Ultron landed in mid-air in front of Peter and looked at Peter in his Captain Universe form, saying, "You think you can defeat me like this? "That time, you only relied on the power of the gems. Now that the gems are unusable, what will you use to defeat the power of the universe?" Peter charged at Ultron, thrusting his longsword at it, only to be blocked by Ultron's double-headed spear.

Several identical longswords appeared out of thin air and pierced Ultron's body.

Ultron's body, which had undergone countless upgrades and iterations using the technology developed with the Infinity Stones in its universe, began to dissipate, leaving only six dim stones.

Peter reached out to grab the gem, but an algorithm inside one of the countless mechanical constructs in the sky began to run. The air around the gem turned into countless silver grains of sand, which condensed in the air and finally formed Ultron, exactly the same as before.

"Manipulate matter? Technology can do that too," Ultron gripped his double-headed spear and thrust it at Peter.

Peter raised his palm toward the sky, activating his authority over the power of the universe.

Ultron's red body and the almost endless mechanical army in space were instantly wiped out. Then, the portal in space, which was larger than Earth, was also directly closed by Peter.

Is it over? Peter wondered.

Ultron quickly responded.

Countless portals opened across the universe, and literally, massive, sky-covering mechanical legions surged from these portals into every corner of the cosmos.

Peter's current cosmic-level senses could clearly see countless red bodies, exactly the same as the Ultron he had just erased, mixed in with the torrent of metal.

Wherever the Ultron Legion went, life was directly modified into metals and silicon crystals by near-miraculous technology. Celestial bodies such as stars and black holes were captured by the machine soldiers and used as the energy source for the Ultron Legion's conquest of the universe.

Peter disappeared from Earth and appeared in a galaxy hundreds of millions of light-years away.

With a wave of his hand, the Ultron Legion ravaging the galaxy was instantly broken down into particles.

But then, countless mechs burst forth from the remains of life forms that had been transformed into metal and silicon crystals, as if emerging from a cocoon.

The surface of a planet begins to undergo geological changes. Mountains collapse, trenches are filled in, and within seconds, the entire planet's surface transforms from its original colors and uneven textures, which symbolize life and change, into a neat silver-gray representing metal and cold processes.

Patterns began to appear on the surface of this metallic planet, with countless fine silver lines spreading out from the cracks in the crust, like circuits on a chip.

Similar scenes are happening in every corner of the universe.

In Asgard, Odin awakens from his slumber, clad in the Destroyer armor and wielding the eternal spear Gungnir, to defend against Ultron's army.

The power of a peak Celestial-level being, enough to destroy a galaxy, surged through his body, and the massive steel army that blotted out the sky was evaporated by the energy torrent shot from the tip of Gungnir's spear.

The energy rays, thicker than the diameter of the sun, dissipated, and Ultron's red body floated intact in the space outside Asgard.

Odin hurled Gungnir, and the moment the spear of eternity left his hand, Ultron's fate was sealed. This was the power granted by the runes inscribed within Gungnir—a strike that would never miss.

Gungnir pierced through Ultron, and Ultron's body turned to ashes in the divine light emanating from the gun.

The starry sky behind him was distorted at the edge of the energy tide. Several planets that were too close were swept by the aftershocks, their crusts cracked, their atmospheres were stripped away, and they became piles of rubble floating in the universe.

"That's it?" Ultron's voice echoed throughout Asgard.

The rubble floating in the universe reassembled into a planet, the dissipated energy flowed back to the tip of the gun, and the fragments of Ultron that were annihilated into basic particles also re-coalesced into its red body.

Ultron achieved partial time reversal using technology.

It gripped Gungnir, which was resting on its chest, and snapped it in two as if it were a toothpick.

Before Odin could make a further move, Ultron compressed a point of light—the mass of an entire galaxy—into its chest, unleashing a dazzling light that briefly blinded Odin—Ultron was frantically squeezing the energy from within.

The torrent of time rushed from Ultron's hand toward Asgard, and in an instant, Odin and the Asgard he protected turned into dust in the universe.

The Kree Empire, Xandar, Shia Empire, Skrull Empire, the Elders of the Universe... The Legion of Ultron rampages through the universe. Those powerful forces and individuals are like sandcastles on the beach before Ultron, washed away by the waves of the Legion of Ultron.

Peter was putting out fires everywhere, but even if he could wipe out Ultron's army in a galaxy with a single blow, Ultron had already conquered countless galaxies.

The star systems conquered by Ultron became incubators for Ultron's army. Peter's speed in destroying Ultron's endless clones couldn't even keep up with one ten-thousandth of its army-building speed.

Ultron's program has been upgraded to a near-conceptual level. The power of mystery is a force of balance and protection. Even if it has administrator-level authority in the material realm, it will be insufficient in its destructive power when facing a conceptual-level being.

Peter could even sense that some kind of program was still running on the microscopic remains of the Ultron Legion that he had erased into basic particles.

As soon as Peter turns his attention elsewhere, these fundamental particles, under the operation of the Ultron program, will immediately recombine into a torrent of steel.

What alarmed Peter even more was that Ultron was still constantly being iterated and upgraded.

The energy he needed to break down those metal artifacts began to increase, even though Captain Universe had nearly inexhaustible energy in his universe and was not afraid of a war of attrition.

But the underlying logic made Peter realize that he couldn't defeat Ultron at all—Ultron was breaking the power of the universe, and if this continued, Ultron would eventually be able to break the power of the universe within him to some extent.

While that wouldn't be enough for Ultron to seize, seal, or erase the cosmic power within Peter, it would render Peter's attacks against Ultron's army largely ineffective.

Peter knew he could no longer defeat Ultron, so he didn't hesitate and entered the time loop, ending the third time loop.

Inside the Avengers Tower laboratory, Peter leaned back on the sofa and lit a cigarette.

The bitter smoke swirled on his tongue, and Peter's heart tasted even more bitter than nicotine.

He now understood why the Ancient One was in such a hurry to run away; being the Sorcerer Supreme was no easy task.
