Early morning, shopping street in Mellen town.

A rather unusual group of four people walked slowly down the street.

The dwarf man at the head of the group had striking short blond hair, a long spear slung across his back, and a steady gait. He was the leader of the group, named Finn.

Half a step behind him stood an elven woman with flowing jade-green hair, her fingertips lightly gripping a wand. Her movements were elegant, and she possessed an invisible aura that seemed to proclaim her noble status. She was a member of the royal family of Alfson, named Riveria.

On the other side was a brown-haired dwarf, his giant axe pressing down on his back, his whole body as solid as a walking wall. He was originally a miner named Grace.

A carefree figure was darting around, somewhat diluting the serious atmosphere of the entire team. This figure was their god, Loki.

Loki exclaimed excitedly, "Wow, Mellen Shopping Street is developing quite well!"

Riveria's gaze softened, and the corners of her mouth turned up slightly: "What a lively little town."

Grace crossed her arms, her eyes shining, and said, "Fresh seafood from the fishing town paired with delicious drinks... I'm looking forward to it. Finn, what's our plan for next?"

Finn chimed in, "Well, our world tour is almost over. The next step is to establish ourselves in Orario. Let's rest here for a few days and gather some intelligence."

Just then, a loud and energetic shout suddenly came from a shop not far away—

"Come and see! Warm, steaming milk, and soft, fragrant tapir rolls!"

Loki's ears perked up, and her eyes lit up instantly. Before anyone else could react, she had already darted out like a cat that had caught the scent of fish.

Teach, the shop assistant who had been employed by the store for six months, immediately perked up when he saw someone take the bait and enthusiastically introduced the product: "Gentlemen, come and see! This is our shop's newest tapir roll! Look at the red tiger stripes, and look at the pure white cream inside—paired with our hot milk, a bite first thing in the morning will guarantee you a radiant complexion all day! Don't you think life is all about the taste? Want to try some?"

Loki, intrigued by this pitch, waved his hand and exclaimed, "Four servings, please! Finn, come and pay!"

Finn sighed helplessly, taking out his money while giving his god a resigned look.

Teach took the money, stroked his black beard, and smiled as he sized up the group before him: "You adventurers must be from out of town, right? Our shop has a well-known reputation in Mellen Town; everyone who's eaten there raves about it!"

Finn was clearly intrigued by this. After accepting the dessert and milk from Teach, he said, "Then let's try your products and see how they taste."

The moment it touches your tongue, the cake's softness gently collapses, like tiny clouds spreading across your palate. Accompanied by a slightly sweet milky aroma, it is gradually moistened by the warm milk, slowly sliding down your throat and leaving a gentle and lingering sweetness.

good to eat!

Just as Finn was about to ask something, he caught a glimpse of three figures walking past him and heading straight into the shop.

It was Metalia who brought Tianxing and Alphia over. She had been wanting to check on her shop for a long time, and now she had the chance. Tianxing didn't mind accompanying them, but when he entered, his gaze fell on the adventurers and he was slightly taken aback—they were actually members of the Loki Familia, and now they were in Melen, quite a rare sight.

Tianxing stepped forward and invited, "Loki? Welcome to my shop. Are you new to Melron? Would you like to come in and chat?"

Loki blinked, rummaging through his memories of the Upper Realm, but couldn't find that face. He asked, somewhat puzzled, "Who are you?"

"Prometheus," Tianxing smiled, "has only recently descended to the mortal realm and has been staying with Melen for quite some time now."

"Our clan's main business is providing combat supplies, such as the Heart-Nourishing Rejuvenation Pill, Jim Roger Bread Flavored Soda, and Hot Floating Milk."

Tianxing pointed to the shelves in the shop and casually explained, "Nourishing Heart and Soul-Returning Pills are commonly used supplies for adventurers because they are easy to carry. Jim Roger Bread Flavored Soda has a fermented bread smell, so some adventurers like to use it as a substitute for alcohol. As for Hot Floating Milk, it is considered a life-saving necessity because of its excellent therapeutic effects, but it is quite expensive."

Loki paused, blinked, and asked, "Is the hot floating milk the one I just drank? It seemed reasonably priced, like regular food?"

"Of course they are different." Tianxing smiled. "What you eat are imitation everyday foods. They taste similar to the real thing, but they have no effects. The shop assistants said that some adventurers got used to our supplies and liked the taste, and some customers who couldn't afford them wanted to try them out, so our clan did some experiments."

Loki narrowed his eyes and said with a chuckle, "That's not bad. You're just like the rumors say, a real nice guy."

Tianxing chuckled and didn't respond, instead asking, "What are your clan's plans for the future?"

Loki glanced at Finn instinctively, who understood and continued, "We plan to stay in Melen for a while, mainly to gather intelligence and prepare for our future exploration of the dungeons in Orario."

Tianxing pondered for a moment, then looked at Loki and said, "In that case, would you like to come to our clan's encampment later?"

"It just so happens that I invited Njord to be my guest yesterday. Most of the fishermen here are members of his clan, and they are quite familiar with the surrounding area. Your presence will not only allow you to gather information, but also make the banquet more lively!"

Loki turned and exchanged glances with the three, noticing the intense look in Riveria's eyes as she gazed at Prometheus, and a sense of unease crept in. However, after a brief exchange, the group readily agreed.

At noon, preparations for a barbecue feast were in full swing in the grove next to the Prometheus family's residence.

The Skywalker's family members gathered around the ingredients, carefully marinating them with barbecue sauce they'd somehow acquired. The aroma of the sauce, mingled with the smell of charcoal, wafted through the forest. Loki, like a curious child, wandered around, peering into the bottles and jars, eager to open and smell each one.

Under the shade of a tree not far away, Finn was being chatted with by Frozen Powder Snow and Mettler on either side. The two little ones clearly regarded him as a playmate of the same age, chattering incessantly with questions. Grace had already found a comfortable spot to sit down, clutching a bottle of Jim Rogers bread-flavored soda in his hand. He took a sip, a satisfied expression spreading across his face.

Riveria was the only one who didn't join in the commotion. She stood alone at the edge of the clearing, her gaze passing over the crowd and landing deep in the woods. In her usually calm, azure eyes, however, lay a hint of undisguised shock, as if she had seen something that shouldn't exist among those ordinary shadows of the trees.

Njord, carrying a bulging bag of fresh fish, strode into the forest clearing and declared, "Prometheus, I've arrived for your barbecue feast!"

"You're finally here, Njord." Tianxing greeted him. "You're a little late. What happened?"

"Ah..." Njord sighed, "Recently, new humanoid monsters have appeared in the sea. They are covered in blue scales, have webbed hands, are extremely fast underwater, and like to act in groups. The fishermen who went out fishing this morning suffered considerable losses."

Loki approached unnoticed and greeted, "Yo! Njord, I've finally descended to the mortal realm. How are your familias?"

Njord was slightly surprised, but still answered cheerfully, "Fortunately, the retreat was timely, and most of the injuries were not serious. A few seriously wounded soldiers drank hot milk and their lives were saved."

He paused, his expression turning serious: "Loki, Prometheus—I may need your help."
