Game of Thrones: Dragons have three heads, not three-headed dragons.

Chapter 12 The Deal with Illyrio, Daren's Thoughts

Although Oris was inwardly cursing Illyrio, he remained outwardly calm, only lowering his head in deep thought. Illyrio, seeing this, also remained silent. After a while, Oris spoke, "Lord Illyrio, I believe everything you have said, but the forces of our manor alone are probably insufficient to pose a threat to Westeros."

Illyrio nodded slightly after hearing this and said with delight, "It's not possible now, but that doesn't mean it won't be possible in the future. With the development speed of Oris Manor, it can raise an army of 50,000 in less than two years. I wonder what Lord Oris plans to do then."

Oris looked somewhat taken aback, because almost no one except him knew about the manor's future plans, and somehow Illyrio had learned of the expansion plan. Oris was a little panicked. Since arriving in this world, everything had gone smoothly for him; the only variable was his father Inis's illness, and now this second event was beyond his expectations.

However, after calming down, Oris realized that almost all of Oris Manor's transactions over the years had been conducted through the port of Pentos. It wouldn't be difficult for Illyrio to investigate how much money the manor could make. The fact that Illyrio dared to openly bring those two descendants of evil dragons into the manor also showed that Oris was not someone who would be content to be subservient to others.

After a brief silence, Oris tapped his fingers on the desk, the tapping sound echoing in the room. Just as Illyrio was about to continue persuading Oris, Oris spoke up, "Helping His Majesty Viserys is no small matter. Even with our subsequent expansion plans, landing in Westeros will not be easy. I wonder what other assistance Lord Illyrio can offer."

After Oris finished speaking, he stared into Illyrio's eyes. Illyrio wasn't stupid; the meaning behind Oris's words was already quite clear: if Illyrio wanted to help, he had to provide tangible benefits.

Illyrio understood the meaning behind Oris's words and immediately said without hesitation, "I can sell 20% of my assets in Pentos to support the subsequent military expansion plan."

Oris hesitated slightly after hearing this, because in Oris's mind, Illyrio only treated Viserys and his sister as pawns. Apart from supporting the two siblings, he only gave them three petrified dragon eggs when Daenerys married Khal Drogo, and he was extremely stingy when it came to money.

Oris didn't dwell on it further; all he needed was for Illyrio to offer tangible benefits. It was simply a matter of using his silver hair to further attract Robert's attention and provide cover for Illyrio's plan, but this amount of money probably wouldn't be enough.

Thinking of this, Oris immediately said, "With Lord Illyrio's support, I don't think there will be much of a problem with money. However, I'm afraid I'll need to discuss with His Majesty Viserys how to enter Westeros."

Without hesitation, Illyrio replied, "Then please take good care of His Majesty Viserys, Lord Oris. I will then take Princess Daenerys back with me."

Oris frowned upon hearing this, thinking to himself, "This old fox is planning to take Daenerys back and sell her for a good price." Without hesitation, Oris said, "Since His Majesty Viserys intends to stay here for a while, please allow Princess Daenerys to stay as well. After all, Princess Daenerys probably doesn't want to be separated from her brother."

Before Illyrio could even object, Orris walked around the desk, wrapped her arms around his neck, and whispered in his ear, "I heard that a merchant ship from Assassin brought three dragon eggs. I wonder if Lord Illyrio has heard of them?" Upon hearing Orris's words, Illyrio struggled slightly, but in an instant, Orris was certain that the dragon eggs that were part of Daenerys's dowry were in Illyrio's hands. Orris remained outwardly calm, thinking to herself, "Illyrio probably just acquired the three dragon eggs. He definitely won't take them out without giving him some time to try and hatch them."

Oris and Illyrio then went out and followed the hoofprints, finding Daenerys chatting amiably with the Viserys siblings. Oris beckoned Daenerys to his side, giving the Viserys siblings and Illyrio time to discuss their matter. Oris then said to Daenerys, "What do you think, Daenerys?"

Darren was taken aback by this, then smiled shyly. "It seems you really like this little girl," Oris said.

Although Daenerys, who is 11 years old this year, still looks like a child, it is already clear that she will be a beauty in the future. Daren is two years younger than Oris and is already twelve years old this year. Although he is tall, he still has the mentality of a child and cannot suppress his expression when facing the girl he likes.

Looking at Daenerys's foolish expression, Oris didn't know whether to praise or scold him. Daenerys had studied and trained under Oris since childhood, possessing great talent in combat and military command, but he hadn't paid much attention to learning about interpersonal relationships and governance. Oris could see through Daenerys's thoughts, and so could Viserys and Illyrio. The only question was what price Viserys would offer to sell Daenerys to his foolish brother.

Oris looked at his brother's miserable expression for a moment, then said to Daenerys, "You like Daenerys, don't you?"

Darren's smile faded after hearing this, and he nodded silently. Darren hadn't hidden anything from Oris; although Oris was only two years older than him, he had cared for him like a father since childhood. Looking at Darren's expression, Oris said softly, "Since you like him, then go for it. Viserys and his sister will be staying at the manor for a while. During that time, spend more time with Daenerys. As for Viserys, you can send him to the military camp. With Porch there, there shouldn't be any trouble."

After speaking, Oris patted Daren on the shoulder and walked directly towards Viserys and Illyrio, saying, "Your Majesty Viserys, has Lord Illyrio informed you of the upcoming arrangements?" Viserys frowned and replied, "Illyrio has told me everything between you two. I'll be staying here from now on. Give me the best room in the main castle."

"That's just right, this is the Viserys I've always imagined," Oris thought. "Yes, Your Majesty, I will do my best to entertain you and Princess Daenerys. I will bring the army commanders to see you in a couple of days," Oris said.

Viserys's smugness was written all over his face after hearing Oris's words. Oris smiled back at Viserys's expression, showing no sign that he had already considered Viserys a dead man.

That evening, at the Oris Manor, Oris introduced the members of the manor to Viserys and Daenerys. He then served Illyrio and his entourage the manor's finest wines and meats. After a pleasant banquet, Oris summoned Daren to his study.
