Becoming God starting with the word game in Lord of Mysteries

Chapter 105 Sequence 7 - The Hermit's Extraordinary Traits and the Keeper's Last Wish

"Weren't they already rescued? Why would they have any last wishes?"

Li Qianyi was very puzzled.

But the game information didn't give him time to be confused.

[Belia tells you that in the basement of the castle where Lady Eleanor, the embodiment of the great mother, resides, there is a special mirror.]

[The mirror contains the Cataclysmic Destruction of the Mirror World's Lord, the Root of Calamity, a key artifact left behind to deal with the Holy Remains.]

Li Qianyi seemed to be deep in thought, as this was very close to his guess.

"Twilight Oath" is a contingency plan left by Eternal Darkness, and is half of the special equipment "Elegy of Sunset Glow". The other half, "Song of Sunset", most likely corresponds to Lumian's contingency plan "Cataclysm of Destruction".

After all, he ultimately killed the ancient sun god whose original will had been revived in some way.

Therefore, the name "Song of the Setting Sun" itself has a certain symbolic meaning.

[Belia tells you that there is no ordinary way to enter the castle's basement; the only way to get there is through the secret passage in the basement of the Night Watch Priest Caleb Hayes' house.]

[Belia Eliza guides you and Jack Belmont to the house of Night Watchman Caleb Hayes]

You have the following options.

[Option A: Refuse Belia's request and go to the old gravedigger's hut to rest]

[Option B: Agree to Belia's request and go to the Night Watch priest's house]

Since Bellia had already provided clues and information, Li Qianyi had no reason to refuse.

With Belia leading the way, you arrived at the Night Watch priest's house in no time and found the entrance to the basement in a storage room.

This entrance is very well hidden; you know, without Belial's guidance, you probably wouldn't have found it.

"As expected, Belia wasn't saved for nothing."

Li Qianyi seemed to be deep in thought.

If he abandons that mission, abandons the task of saving the nun.

"Then he probably won't be able to find the mirror of the calamity ruler or the song of sunset in a short time."

Then don't even think about synthesizing "Elegy for the Setting Sun" to obtain the power of ending.

When he faces the final boss of the dungeon, his fate is unlikely to be good.

You notice that Jack's face is expressionless; he seems to be preoccupied with something.

But you're not good with words or comforting people; all you can do is pat them on the shoulder.

You have arrived at the basement, where there is a sealed door.

You slowly step forward and receive the following information.

【Secret Keeper's Seal】

[Note: This is a door sealed by the Keeper of the Secrets. You need to find the Keeper of the Secrets; only they can break the seal and open this door.]

"The seal of the Keeper?"

Li Qianyi frowned deeply. Was there really such a thing?

Where could he find the so-called keeper of secrets now? But as the information surfaced, he soon found the answer.

The seal on this door was erected to deal with blasphemers.

[Belia Eliza tells you that the first Keeper of the Secret in Annihilation was the Night Watch Priest Caleb Hayes]

But he had already died along with the "Sacrifice of Chaos".

She is now the only guardian who can open this door.

"No wonder Jack said after regaining his memories that Belia was involved in a secret concerning the sacred remains and the town."

"So that's what you meant."

"So, that means he already knew about this before he lost his memory?"

"So that's why the Radiant Saint wanted to execute her?"

"No, if we knew she was the key guardian of the secrets set up by the Lord of Calamity, we should have executed her immediately upon discovering her potential betrayal."

"How could they give us a chance to save her?"

"They don't know? Or rather...?"

'

Li Qianyi frowned slightly. "Is this something the Primordial God would be happy to see happen?"

He had a vague feeling that something was wrong.

[Belia tells you that Adam, the son of Lady Eleanor, is a "sacred relic," the foundation upon which this illusory town of Peace rests.]

But He was not the true Son chosen by the original God; His chosen Son was someone else.

Only by destroying the sacred remains and killing the Holy Son can everyone in this peaceful town return to reality.

[You have obtained a clue about "Belya Eliza"]

Adam is not the Son of God. The true Son of God is hidden among the people of Anning Town. You know, you have to find him.

Li Qianyi frowned deeply.

"Adam is the remains of the Holy One, but not the Son of God," which is slightly different from his guess.

Just as Li Qianyi was pondering, the information resurfaced.

Just then, you saw Belial walk onto the altar, and Jack, who had been silent all along, suddenly stepped forward and took her hand.

Li Qianyi was a little confused. Did they still have to show affection after breaking the seal?

"etc."

A bad feeling suddenly arose in his heart.

As the information surfaced, his heart sank to the bottom.

[Belia didn't turn around, but slowly pried open Jack's hand.]

[You heard Belia's confession to Jack]

"You are the guide they appointed," she said, falling in love with me and trying to find clues to break the seal.

"I am the keeper of secrets appointed by the original God, and I will divide your soul, making you forget everything, forget your mission."

"You saved me from the clutches of the Radiant Saint, and I am here to help you complete your mission. We are even now."

You may never have loved me, and I may never have loved you.

Our encounter may just be a fleeting dream, a mirage conjured by the hand of the gods.

[Belya Eliza sacrificed herself to break the seal on the "Guardian of Secrets"]

Belia Eliza is dead.

Jack Belmont's favorability towards the Primal God has decreased by 999.

You realize that perhaps Jack Belmont understood something after regaining his memories.

If he wants to break the seal here, he must personally rescue Belia and send her to her doom.

And she certainly wouldn't refuse, just like all his previous requests.

[You have triggered Belial's last wish. Do you wish to view it?]

Li Qianyi chose to view.

【Yes】

Because "Lady Eleanor" is the embodiment of a great mother, Belial hopes you won't let Jack Belmont go deep into this tunnel with you, and she hopes you can take him away from this fake town.

[Note: This last wish is not mandatory]

[You have obtained the special item "The Keeper's Last Wish"]

"The keeper's last wish?"

Li Qianyi frowned slightly and clicked on the corresponding entry.

[The Keeper's Last Wish]: A special item that may grant special power when encountering a particular item.

"Special items?"

Li Qianyi was a little puzzled, but his thoughts were more complicated. He looked at the game.

[Jack Belmont picked up the Sequence 7 Hermit Extraordinary trait left behind by Belia Eliza from the ground and handed it to you.]

Do you want to accept?
