The cigarette in his hand was almost finished, so Peter took out a new one from the pack, put the black filter in his mouth, and lit it with the still-burning cigarette butt in his hand.

Peter picked up the bottle of whiskey and drank it all in one gulp, then opened a second bottle.

He poured Wang a glass, then drank it himself and said, "It's not that hard to have your cake and eat it too."

The difficulty isn't "how to date two people at the same time," but "how to date three people at the same time."

What truly made the two women accept each other was that Tony didn't abandon them even when facing the threat of death. When love transcends life and death, all other difficulties can be overcome.

Peter leaned back on the sofa, gazing at the starry sky outside the window: "The good news is, there are plenty of opportunities in our universe to prove to them that your love transcends life and death. The bad news is, you all better survive."

Peter thought about the fates of the King's two lovers, both of whom seemed to have met their demise. Looking at it that way, Old Wang was quite pitiful. Of course, in this timeline, Mr. Parker would definitely protect him.

Peter shook the bottle and said to Wang, who was pouring him a drink, "Finally, you need to know the cruelest truth: you can never find a balance between two people you love. You can't pour your love into them completely equally. You can only make them feel that you've done your best."

While monitoring the uploaded data, Tony asked, "Why did you suddenly drink so much?"

Peter formed a hand seal, and the Eye of Agamotto on his chest opened and closed under the control of the seal, revealing the Time Stone inside: "The Ancient One is dead."

Tony, already aware of the Sorcerer Supreme's importance to Earth, asked incredulously, "Was it a dimensional invasion? Which being killed the Sorcerer Supreme?"

Thor, who had been staying in the lab to prevent Jarvis from going berserk, was also quite surprised to see the Time Stone on Peter's chest. Odin's simpleton could recognize the stone, but he couldn't understand why the Sorcerer Supreme's relic would be on Peter.

Peter felt his face was burning hot, and random thoughts kept popping into his head, perhaps because he was drunk.

He got up from the sofa and walked into the elevator next to the laboratory.

The elevator stopped in the living area inside the building, which was the accommodation Tony had prepared for the Avengers; everyone had their own.

Peter walked to Gwen's room and rang the doorbell.

The door was quickly opened, and Peter saw Gwen in her pajamas.

"Peter?" Gwen smelled alcohol on Peter and asked, "Did you go drinking? What's wrong? Are you in a bad mood?"

Peter said, sounding aggrieved, "A little, so—I need some comforting."

Gwen opened her arms, Peter stepped forward, hugged Gwen, and then closed the door with his foot.

At the entrance to the room, Peter held Gwen in his arms, rubbing his burning face against her skin on her face and neck, inhaling the scent of the shampoo, and exhaling his hot breath onto her neck.

Gwen gently patted Peter's back and asked softly, "Why are you in a bad mood?"

"I feel a heavy burden on my shoulders."

The two were pressed close together, and Gwen's chest was now squeezed out of shape.

Peter felt the beautiful curve of her skin through their clothes, and his lips landed on Gwen's neck, which was warmed by his face.

Peter's lips traveled up Gwen's neck, and he pinched her chin, kissing her lips that parted slightly as she exhaled.

Peter quickly sensed the girl's somewhat awkward response.

Gwen's jaw was roughly pried open, and Peter pressed her against the wall at the entrance of the room, as if this would make them fit closer together.

Gwen's breathing began to become as hot as Peter's, and her lips and tongue responded no longer clumsily, but with extreme passion, constantly melting away Peter's rationality.

Peter cradled Gwen's hips with one hand, while the other explored beneath her thin nightgown. The girl's breath, sometimes rapid, sometimes slow, drifted with the movement of his hand, exhaling onto Peter's nose.

Gwen lifted her feet off the ground and wrapped them around Peter's waist, pressing their bodies tightly together.

Just as Peter's fingers gently hooked the elastic band of his pajama bottoms, intending to take it a step further, Gwen screamed softly, "No!"
