The cliffs on the Marbury coast are now a desolate ruin.

The mansion built on the cliff collapsed completely under the bombardment of missiles, leaving only the foundation.

Workers are clearing away debris from the ruins.

On the ruins of the original wine cellar site, a huge circular metal hidden door slowly appeared.

The metal blades, which were originally level with the ground, contracted outwards like pupils, revealing a bottomless cylindrical space below.

The workers gathered around the hidden door, peering down with curiosity.

Inside the cylindrical space, dozens of points of light lit up, first as faint arcs, then rapidly expanding into stable and cold blue-white reactor halos, layer upon layer, reviving along the annular well wall.

The darkness was torn apart by the light from the reactor on the armor's chest.

Before the onlookers could react, the first metallic figure shot into the sky, its alloy shell scraping the edge of the wellhead, bringing with it a gust of wind and scattered stones.

Then came the second, the third, the tenth...

Dozens of suits of steel armor of various shapes formed a steel torrent, shooting out one after another from the circular hidden door, breaking through the dust and smoke of the ruins, leaving blinding streaks of light in the dim sky.

Some people cried out and backed away, while others hurriedly raised their phones to take pictures, but all they captured was a fleeting afterimage of something moving away at high speed.

Jarvis's electronic voice echoed quietly in the empty hangar: "The family party plan has been activated. All units will assemble at the designated coordinates."

Above the ruins, only the still-trembling wellhead and a group of workers, dumbfounded and standing there, remained.

The president was locked inside the Steel Patriot armor, which was suspended by steel cables from the metal truss of the dock crane.

On the ground directly below him, the Killian men had piled up a tall stack of firewood and fuel, forming a huge pyre that resembled a Christmas tree.

As soon as the Christmas bells ring, the Extremist soldiers will breathe fire onto the pyre and burn the hanging president alive, along with his armor.

Peter, Gwen, Tony, and Rhodes had already quietly arrived.

The group devised a simple plan: Tony and his Iron Legion would engage the guards head-on, drawing everyone's attention.

Gwen, skilled in stealth and extremely adept at controlling Extremis soldiers, seized the opportunity to rescue the president and then search for Pepper, who was hidden somewhere.

The steel legion, accompanied by the roar of its thrusters and sonic booms, flew over the dock, attracting the attention of everyone present.

Tony raised his hands with a flourish: "Merry Christmas, everyone. Jarvis, lock down all Extremis carriers and send them to heaven."

"Received, sir."

A suit of armor flew towards Tony, and Rhodey, standing nearby, said enviously, "Give me one too."

"Sorry, they were all custom-made to my size, you can't use them."

Tony's words were obviously nonsense. He just wanted to see his good brother get humiliated while he showed off in front of him.

Tony, fully dressed, was the first to engage in battle.

Rhodes gave him the middle finger as he walked away, then asked Gwen, "Could you bring the president to me? I need to put on my Iron Patriot suit and continue my counterterrorism mission."

"No problem." With that, Gwen shot out a spider silk thread, which swung into the night sky.

Peter helplessly shrugged at Rhodes: "Just wait, Gwen will bring your armor and the president back."

He conjured a Vishanti sword in each hand and reached out to a group of Extremis soldiers patrolling the ground.

The Steel Legion and the Extremist Soldiers clashed fiercely as soon as they met.

Under Jarvis's control, the armored vehicles used their aerial advantage to continuously fire at the Extremis soldiers.

With palm-sized cannons and miniature missiles firing in unison, the soldiers in dire straits were quickly suppressed.

But it was merely suppression.

The soldiers of the Extremis are tough and resilient. At most, a palm strike will only cost them a chunk of flesh. Unless a missile explodes close to their face or they are hit by the reactor in their armor's chest, other injuries will only waste a few seconds of their recovery time.

After realizing they couldn't reach the armor, they climbed onto the dock's cranes and scaffolding, then leaped at the armor suspended in mid-air, melting the metal with their high temperatures before tearing it apart.

After confirming that the armor was incapacitated, Jarvis directly controlled the armor's reactor to overload and self-destruct.

Christmas fireworks, costing anywhere from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of dollars, began to explode in the sky above the dock.

Taking advantage of everyone's attention being drawn to the Iron Legion, Gwen grabbed a spider silk and dangled down from the top of the scaffold, coming to President Matthew.

She tore off the steel cables binding the Iron Patriot's hands and left with the armor weighing hundreds of kilograms.

Gwen, holding the Steel Patriot in one hand, swung it in front of Rhodes.

After Rhodes switched to the Steel Patriot armor, he also joined the battle.

Peter is facing seven desperate soldiers alone.

He wielded the two Vishanti swords into an impenetrable barrier, allowing him to calmly face the encirclement of the desperate soldiers.

All the scorching fists and feet that reached out to him were easily severed by the sword of Vishanti.

Apart from extremely hard materials such as vibranium, adamantium, or Uru steel, and physical bodies of the Hulk and Thor's caliber, other mortal objects are like paper before a sword made of magic.

Seizing a gap in the group's coordination, Peter swung his sword and severed both hands of a Desperate soldier. He then closed in on the soldier and slashed his sword across the head of the soldier who couldn't dodge in time.

Half of his head rose up, and the desperate soldier, whose head was now only half neatly cut, fell helplessly.

The tragic death of their comrade terrified the remaining six Extremis soldiers present.

Together they breathed flames at Peter, but Peter's Vishanti sword in his left hand transformed into the Ring of Raghadore, blocking all the flames.

Peter charged through the flames to a soldier from the Desperate Squad, and the Vishanti Sword emerged from behind the ring, beheading him in one strike.

The remaining Extremis soldiers breathed out their flames and looked at Peter with fear in their eyes.

Peter noticed the look in their eyes and began to wonder if he should pretend to be exhausted to trick them into continuing the fight.

After all, if they were scared out of their wits and ran away, his short legs couldn't keep up with these super soldiers whose running speed could crush Bolt.

Gwen finally found Pepper in a room on the elevated structure, where Pepper was restrained on a metal frame and unable to move.

Those were alloy supports used to secure Extremis soldiers during their transformation. They were heat-resistant and high-strength, and even though Pepper had been completely transformed by the Extremis virus, she was unable to break free from them.

"Pepper, I'm Tony's friend," Gwen said to Pepper.

"Tony? Was he the one making all that noise outside?" Pepper had clearly heard the explosion on the dock, and she asked Gwen, who was dressed in her battle suit.

"Yes, he risked his life to draw fire outside so I could take you away."

As Gwen spoke, she ripped off the alloy shackles binding Pepper.

Just as she was about to leave with Pepper, the two bumped into Killian, who was leading a squad of Extremis soldiers.

Upon seeing Spider-Woman, Killian immediately shielded his men in front of him and turned to run.
