Game of Thrones: Dragons have three heads, not three-headed dragons.

Chapter 60 Return to Dragon City, the New Sub-Dragon

Oris kept an eye on the Golden Company's ships through the hurricane's perspective until they headed south. Only then was Oris relieved. The next task was simply to clean up the battlefield. Oris left 3000 soldiers to continue garrisoning the area and selected Jabba from his personal guard as a temporary commander to defend Pentos for a short period.

Jabba was born in the Summer Isles and was sold into slavery in Tyros when he was a child. Because of his good physical condition, he was valued and became a blacksmith slave. When Oris liberated Tyros, he joined Oris's army. Because of his bravery in battle, he was recruited into the guard by the gods. This time, he was brought out by Oris to support the army. In the war against the Golden Company, he followed Oris closely and was discovered by Oris to become the temporary commander of Pentos.

After defeating the Golden Company, Oris quickly advanced towards Three Dragons, fearing that while the Golden Company was engaged, Valentis might launch a surprise attack on Three Dragons or Oris himself. A week later, Oris returned to Three Dragons after a long journey. From Alissan, he received the best news: the Tiger Party and the Elephant Party of Valentis were still arguing about whether to send troops. The Tiger Party's leader was naturally prepared to send troops, but the Elephant Party's leader, Nessos-Vesama, believed that the Golden Company plus Braavos was enough to defeat Oris, so he decided not to send troops for a surprise attack.

Upon learning this, Oris immediately dispatched Jorah Mormont to Volantis on his behalf to convey Oris's peaceful stance. At the same time, by using Jorah's Westeros identity, Oris indicated that his goal was to keep Volantis on guard as much as possible. Oris also sent men with a considerable amount of gold and silver to bribe the Elephantist governor, since the Elephantists were currently powerful in Volantis, while the Tigers still hoped to use their army to seize the city of the Three Daughters.

After sending out his envoy, Oris breathed a sigh of relief. The New Valyrian Empire was in turmoil. The Braavos affair was still unresolved, and he had just fought a battle with the Golden Company. Although Oris had won this battle, if Volantis continued to send troops, Oris would be caught in a pincer movement. At that time, the enemy would know that the country's military strength was weak. Even if Oris defeated the two free trade city-states, the rebellion at home would exhaust Oris's strength. Therefore, it was not too much to be cautious now.

Having just returned to Three Dragons City, Oris, aside from checking on Viserys and the dragon eggs, immediately immersed himself in his study to deal with the increased state affairs. Jennifer and Alexandra, one a civil official and the other a military leader, had managed to stabilize the situation around Three Dragons City, but the large number of Andals and Rhoynar people sent by Oris's army still required Oris's personal attention.

After the Andals migrated to Westeros in large numbers of nobles, they found it difficult to form stable settlements and lived in villages. The Rhoynar, after the collapse of the original Rhoynar Empire, also lived in settlements like the Andals. Auris brought back nearly 100,000 people from both races, who were initially settled around the Three Dragons. However, as the amount of unclaimed land decreased, one-third of the refugees from both races could not be settled.

Upon seeing this, Oris promptly settled the remaining refugees near Dragon Manor. Dragon Manor was located south of Pentos, close to the Controversial Lands and Myr. This flat area was frequently visited by mercenaries from the Controversial Lands, and its small population made it ideal for settling refugees. It also connected the Controversial Lands and Pentos into one area.

Oris received letters from Daren and Bono. Everything was normal in Braavos. Bono would occasionally engage in battle with the Braavos army, but both sides suffered few casualties. Oris didn't know what the Braavos Sea King was up to, so he could only remain inactive.

For the next period of time, Oris was stationed in Three Dragons City, receiving intelligence from all sides while guarding against a possible surprise attack from Valentis. Just as Oris came across the news of Margaery Tyrell and Renly's marriage, Qyburn knocked on the door and reported to Oris, "Your Majesty, the dragon eggs seem to have undergone some changes."

Oris hurried toward the Black Prison. While Oris was away on campaign, Qyburn had been handling the cultivation of the dragon eggs. This was also the first time Oris had entrusted his blood magic to someone else, so as soon as he heard that the dragon eggs had changed, Oris couldn't wait to go and check on the situation.

When Oris arrived at the Black Prison, the first thing he saw was Viserys, whose eyes were sunken and who looked like a human. Normally, Viserys would never stop talking when he saw Oris, but this time it seemed that Viserys did not have the strength to speak.

Oris ignored Viserys as he crouched down to examine the wyvern egg. The original patterns on the egg had turned blood red, and it even emitted a faint red glow in the dark environment of the dungeon. Without further hesitation, Oris used blood magic to examine the wyvern egg. His consciousness entered the egg, and Oris saw the creature inside. Rather than a long-winged dragon, this thing was more like Rodan, which Oris had seen in his previous life. It had extremely large wings, a sharp head like a bird, and claws in front of its wings.

Oris continued to probe with blood magic and discovered that the Rodan did not have fire-breathing organs, but its skin was unusually tough and covered with an unknown coating.

Upon regaining his consciousness, Oris immediately used his own blood to catalyze the hatching of the dragon egg. Two hours later, the dragon egg hatched, and Oris saw the creature that resembled Rodan, its surface covered with dark red slime. As soon as it was born, it crawled toward Oris.

Oris picked up the wyvern, handed Viserys to Qyburn, and walked out of the dark cell. After Oris's testing, this wyvern, born from the eggs of a long-winged dragon and a petrified fire dragon, possessed the appearance of a long-winged dragon and the fire resistance of a dragon worm. At the same time, its flight speed was extremely fast, even surpassing that of the earlier-born Syracuse.

Oris played with his three giant dragons and three whelps in his study. This was the wealth he could leave to his descendants. If the magical tides declined in the future and the dragons could no longer hatch, these three whelps would still be able to maintain the rule of the Beleris family, unlike the Targaryen family, which could only maintain its rule by marrying into the great noble families after the dragons disappeared.

Just as Oris was overjoyed, a guard brought news that Dorne's fleet had arrived at the port. Upon hearing this, Oris immediately changed into proper clothes and went to greet them. He wondered if Dorne had received any news of the Golden Company's invasion, and what their reaction would be; Oris needed to find out. Besides, he was also quite interested in Treyne Sand, the most beautiful Sand Serpent.

When Oris arrived at the dock, he saw the exquisitely dressed girl not far from the merchant ship. She was wearing a thin gauze dress, and her exquisite figure was faintly visible. Her short golden hair was flying in the sea breeze, which made Oris, who had seen and eaten before, swallow his saliva.
