food so early in the morning."

"Hmm?" Li Ran blinked, his gaze lingering on her pale face for a moment. "You had diarrhea yesterday?"

Choi Jin-ri nodded slightly. "Your health is still too poor."

He scratched his brow. "It's my fault, I didn't consider your stomach. I'll go heat up a glass of milk for you."

She watched Li Ran's retreating figure and gently bit her lower lip. After a moment, she turned her gaze back to the wall.

On the table, pumpkin porridge, boiled eggs, and steamed buns were all steaming hot, with two dishes of pickled vegetables on the side.

This was the first time Choi Jin-ri and Choi Jin-ri had eaten breakfast face-to-face since Choi moved in.

The first few times, he would just deliver the food to her room and then go eat it himself.

To be honest, he didn't really pay much attention yesterday, but now that he thinks about it, it's quite strange that a "celebrity" would stay at his own guesthouse.

Li Ran didn't really feel anything about "celebrities". In the past, he felt that these things were too far away from him and he didn't pay much attention to them. Now, it's because the "celebrities" in front of him didn't show anything particularly special.

She is neither the type who must bathe in mineral water as depicted in folk tales, nor the "perfect" persona imagined by some.

Based on his current feelings, he is just a normal person, a normal person who sometimes spaces out and has trouble sleeping.

Li Ran swallowed the egg in one gulp and drank some porridge to help it down.

He glanced at Choi Jin-ri, who was still slowly chewing her food, and asked, "Can you eat clams?"

"Hmm?" Choi Jin-ri looked up at him.

"I asked you if you can eat clams?" he patiently repeated.

"I'm planning to go to the beach at noon today. I'm worried you might be allergic to seafood, so I'm asking if you have any dietary restrictions."

She gently shook her head. "I don't have any particular dietary restrictions."

"That's fine then." Li Ran nodded.

Silence fell over the table once again.

The main problem was that Li Ran didn't know how to start a conversation. The two of them didn't seem to have much in common. Forcing a conversation would only leave the impression that she had ulterior motives.

Therefore, adhering to the principle of "the more you say, the more mistakes you make; the less you say, the fewer mistakes you make," Li Ran did not speak rashly.

The little black dog next to him was happily eating its breakfast.

The bowl contained almost everything they ate: crushed boiled eggs, porridge, and leftover steamed buns from yesterday.

Li Ran rarely buys special dog food; most of the time, Xiao Hei eats whatever he eats.

Surprisingly, they turned out to be quite good.

Choi Jin-ri glanced down at Xiao Hei, tapped the rim of the bowl lightly with her index finger, and hesitated for a moment.

She looked at Li Ran and asked, "How long have you had this dog? It looks like you're taking good care of it."

He raised an eyebrow, surprised that Choi Jin-ri had taken the initiative to start a conversation.

"About half a year. I had only been in Jeju Island for a few days when I found him in a small alley. Back then, he wasn't as fat as he is now."

Little Blackie is about half a meter long excluding its tail, and its shoulder height reaches up to his calf. It's quite sturdy.

"Is it called 'Xiao Hei'?" Choi Jin-ri repeated the name.

"It's in Chinese, 'He'ai Hei,' which means black. I really don't have much talent for naming things," Li Ran shrugged.

"Chinese? I know a little, but only a tiny bit."

"Hey! Shirley! I love you all! Forty-four, ten times ten, fourteen is fourteen, forty-four is forty." She said it earnestly.

You can clearly hear the accent, but the pronunciation is correct.

The group has one Chinese member and one person of Chinese descent, and they also participated in some activities in China in their early years, so Sulli is not unfamiliar with Chinese.

However, getting her to answer fluently is a bit difficult.

"That's good. You're quite talented." Li Ran nodded.

She smiled slightly and pursed her lips. "I noticed you have pets too. I was wondering if I could bring my cat over? I'm willing to pay extra."

"And Brin is a hairless cat, so she basically doesn't shed."

She looked at Li Ran with some nervousness.

Goblin is Sulli's pet cat, a Canadian Sphynx.

She went out to relax these past few days and asked a friend to take care of Brin.

"You even added honorifics to your request? Don't forget you told me to call you Nuna yesterday." He shook his head with a smile.

"Is it not okay?" Choi Sulli bit her lower lip, her eyes darkening.

"I didn't say no, did I?" He blinked.

"Huh?" The corners of her mouth unconsciously turned up, and her eyes sparkled as she looked at him.

"When I saw you shake your head, I thought you were refusing."

"Tsk," Li Ran curled her lip, "I'm not that heartless. Anyway, raising one is the same as raising two. As long as they don't fight."

"Brin is very well-behaved."

"I'm actually quite curious about what Brin looks like. In my mind, hairless cats have all their skin exposed and are quite ugly."

"Brin has a great personality!" Choi Jin-ri repeated.

"And I think it's cute," she said earnestly.

Li Ran shook her head, unable to understand her peculiar aesthetic sense.

He glanced at the dining table. "Finished eating? Then I'll get ready to wash the dishes."

"Let me help you." Choi Jin-ri also stood up.

"What are you doing following me? It's not like it's purely hand-washing; there's a dishwasher."

"Besides, you've already spent the money, so why are you still rushing to do the work?" He gave her a strange look.

Choi Jin-ri pursed her lips and smiled somewhat awkwardly.

"Alright, go play. I'll catch some clams at noon." Li Ran waved casually, then put away the dishes and headed to the kitchen.

I feel like I'm being treated like a three-year-old.

Choi Jin-ri watched his retreating figure and sat down again.

However, she doesn't dislike this feeling.

Little Black had finished eating sometime earlier and sauntered over to her feet.

Then he just lay down.

Not shy at all.

Choi Sulli looked down at him for a while, hesitated for a moment, and finally gently stroked his back.

Xiao Hei simply shook its head slightly, without getting up.

Choi Jin-ri examined Xiao Hei's nose, while the sound of a dishwasher reached her ears.

She glanced at the sunlight outside the window and yawned.

She slowly pulled her foot away from Xiao Hei, then prepared to go back to her room for a nap.

Li Ran glanced casually at the dishwasher in the kitchen before turning her attention back to it.
