Chapter 45 Ao Qing's Life in Another World
Ao Qing was awakened by the intense sunlight.
He lay on the grass, with blue sky and white clouds overhead, and a castle in the distance.
He sat up, rubbed his eyes, and felt as if he had had a very long dream, but he couldn't remember anything about it.
"Strange," he muttered, standing up and brushing the grass clippings off his clothes.
The architectural style of this world looks like that of ancient Europe, but much more ornate and magnificent.
"So this is the magical world Brother Lin was talking about." Ao Qing walked towards the city, looking at the bustling crowd.
"Looks like you're living a pretty good life."
The people around me were dressed fairly well, much better than people in real ancient Europe.
He opened the chat group, wanting to send a message to let them know he was safe.
His finger hovered above the screen, but he didn't know what to say. He thought for a moment and felt that there wasn't much to say.
He closed the panel and began to wander aimlessly.
The sun was shining brightly, and the breeze felt wonderful on my face.
Then he heard footsteps.
A girl with short blond hair darted past him, moving much faster than a normal person.
Behind her, a girl with long white hair was in hot pursuit, followed by a boy with short black hair whose attire seemed out of place.
"Isn't he wearing a Japanese school uniform?" Ao Qing was a little unsure, but he was certain it was sportswear, not ancient clothing.
"Such good luck?" Ao Qing was somewhat incredulous, but still secretly followed.
Soon, the group arrived at a small alley during their chase.
The two girls in front of him passed through smoothly, but when it came to the boy's turn, three "punk" girls suddenly appeared from the side and blocked his way: "Hey, hand over your valuables."
"Huh? Japanese?" Ao Qing overheard their conversation from behind.
"Get out of my way!" the boy in the school uniform shouted impatiently, then ignored the three of them and walked past.
Three "punk" kids pulled out daggers to scare the school uniform boy, but to everyone's surprise, the boy just walked straight up to the man holding the dagger and crashed into him, letting the dagger pierce his stomach.
"It hurts...it hurts so much." The boy lay on the ground, blood everywhere...
……
……
Ao Qing was awakened by the intense sunlight.
He lay on the grass, with blue sky and white clouds overhead, and a castle in the distance.
He sat up, rubbed his eyes, and felt as if he had had a very long dream, but he couldn't remember anything about it.
"Strange," he muttered, standing up and brushing the grass clippings off his clothes.
He continued to wander aimlessly into the city.
"Huh? Isn't he wearing a Japanese school uniform?" Ao Qing, walking down the street, suddenly noticed a boy who seemed out of place.
The boy looked nervous and ran all the way, not knowing what he was going to do.
Ao Qing wasn't about to let this opportunity slip by, so he turned around and followed.
And so, Ao Qing followed the boy into a small alley.
Three "punk" kids appeared, and they started with the same robbery rhetoric.
"Strange, I feel like I've seen this scene somewhere before." Ao Qing looked at the scene in front of him and felt a strong sense of déjà vu.
"Guards!" the boy shouted, trying to scare the three "punk" kids away.
"That's enough." Instead of the guards, a knight with red hair and a dragon claw sword hanging at his waist appeared at the alley entrance.
"Sword...Sword Saint Reinhard!" the three thugs shouted, and were immediately scared away.
"Thank you." 486 (Natsuki Subaru) said thank you first, and then nervously began to praise the other person.
"Don't worry about it," Reinhard said kindly, comforting 486 instead.
"If I have any trouble, I can help if you don't mind."
"...I'll figure out how to handle this myself." 486 didn't want someone he had just met to go to such a dangerous place, so he went to the stolen goods warehouse alone.
"Come out, my friend hiding in the shadows." After 486 left, Reinhard called out in Ao Qing's direction.
Ao Qing had no intention of hiding any longer and stepped out of the shadows.
"Strange attire, I've never seen anything like it before," Reinhard said with a smile, looking at Ao Qing in his long black robe.
"I come from the East, looking for someone." Ao Qing stated his purpose directly, sensing a dangerous aura emanating from the person before him.
"Is it the boy who just left? If so, I'm sorry, I can't let you take him away." Reinhard gripped the Dragon Claw Sword tightly.
"What if I insist on taking him away?" Ao Qing suddenly laughed. He wasn't sure if the boy from earlier was the transmigrator he was looking for, but it seemed more fun to have a fight with this guy in front of him.
Reinhard paused for a moment. "I don't sense any hostility from you."
"Oh, and this time!" As soon as he finished speaking, an invisible pressure emanated from Ao Qing, causing dust to rise from the streets on both sides.
Reinhard, positioned in the very center, didn't even move his head. Instead, he gripped the Dragon Claw Sword and pointed it at Ao Qing: "Would you be willing to come out and fight me?"
"Why wouldn't I dare?" Ao Qing smiled; the other party seemed to be from the Lawful Good camp.
……
……
……
Ao Qing was awakened by the intense sunlight.
"Ugh, I feel so tired." Ao Qing sat up from the grass and stretched his limbs.
Suddenly, the chat group started sending him a barrage of notifications, and Lin Yan sent him a private message.
"Ao Qing, what happened on your end?"
"No, Brother Lin, I just arrived in this universe." Ao Qing was a little confused as to why Lin Yan asked this question.
"Just arrived?" Lin Yan continued to message, "You've been gone for almost seven days."
Ao Qing was stunned for a moment. "Seven days? Impossible. I just arrived and haven't even entered the city yet."
"Looks like you've hit the jackpot. Either you've been set up, or this world is a bit special."
"Brother Lin, don't scare me." Ao Qing looked bewildered.
"Check the group chat; this chat group shouldn't be affected," Lin Yan sent a message.
Ao Qing quickly opened the group chat and found a long string of unread messages. He scrolled up for a long time before finally finding the one he had sent earlier.
"What...what's going on?" Ao Qing was completely dumbfounded.
"Your memory is faulty; you don't remember this period, but nothing happened to you either, so it doesn't seem to be targeting you," Lin Yan analyzed.
"Brother Lin, don't scare me." Ao Qing was almost crying.
"You wait for me there, I'll go see what's going on."
