Warhammer: My buddy has too many secrets!

Chapter 63 The Spiritual Realm

Zola is dreaming.

In his dream, he was no longer the short, ugly, and laughable figure he was born with, but rather handsome, tall, and incredibly powerful—a hundred times more charismatic than Howard Stark…

But then his dream seemed to end, and he returned to his small, dark research room in Switzerland, a converted basement.

God gave him a brilliant mind, but nothing more.

Being ridiculed as a dwarf rat from a young age twisted Zola's mind, leading him to extremes, believe in totalitarian order, and think that humans are not worthy of free will and must be controlled and brainwashed.

His research began to go to extremes and was gradually rejected by people. At that moment, the devil came after him.

After reviewing his research, Red Skull Schmidt personally approached him, promising to make him Hydra's chief scientist, giving him the respect he had always dreamed of, and providing him with a place to realize his lofty ambitions and talents.

At first he thought Hydra was a good place, but he soon began to witness Schmidt’s brutality. Over time, the Red Skull became his nightmare, and even his faith!

Because he had to give his all and his loyalty in order to avoid being killed by that demon.

But everything changed today.

The demon, which he considered almost omnipotent, had its hands easily severed, letting out a sharp wail. And at that very moment, the three-meter-tall metal giant became an even deeper nightmare in Dr. Zola's heart...

"I didn't expect I'd scare Zola so badly? Even overshadowed the fear Red Skull instilled in him for a moment?"

Lancelot gripped Zola's head with his large hand, looking at Zola in front of him with a glint of psionic energy in his eyes.

Psychic power is essentially the power of the spiritual realm, or one could say the power of the soul.

In the Marvel universe, Lancelot is much more adept at using his psionic powers than he was in the Warhammer universe. He can easily influence the mental realm with his psionic abilities and use them to invade Zola's soul memories.

And the process went very smoothly.

Lancelot couldn't help but sigh, "The Marvel universe is really great. Unlike the Warhammer universe, the mental realm here hasn't been turned into a cesspool!"

While it is true that gods exist in the Marvel universe, and these gods are truly above all else.

Its name is: Eternity.

It is the sum total of all life consciousness, spirit, and soul in the entire multiverse. When Lancelot uses psychic power to mobilize the power of a spiritual realm, it is essentially similar to borrowing the power of this great god.

This deity possesses exceptional vision and perspective; as a truly supreme being, he is devoid of emotions as understood by humans.

It has no good or evil, no love or hate, no possessiveness; it simply maintains the balance of the multiverse.

Sub-star, planetary, or even single-universe level spiritual power are nothing compared to it. Lancelot merely stirred up the structure and form of the domain with his spiritual power; this great god wouldn't care about such things at all.

Lancelot's soul infiltrated the highest realm of the Marvel universe's spiritual world. The spiritual realm of the Marvel Universe possessed an unparalleled sense of order, and here Lancelot felt as if he possessed the authority and power to change the entire universe.

However, this is clearly fake.

Lancelot quickly composed himself. During his previous studies with the Lamenters' Institute, the most frequent advice they gave was to never be tempted by the power of the warp.

Even though Lancelot understood that the Marvel universe was far cleaner than the Warhammer Warp's cesspool of subspace, he would never dare to set such a precedent.

The psionic gaze swept across the entire Earth. Nothing earth-shattering had happened on Earth during World War II... but Lancelot still sensed many powerful soul signals.

Those are probably sorcerers from Earth, right?

Lancelot pondered for a moment. He knew that Earth was no pushover. Those wretched aliens from other places had no idea that Earth had a magical guardian known as the Sorcerer Supreme!

It is authorized by the Triune White Magic God, the multiverse-level deity Vishanti, and can use its infinite power through wisdom and ritual.

However, although white magic is powerful, it follows the laws of birth, aging, sickness, and death. Even the Sorcerer Supreme, as a white magic user, cannot stop life from gradually aging.

That's why the Ancient One sought the power of the Dark Dimension to sustain her life, prolong her existence, and pass on the responsibility to the next Sorcerer Supreme...

Now, my psychic powers can be considered magical abilities in a sense? Maybe I could go to Kamar-Taj to study them...

Lancelot's consciousness took a stroll through the spiritual realm and realized that he was capable of doing much more in this Marvel universe.

I had previously learned from the Psionic Intelligence Center of the Weeping Ones how to erase memories and brainwash loyalty, but overly violent methods can damage the brain of the brainwashed.

But Lancelot really couldn't bear to waste Dr. Zola's brain.

The reason why Robert Guilliman was able to launch the Unyielding Expedition as soon as he awoke was not only due to the mass production capabilities of the Alteramar 500 world itself, but also because the Archsage of Mechanics, Caul, had developed a massive number of Protocast Space Marines and a series of accompanying equipment during his ten thousand years of coma.

Different universes naturally have different cosmic conditions.

Creations made using different technologies can be used freely by himself, a transmigrator, but may not work for others.

However, if one wants to influence the situation in the galaxy, technology must be of paramount importance. The demons under Blue Bird's command can alter data and affect the learning of knowledge, but they cannot possibly extend their reach into the Marvel Universe!

Now that he's arrived too early, during World War II, he hasn't met Tony Stark, the village chief of the newbie village, and can only settle for second best. While acquiring the Tesseract, he can also grab Zola and use him!

If force doesn't work, then try gentle persuasion! This guy isn't very resistant to anything!

With that thought in mind, Lancelot began to implant his own spiritual power deep into Zola's soul.

During this process, Zola vaguely felt an indescribable unease.

It wasn't a physical discomfort, but a tremor from the depths of his soul, as a memory belonging to him was deeply etched into his mind.

While unconscious, Zod got goosebumps and the hairs on the back of his neck stood on end. Lancelot's psychic power surged into his brain, amplifying and deepening the memory of the time he had experienced!

Boom boom boom!

Zola's dream continued... He came to a dimly lit corridor.

Then a dull thud began to sound, thump thump thump... The ground was being trampled, as if something was approaching, an existence far beyond his comprehension, moving toward him at an unstoppable speed.

It wasn't footsteps, but something deeper. It was the sound of a soul being crushed.

"Aaaaaah! Don't come any closer!"

Zola screamed in terror as he looked at the laboratory door. The steel explosion-proof door, which he perceived as weighing two hundred kilograms, was pried open. The door frame, hinges, and half of the wall were torn apart like foam by an unseen giant hand, revealing a huge human-shaped silhouette!

Amidst the dust and smoke, the humanoid silhouette strode in, its crimson eyes and cold, steel body magnifying in his gaze. Zola nearly screamed for his parents at that moment! His inner fear was fully unleashed!
