Auduin felt a chill run down his spine and immediately understood Leon's intention.

He was using the wolf king to openly hide himself deep in the ice cave, and then, through some means, secretly obtain what he wanted.

But there are still doubts. The wolf king is ruthless and kills without hesitation. Isn't Leon afraid of dying on the ice plains?

Or perhaps he has a trump card up his sleeve and isn't afraid of the wolf king at all...

Alduin shook his head, temporarily suppressing the jumbled thoughts in his mind.

His initial goal was to retrieve the Stone Emblem and leave, but he never expected that the Stone Emblem would fall into the hands of the Wolf King. To get it back, he would have to make an equal exchange.

All he can count on right now are the two stone badges.

One of the Rock-Splitter Emblems could be obtained once the Lion King breathed his last, but the process was too long. He could afford to wait, but the seal of the Ancient Dragon of the Ruins could not withstand it.

The other one is the emblem of the desolate mound, but this one...

Auduin felt a headache coming on as he recalled the information he had gleaned from the Lion King's memories.

The location of the Wild Ridge Emblem is most likely in the dead zone known as the Wild Ridge Mountains, east of the Northern Ice Plains.

The place had a strange environment; not a blade of grass grew on the ground, and the soil was as heavy as lead.

No matter who steps inside, they will sink deeper and deeper, their consciousness will become increasingly blurred, and they will eventually collapse inside, fall into a deep sleep, and die.

And the desolate emblem lies in the deepest part of that dead zone.

It's rooted there, impossible to move, impossible to damage, impossible even to touch.

Any creature that tries to approach it will first be crushed by gravity, and then its consciousness will be swallowed up by the power of eternal slumber.

Alduin flicked his tail, looking somewhat helpless.

This stone emblem cannot be taken away, cannot be used, and cannot even be touched; in the past, it could even be life-threatening.

The Wilderness Emblem represents the eternal will of the earth, possessing a terrifying gravitational field and the power to erode consciousness. The more vigorous a creature's life force is, the faster it will die when it gets close to it.

With his current strength, going there would be suicide.

Auduin fell silent, caught in a dilemma.

Leon's move put him in a passive position.

If they advance, they cannot break through the Wolf King's defenses, nor can they step into the perilous Death Zone; if they retreat, all their previous pursuit will be in vain, and the Rock Emblem will never be retrieved.

Blu crouched behind him, sensing the awkward atmosphere, and even softened his breathing.

One minute, ten minutes, one hour...

Alduin slowly opened his eyes, a flash of dark golden light in his pupils, and a smile appeared on his lips.

He figured it out and knew how to break the deadlock.

The key to breaking the deadlock, from beginning to end, lay with the Lion King.

Blue cautiously approached, "Boss, have you come up with a plan?"

"Hmm." Alduin stood up, his dragon wings unfurling behind him, but instead of flying towards the ice field, he turned south. "You stay here and keep an eye on the glacier."

Alduin offered no explanation, only gave a single command, and then took flight.

Seeing this, Bru blinked and continued to sit on the frozen ground, staring at the ice field in front of him.

……

Ancient rock altar.

The Lion King sat upright on the cold stone throne, his eyes closed, most of his body turned into stone, and a pale yellow halo surrounded him.

But the halo was extremely faint, like a candle flickering in the wind, which could be extinguished at any moment.

Alduin stepped out of the shadows, his dragon claws striking the cracked ground with a cracking sound.

The lion king did not open his eyes, nor did he move.

Auduin was somewhat surprised; it seemed the old man was even weaker than he had imagined, and didn't even make a move when he arrived.

"I know you're still alive," Alduin said calmly. "I also know you can hear me."

no respond.

Auduin crouched down and looked at the lion king on the stone throne.

"I'm not here to steal the Rock Crack Emblem. That thing is tied to you now, I can't take it away."

He paused, then continued:

"I've come to tell you that your good son Leon has betrayed you."

The Lion King's aura trembled slightly, his eyes remained closed, and he did not respond, only a mocking smile appeared on his lips, clearly indicating that he did not believe Alduin's words.

"Don't believe me?" Alduin's vertical pupils remained completely unwavering, as if he had anticipated this reaction.

"Then let me ask you, after he stole my Rock Emblem, he went to find the other two Stone Emblems as you requested, but do you know what he did?"

"He went to the Icefield," Alduin said without waiting for the Lion King's reply.

The Lion King's lips still held a mocking smile.

"You think he went to get the Crystal Emblem?" Alduin shook his head.

"He didn't even have a chance to get close to the Crystal Rock Emblem. The Wolf King was a legendary figure at his peak, while he was at the peak of epic level. The difference was obvious. He couldn't possibly take it by force, or even outsmart him, because the Wolf King simply wouldn't give him the chance."

"He went to find the Ice Marrow Wolf King, made up a lie full of holes, and then deliberately got himself seriously injured and imprisoned."

The Lion King was visibly startled and frowned.

"Lion King, let me guess, before he left, you must have given him some advice, but he didn't do as you said, right?"

Alduin seized the opportunity and spoke.

The Lion King did not answer, but his silence itself was the answer.

Auduin knew he had guessed correctly.

He squatted before the stone table, his vertical pupils fixed on the lion king's cloudy right eye, and said softly:

"You've lived for hundreds of years, no one knows the rules of the North better than you. You must have a way to get the Crystal Badge from the Wolf King, but Leon didn't do that at all."

The pale yellow aura surrounding the Lion King trembled violently.

"Because he doesn't need to listen at all."

Alduin's voice turned cold. "His plan was never to get the Crystal Emblem. His plan was... to kill you."

"Shut up." The Lion King finally spoke, but his voice was very weak.

Auduin didn't shut up, he just smiled and continued:

"Think about it, he stole my Rock Emblem, deliberately lured me to the North, and instead of looking for the Barrens Emblem, he headed straight for the Icefields to die."

Alduin stood up, his dragon wings half-spread, and slowly paced around the altar.

"An epic-level spatial mage, if he really wanted to escape, even if he couldn't defeat the Wolf King, could at least tear open a rift and jump away. But he didn't. Why?"

The Lion King did not speak.

"Because getting locked up is his purpose for coming here." Auduin stopped and turned to look at the Lion King.

"He voluntarily surrendered for his own safety. The Wolf King spared his life because he valued the information in his mind. His life is worthless. The Lion Clan can't save him, and you are no match for the Wolf Clan. You can only wait passively. And you..."

Auduin pointed to the lion king on the stone throne and gave a cold smile.

"We'll just be waiting to die here."

The Lion King suddenly opened his right eye, a cold light flashing from his cloudy pupil.

That dying weariness was instantly suppressed, replaced by a legendary majesty.

The old lion king chuckled and sized up the young dragon who was stirring up trouble in front of him.

"Young dragon".

The Lion King's voice was still weak, yet it carried an immense, oppressive force.

"Who do you think I am? You think I'd believe you just because of a few words of provocation?"

Alduin crouched in place, his vertical pupils calmly meeting the lion king's gaze, without the slightest fear.

"On what grounds?"

As far as I know, you are not the Lion King at all.

You are the Rockbreaker emblem itself!
