Yu-Gi-Oh!: Don't you have your own cards?

Although the soldiers were still suspicious of You Tian's identity, at Fried's command, they took You Tian back to the stream where they were camping at dusk.

Around the campfire, the shadows of the trees swayed, and a gentle breeze caressed our faces.

You Tian and Fried sat facing each other, while the [Najimo] elf stood behind You Tian with his hands behind his back.

The other warriors around them watched You Tian and the [Sacrifice Demon]'s every move with a hint of tension.

"The story begins a week ago."

In the firelight, Fried slowly began to speak.

"Our plane is inhabited by a large number of card sprites."

"Although the Undead City in the north is inhabited by some evil undead creatures, and the Pandemonium in the west harbors some cunning demons, overall it is still quite peaceful."

"But the whole world has changed since a week ago."

At this point, a hint of sadness appeared on Fried's face.

"A guy who calls himself 'Princess Mononoke' suddenly appeared in this dimension."

"Princess Mononoke?" You Tian raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, Princess Mononoke."

"No one knows where she came from, and no one knows her purpose."

"But the only thing we know is that she brought a Duel Disk that can summon powerful spirits. The spirits she defeats are forcibly sealed inside cards, becoming her servants!"

You Tian frowned.

"At first, the princess found the demons of the Western Pandemonium. Without saying a word, she used the Duel Disk to summon a very powerful spirit, defeated the [Terrifying Ferocious Emperor - Creator Demon], and sealed all the demons into cards."

"Then, she went to the Undead City, defeated its ruler, Hades, and took the throne for herself."

Hearing this, You Tian was slightly puzzled.

"So, according to you, this Princess Mononoke seems to be punishing evil and upholding justice?"

Fried shook his head.

"But later, for some unknown reason, the princess, in her capacity as Hades, ordered the undead to capture other peace-loving elves."

"Now, even though the demons and Hades are gone, everyone's lives are even more difficult."

"I see." You Tian nodded.

"Of course, things are alright now."

"In the Elf Dimension, there are many combat teams like our Otherworld Squad that uphold world peace and uphold justice."

"We don't even consider those mere scum of the undead a threat."

"However, after we held out for three consecutive days, something unexpected happened."

"Those undead bastards actually got the Duel Disk from the princess."

"Through the Duel Disk, they can not only summon powerful undead creatures, but also use evil magic and traps."

"Our combat squads were instantly routed! Many of our soldiers were also sealed into cards."

At this point in the story, the soldiers around him seemed to recall some humiliation, and they all lowered their heads.

Fried slowly picked up his own duel disk.

"Two days ago, by chance, we encountered the lone [Shuten-dōji]."

"This fellow is addicted to alcohol. Last night, I specially obtained some fine wine and lured [Shuten-dōji] to drink it, successfully seizing a duel disk."

"After two days of research, we discovered that the Duel Disk is essentially a way to concentrate the power of many Pokémon into one Pokémon."

"Furthermore, with both sides possessing Duel Disks, the Undead can no longer deal with us at will."

"They must defeat us in a duel in order to unleash the seal."

"Now, we finally have a weapon to fight against the undead army!"

"We contacted the other teams and shared the good news with them."

"Some teams followed our example and successfully captured the Duel Disk."

"Now, we finally have the right to launch a counterattack!"

Fried raised his head and looked around.

You Tian nodded slightly.

"So that's how it is."

"Hmm~ So where did you get your decks from?"

You Tian then asked another crucial question.

At this point, Fried's eyes unconsciously glanced at You Tian's pocket.

"We discovered that if a Pokémon is willing to lend its power to another Pokémon, that Pokémon can use the Duel Disk to materialize the power of that other Pokémon into cards."

You Tian: Oh! Printing cards, right? I'm familiar with that.

"My deck is the sum of the power of all the warriors in our Otherworld Squad."

"Without this deck, we have no way to deal with the undead army."

You Tian nodded and slowly took out the spoils he had just captured from his pocket.

"Here you go."

Fried: !!!

"You!" Fried was somewhat surprised.

The surrounding soldiers were also stunned.

"Don't you still need these cards to fight the undead army?"

Seeing You Tian's actions, the [Sacrifice Demon] standing to the side couldn't help but smile.

"Are you really willing to give up the deck you've already got?" Fried asked.

"Sigh." You Tian sighed helplessly.

"Card dealers love cards, but they acquire them ethically. These things should be more important to you, right? I, You Tian, am not the kind of person who likes to steal other people's things!"

Fried, who received the deck, was slightly moved.

At this moment, the surrounding soldiers finally dispelled their doubts about You Tian.

"Your Excellency Yutian!" Fried's voice trembled slightly.

Thank you for your understanding!

"Hey! No need to thank me! This is what a good boy from Domino Town should do." Yuten quickly waved his hand.

Fried wiped the moisture from the corner of his eye.

"But I have a question," Fried said again.

You Tian: "Go ahead and ask me."

Fried looked at the deck of less than 20 cards in his hand, his hands trembling slightly.

"Why is my deck almost entirely missing?"

Everyone: ...

[Sacrificial Demon]: ...

You Tian: ...

"Haha, so sensitive! I can't even keep a few cards to myself!" You Tian laughed awkwardly.

Everyone: ...

[Sacrificial Demon]: ...

Fried's eyelids twitched.

Sensitive my foot! You've kept a few of these for yourself and taken most of them; I couldn't help but find out!

Amidst the speechless stares of the crowd, You Tian pulled out the other half of the card deck from his pocket.

"Here you go, this time there really aren't any left to hide!"

Fried accepted the card that You Tian handed him with some skepticism.

"1, 2, 3, 4..."

You Tian: ...

"Hey! You old man! Why don't you believe me?!"

Everyone: ...

[Sacrificial Demon]: ...

After counting out 40 cards, Fried finally breathed a sigh of relief. But he didn't immediately put the deck back into his duel disk.

Fried hesitated for a moment, his eyes scanning You Tian.

"Your Excellency You Tian, I actually have a question for you as well."

After a long silence, Fried spoke again.

You Tian: "Hmm? Go ahead."

Fried's gaze fell on Yutian's duel disk.

"Where did you get your Duel Disk? You didn't steal it from the Undead, did you?"

Upon hearing this, all the soldiers turned their gazes to You Tian.

You Tian: "Oh, me?"

"Well, to be honest, I was participating in Duel City in Domino Town before."

"This duel disk is standard equipment for all participants; everyone has one."

"Children's Town?" Fried murmured.

Just now, I heard Lord Yutian say that he is a "good boy of Domino Town".

But where is "Children's Town"? And what is "Duel City"? Is the generation gap between me and young people really that serious now?

Fried looked helplessly at the young soldiers around him, but the others also looked at each other blankly.

[Najimo] seemed to understand the doubts of these warrior elves.

Ah~ This is what happens when a country bumpkin elf doesn't have an avatar residing in the human world. He lives his whole life in an information cocoon, completely unaware that there is such a plane as the human world.

"My master comes from the human world. Domino Town is a city in the human world. He is not an elf, he is a human."

"Nani!"

These words shocked everyone present.

"Run! There's someone there!"

"It's over, it's a human! They killed an elf!"

The soldiers who had been surrounding them just moments before scattered in panic, as if they had encountered a ghost.

In an instant, only a few elves remained around: [The Otherworldly Warrior], [Command Knight], [Captain Who Cuts into the Enemy], and [Warrior Raz].

You Tian: ? ? ? ?

What do you mean? I'm a human, not a ghost! Why are you all so afraid of me?

You Tian looked at Fried, who remained expressionless, with a bewildered expression.

"Oh, please don't mind."

"Actually, Princess Mononoke is said to be a human from the human world. Everyone was scared when they heard that you were human."

"Huh?" You Tian's eyelids twitched, and then he looked at Fried with suspicion.

"Uh, then why aren't you afraid?"

Don't tell me "I'm not afraid, that's all!"

Fried smiled.

"Your servant is quite the joker."

"How could you be a human?"

"I noticed it when we were playing cards; your dueling tactics are utterly despicable and beastly. You're definitely not human!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the soldiers around him who hadn't run away all nodded in agreement.

You Tian: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Seeing Fried's slightly upturned lips, You Tian's eyelids twitched.

Fine, fine! You old fool! You can insult people without using any swear words, huh? So what if your little team is arrogant? Is it really that big of a deal?

Indeed, the well-informed Fried had long ago realized that You Tian was not an elf.

However, he really didn't expect that the boy in front of him was from the same dimension as Princess Mononoke.

Fried thought about it for a moment and vaguely made a decision.

"Your Excellency Yutian! I would like to ask you for a favor!" Fried spoke again.

"Just call me Your Excellency the Beast!" You Tian replied irritably.

"Tell me what it is."

The [Sacrifice Demon] standing to the side was trying hard to suppress his laughter.

"Your Excellency Youtian..." Fried paused here.

He handed the deck of cards in his hand to You Tian.

"Please use this deck and lead us to defeat the Ghost Princess!"
