Panlong, starting from becoming Lin Lei's golden finger

Chapter 61 Delia: Linley, Happy Birthday

Clyde, a level nine warrior, is stronger than Paterson, a level seven warrior.

It endured Hogg's abuse for over an hour before finally passing away.

Hillman went to deal with the body, while Linley and Hogg returned to the front yard living room.

"Father, you will leave the Kingdom of Fenlai in a few days and go to the O'Brien Empire." Linley looked at Hogg with a serious expression. "I have now reached the Saintly level. Even if the people of the Holy See besiege me, I can escape. As long as you are not here, I am safe."

Linley's words silenced Hogg for a moment.

"I understand." Hogg's voice was still hoarse. "In a few days, I, the Hillman family, Ciri, and Wharton will all be leaving."

Hearing Hogg say that, Linley breathed a sigh of relief.

As long as his family isn't here, Lin Lei has nothing to worry about.

"It's getting late." Hogg stood up and let out a long sigh. "Go and rest. I'll have Hillman prepare in the next few days."

As soon as he finished speaking, Hogg walked out of the drawing room.

When Lin Lei stepped out of the reception room, the cold air brought him back to his senses.

Snowflakes drifted down from the sky.

Snowing.

After eliminating Clyde, they learned that the greater enemy was the Church of Light.

This was bad news for Lin Lei.

Fortunately, given Linley's current strength and growth rate, the Holy See of Light is no longer a threat.

However, Lin Lei's current strength is only at the peak of the Saint Realm.

Linley didn't know exactly how many Saint Realms were there within the entire Holy See, or how many were at the peak of the Saint Realm.

Therefore, before his strength reaches the limit of the Saint Realm, or even the God Level, Linley is not prepared to rashly seek revenge against the Holy See.

Back in his room, Lin Lei began his meditation practice as usual.

Silent all night.

Early the next morning.

The entire town of Wushan was shrouded in a blanket of silver.

Walton was building a snowman in the yard under the watchful eye of his butler, Ciri.

Hogg was about to set off for the O'Brien Empire to begin his training, and these past few days, he hadn't disciplined Walton too much for his laziness.

Moving, and a complete move at that, means taking a lot of things with me.

Hogg and Hillman started discussing what they should take with them as soon as it was light.

Fortunately, Lin Lei has a spatial ring, so he doesn't have to worry about having too much luggage.

Linley had been playing with Walton in the yard for a short while when a member of the guard came to report.

An unfamiliar carriage drove into Wushan Town and was asking about Lin Lei.

Upon hearing this, Lin Lei frowned.

I just killed Clyde last night, and now someone is coming to Wushan Town to inquire about me?

However, when Lin Lei stepped out of the mansion and saw the beautiful woman standing in front of the carriage, he froze on the spot.

With her blonde hair and a mage's robe, Delia, who was nearly 1.6 meters tall, stood gracefully in the snow.

"What brings you here?" Lin Lei asked, stepping forward. "The academy hasn't given us our holiday yet, has it?"

"What?" Delia puffed out her cheeks as she looked at Linley. "Just because the academy doesn't give us a holiday doesn't mean I can't come to Wushan Town! Besides, have you forgotten what day it is today?"

Delia's words left Lin Lei completely bewildered.

"Silly boy." Delia rolled her eyes at Linley, then turned and took a gift box from the carriage. "Today is your birthday. You're officially ten years old today."

As she spoke, Delia opened the gift box, and inside was a birthday cake.

"Birthday?"

Lin Lei was stunned for a moment before he realized what was happening.

Today does seem to be my birthday.

However, Linley has been training hard lately, and after learning that Clyde was the man who killed his mother, he has become even more diligent.

In addition, Linley went to the Kingdom of Fenlai last night and kidnapped Clyde.

This caused Lin Lei to forget that it was his birthday.

In fact, not only Linley, but even Hogg and the others had forgotten.

Delia, on the other hand, remembered.

Although Lin Lei never told Delia.

"What are you standing there for?" Delia rolled her eyes at Linley. "Are you just going to let me celebrate your birthday here?"

Lin Lei snapped out of his daze and quickly made way for him, saying, "Please come in."

"Big brother!" Walton, who had been building a snowman, brightened up when he saw Linley bring Delia in. "Is this your sister-in-law?"

Wharton's words caused a hint of embarrassment to flash across Linley's face.

"Walton, what nonsense are you talking about?" Linley rolled his eyes at Walton, then looked at Delia, "Sorry, my brother was just talking nonsense."

"It's alright." Delia smiled, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Hello, my name is Delia, you must be Walton?"

"Hello, Delia," Wharton greeted her. "I heard from my brother at Yale that you like my brother."

"Ahem~" Linley quickly coughed twice to interrupt Wharton, "Delia, let's go inside first!"

As he spoke, Linley led Delia inside, and Walton watched their retreating figures, unable to stop laughing.

Delia's sudden visit caught Linley somewhat off guard.

Even Linley didn't realize that, in fact, after seeing Delia, the hatred in his heart had subsided somewhat.

"Father!" Linley brought Delia to Hogg. "This is Delia, my classmate."

"Hello, Mr. Hogg," Delia greeted Hogg. "My name is Delia."

"Hello!" Hogg looked Delia up and down, then turned to Linley. "Take your classmate out and have some fun. If you need anything, just tell Linley. Don't worry about the trouble. I have other things to do, so I won't bother you young people any longer."

With that, Hogg left with Hillman, leaving Linley and Delia behind.

For a moment, both of them fell silent.

"Um~" *2

Lin Lei and Delia both spoke at the same time: "You go first!"

"Let me go first!" Delia said with a light smile. "Happy birthday, Linley."

Looking at the birthday cake Delia presented to him, Linley felt a surge of gratitude. "Thank you, Delia."

"Let's eat the cake first!" Delia opened the cake box and called to Linley. "After we finish the cake, you can take me for a walk around the area. I need to get back to the academy tonight."

"Not staying a few more days?" Linley asked, somewhat puzzled. "I'm going to the O'Brien Empire in a few days."

"The O'Brien Empire?" Delia seemed a little anxious. "It's so far away, it would take at least two years to travel there and back, and we'd have to cross the Monster Mountain Range. You?"

"Don't worry," Linley said with a smile. "My teacher will escort us. Besides, my teacher is already a Saint-level expert, so it won't be long."

"Then you should be careful too." Delia didn't seem to care that Linley's teacher was already a Saint. "By the way, why are you in such a hurry to go to the O'Brien Empire?"

"My family is a Dragonblood Warrior family, you know that, right?" Linley began, and after Delia nodded, he continued, "My younger brother, Walton, has been diagnosed with Dragonblood Warrior blood, so my father is preparing to send him to the O'Brien Warrior Academy to study."
