Primordial Era: Starting with the Immortals of the Jie Sect to Prove the Dao of Hunyuan

On Kunlun Mountain, in front of Yuxu Palace, the sound of bells echoed.

The Primordial Celestial Venerable sat upright on a cloud bed, with a large seal suspended above the furnace amidst auspicious clouds above his head.

The seal was entirely dark yellow, with a coiled dragon carved on the knob. The seal body was covered with innate divine patterns on all four sides, faintly revealing a heavy sense of suppressing heaven and earth.

The Fantian Seal was forged from half of the broken Buzhou Mountain.

Mount Buzhou was formed from the spine of Pangu, bearing countless eons of heaven and earth. Although it was broken by Gonggong, the power of Pangu contained within the mountain did not dissipate.

Yuanshi Tianzun spent many years refining it with endless Xuanhuang Qi and polishing it with Yuqing Immortal Light, finally creating this acquired treasure.

Once this seal was completed, a tremendous power that could suppress all the heavens emanated from it.

Antarctica.

The Primordial Celestial Venerable spoke, his voice not loud, yet it resounded throughout the Jade Void Palace.

The Old Man of the South Pole entered from outside the hall, bowed, and said, "Disciple is here."

"Go and ring the golden bell to summon all the disciples to Jade Void Palace."

The Antarctic Immortal accepted the order and turned to leave the main hall. Before long, the sound of a golden bell rang out above Mount Kunlun, ringing out nine times in succession, spreading throughout the primordial world.

Most of the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect were currently meditating on the Jade Purity Great Law in their respective caves. Upon hearing the bell, they immediately rose to their feet.

Streaks of light rose from all corners of the primordial world, flying towards the Jade Void Palace on Kunlun Mountain.

Before long, the twelve Golden Immortals gathered in the hall.

The Primordial Celestial Venerable's gaze swept over the disciples below, lingering on Guang Chengzi for a moment before looking at Taiyi Zhenren, and finally settling on Randeng Daoren.

Although Randeng was the vice leader and his cultivation had reached the level of a Great Luo Golden Immortal, Yuanshi Tianzun always kept him somewhat distant.

Yuanshi Tianzun raised his hand, and the Xuanhuang seal flew out and hung above the main hall.

The great seal slowly turned, casting a dark yellow light that enveloped the entire Jade Void Palace.

The disciples felt an invisible pressure pressing down on their shoulders, as if a mountain was hanging over their heads, ready to crush them at any moment.

The Primordial Heavenly Dao said, "I have summoned you here today for two reasons. First, to find a master for this seal. Guang Chengzi, as the senior disciple of the Chan Sect, you will be in charge of the Fantian Seal."

Guang Chengzi was overjoyed and stepped forward to bow down, saying, "Thank you, Master!"

The Heaven-Turning Seal fell from the roof of the palace and slowly floated to Guang Chengzi's front.

Guang Chengzi took it with both hands, and felt a sudden weight in his hands, as if he were holding a mountain.

The expression on the face of the Taoist Ran Deng was dark and inscrutable. He originally thought that the grand summons to Kunlun Mountain was to bestow this spiritual treasure upon him, but he did not expect that the Celestial Venerable of the Primordial Beginning would not even glance at him and would directly give the Fan Tian Seal to Guang Chengzi!

Yuanshi Tianzun didn't care about Randeng's thoughts and nodded slightly. Guangchengzi continued after returning to his class: "The witches and demons have been destroyed, and humanity will rise again."

Since the founding of my sect, I have been practicing in the Kunlun Mountains and have had little contact with the outside world.

Now is the time to spread the Way throughout the land; you must not remain confined to the mountains any longer.

"Go among the human race and spread the teachings of my Chan Sect, and do not tarnish the name of my Chan Sect!"

All the disciples responded in unison, "We will respectfully obey our Master's decree."

Then, Yuanshi Tianzun specifically mentioned, "On the shores of the East Sea, in the Wuyi Mountains, there is a Shangqing Shenxiao Sect, which was established by Xuanqiong in his early years. It teaches thunder magic and accepts human disciples. When you pass by, you can go and see how Xuanqiong spreads his teachings."

The disciples were startled. Xuanqiong was a disciple of the Jie Sect, yet the Primordial Heavenly Venerable had sent them to observe the Jie Sect disciples preaching. This implied only one thing: what the other party was doing was the inevitable trend of the times!

Manjushri's expression changed slightly. He had some grudges with Li Qing back then, but the other party's cultivation speed was extremely fast, leaving him far behind. Therefore, he had almost forgotten about this past event over the years. Now that Yuanshi Tianzun brought it up, he found that he still felt awkward!

After giving a few more instructions, the immortals set off from Kunlun Mountain, riding the clouds eastward, and soon arrived at Wuyi Mountain.

The immortals looked down and saw that Wuyi Mountain was indeed as Yuanshi Tianzun had said, with its beautiful scenery and abundant spiritual energy.

At the foot of the mountain, there is a human settlement with wisps of smoke rising from its chimneys, and children playing by the stream. Halfway up the mountain, there is a stone archway with five large characters inscribed on it: "Shangqing Shenxiao School." The calligraphy is vigorous and powerful, and one can vaguely see the lingering charm of the Shangqing Immortals.

There are not many buildings in the mountains, only a few palaces and dozens of stone houses, scattered on various peaks in a well-organized manner. The palaces are not large, but they are clean and tidy, exuding a sense of tranquility.

Several young disciples were practicing lightning techniques on the edge of the cliff. Lightning crackled and popped in their palms. Although the power was not strong, their foundation was solid, and every move they made was well-structured.

"Gentlemen, seeing this, I am moved. Perhaps I should go and take a look?"

Taiyi Zhenren, who would later become the founder of the Qingwei School, saw the Shenxiao School and his heart stirred. He then smiled and said...

"good."

Everyone agreed, so Taiyi Zhenren descended from the clouds and walked up the mountain.

The protective array of the Shenxiao Sect sensed his presence, trembled slightly, and then calmed down.

At the mountain gate, a young Taoist priest was sweeping the stone steps. Upon seeing the True Man Taiyi, he bowed and asked, "Where do you come from, Taoist Master?"

"I am Taiyi, the founder of the Chan Sect. I was sent down the mountain by my master to spread the teachings. I am passing through Wuyi Mountain and have come to pay my respects."

A hint of surprise flashed in the young Taoist's eyes; he had heard of the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect. He hurriedly stepped aside and said, "Please come in, Taoist Master. The Sect Leader is currently cultivating in the mountains; I will go and inform him immediately."

Taiyi Zhenren waved his hand: "No need to trouble yourself, I'll just walk around by myself."

Having said that, he bowed slightly to the five characters of Shangqing Shenxiao Sect, and the immortal light of Shangqing shone down, and the figure of Taiyi Zhenren disappeared.

After observing the Wuyi Mountains for a while, the Twelve Golden Immortals each gained some insights and then dispersed into the primordial world to spread their teachings.

Following his senses, Taiyi Zhenren arrived at the Huaxu tribe.

Li Qing sensed the aura of Taiyi Zhenren, opened his eyes, and nodded slightly as his gaze fell upon him.

"Greetings, Fellow Daoist Taiyi."

Taiyi Zhenren stepped forward and solemnly bowed, saying, "Taiyi of the Chan Sect greets Senior Brother Xuanqiong."

Taiyi Zhenren didn't think much of most of the disciples of the Jie Sect.

Even if those born of fur and horns, or born from moisture and eggs, become disciples of sages, they will find it difficult to achieve the Great Dao.

But Li Qing was different. This disciple of the Jie Sect cultivated so fast that even the Primordial Heavenly Venerable praised him. During the Daoist debate at Kunlun Mountain, it was this senior brother who single-handedly preserved the reputation of the Xuanmen, and thus he was deeply respected by the Taiyi Zhenren.

Li Qing returned the greeting, stood up, and said, "Fellow Daoist, why are you here instead of cultivating in the mountains?"

"I was ordered by my master to go down the mountain to spread the Dao. My master said that the Shenxiao Sect of Wuyi Mountain was established by Daoist Xuanqiong in his early years. It teaches thunder magic and recruits human disciples. It is quite well-organized and he asked us to observe and learn from it."

Following a preordained connection, I arrived here. "Senior brother, is there something you need?"

Li Qing nodded, looking eastward: "The great god Fuxi is about to descend to earth. I have been entrusted by the goddess Nuwa to wait here."

Taiyi Zhenren's heart stirred, and he said in response, "If Senior Brother does not mind, Taiyi is willing to accompany the Great Emperor to witness the birth of Fuxi."

Li Qing glanced at him and nodded, saying, "Good."
