scoff!

The boots crushed the evil magic staff that had fallen beside Nathan.

Kara's armor was entirely black, with long sleeves and shoulder cloths as red as blood. The explosive gun in her left hand was hidden in her cloak, while the chainsaw sword in her right hand roared as she raised it and pointed it at Nathan in front of her.

Her exposed face was expressionless, and beneath her armor, the muscles on her long legs, enhanced by genetic engineering, were twisted together like tightly wound cables, making her resemble a lioness ready to erupt at any moment.

Nathan, kneeling in the mud, wore an expression of disbelief.

He couldn't believe a mortal dared to speak to him like that. He wanted to sacrifice the person in front of him—yes, the soul of a nun. The master of the subspace would be very pleased.

He almost burst out laughing at this thought, and began to activate the subspace evil energy within his body.

Nathan looked up, his gaze sweeping from the boots on the ground upwards, attempting to channel his psychic energy to kill the nun in front of him through eye contact.

Before he could even see what was happening in front of him, he was kicked hard in the forehead by a black heel, interrupting the spell and causing a spray of blood to splatter.

"Ugh!!"

"When did I ever give you permission to look up at me?"

Carla strode toward the old man she had kicked away. Nathan glanced back and saw smiling faces among the surrounding crowd; he heard snickers.

Blood? I'm bleeding? That's impossible. How did the spell disappear?

The part that had just been burned by the Primarch's flames was tearing at Nathan's will. The excruciating pain in his body and face was now being transmitted to his brain, and the blessing was fading.

But Nathan doesn't intend to die here. He wants to find a way to escape. As long as he returns to the warp, his power will be restored!

He propped himself up and raised his hand to gather the fastest teleportation spell he could remember.

Squeak—clang!

More blood splattered on the ground and mixed into the pool of water. Nathan stared in shock at the severed hand and leg on the ground.

"Ughhhhhh!!!"

The next moment he fell to the ground again, letting out a frantic scream. He was enraged and wanted to kill everyone there, everyone who saw his disgraceful state must die!

Nathan's vision then rapidly approached the ground, until with a "bang," his forehead slammed into the soil.

"Kneel down."

Kara raised her leg and stepped on the back of Nathan's head, the sharp heel of her boot digging into his flesh. She looked at the burns on the traitor's body on the sole of her shoe. This person didn't seem as powerful as she had imagined. It seemed that the Primarch's holy fire had already helped her remove the criminal's claws and fangs.

In that case, the execution can begin.

"You're a butcher just like me..." Nathan struggled to speak, his mouth filled with mud.

"I'm just tired of playing the game of good versus evil... Nobody's saintly..."

He needed to buy time. Tzeentch's blessing gave him resistance to fire, and in a little while, his energy would be fully charged.

"...Spare me! I'll take you to the other side of the veil to uncover the truth!!"

Kara slowly lowered the roaring chainsaw sword and pressed it against Nathan's back.

At that moment, Nathan suddenly felt the indifference of the person above him. She didn't care at all what he had said. From the moment he landed on the Exile Star, his fate was already sealed.

He abandoned his faith and was punished for it.

Minced flesh and juices sprayed out from under the saw teeth like sawdust, and soon the end of the chainsaw sank into Nathan's chest. This weapon was designed to tear through light armor and flesh. Kara only managed to pull out the blood-soaked chainsaw when the saw teeth got stuck between the bone fragments.

She felt the struggling force beneath her feet; it was truly tenacious. It was still alive, the chaotic filth as hard to kill as insects. But it didn't matter; she had killed countless people like this over the years.

Nathan, who was about to lose consciousness, heard the verdict.

"You have strayed from the light of the Divine Emperor, becoming a heretic and traitor, blaspheming humanity—your sins are unforgivable. Now, with steel and trampling, I purify you; in the name of the Divine Emperor, I sentence you to death!"

With a snap, Carla crushed Nathan's skull, then turned and left, gesturing for the nuns who had been waiting to carry out the burning at the stake.

A row of chromium flamethrowers with flames burning at their muzzles rose up, and Nathan's body burst into flames, turning everything, including his cane, to ashes.

As Kara watched the flames soar into the sky and the billowing black smoke, she killed the traitor of the state religion and wiped out the enemy of mankind for the God-Emperor.

Judging by the time, my original body should be back by now.

The Sword of Enlightenment wiped out the entire enemy force.

Several hundred years have passed since that rebellion broke out.

The Exorcist Chapter once launched a campaign to punish traitors, during which many of their brothers-in-arms were sacrificed. Whenever they heard that chaos was rampant on a nearby planet, they would always volunteer to go and quell it.

Emil thought to himself, now that everything is over, when he dies in the future, he can finally face his former chapter leader with equanimity.

All of this is thanks to the arrival of that emperor's son.

Nathan was dead too. When Emil stepped out of the transport ship that had just landed, he saw the flash of fire. The Primarchs of the Bomb Girls seemed to be surprised that the High Primarch had actually managed to kill the leader of the Chaos Warband all by herself.

This is not surprising; the nuns of the Church of England have always been quite fierce, and no one wants to provoke them.

Kara looked at the greatsword in Leo's hand and was happy that Leo no longer had to smash things around like a gorilla.

Of course, she didn't say these words aloud; she had no intention of provoking the Primarch's anger. Thinking of this, Kara couldn't help but chuckle to herself.

Leo planted the Divine Punishment Sword vertically into the ground, his hands resting on the hilt.

Although it was a short time and he didn't do much, he did save an imperial world and finally found a weapon that suited him.

The chapter leader assured himself that he would replenish the ship's navigator team after paying respects to his fallen brothers. Emil told him that they would be staying on the exiled planet for a while to help the humans rebuild their homes, so they wouldn't need navigators as much in the coming days.

Catherine also issued an order stating that once the Holy Commandment resumed communication with the Empire, she would apply to the Inquisition to make up for the supplies owed to Exile.

Things were proceeding smoothly, and even if any trouble arose later, these Space Marines were more than capable of handling it.

Leo led everyone back to the Holy Commandment.

Amidst the boasts of the mechanical sage and the human crew, he once again took his seat at the bridge command post.

The Divine Punishment Sword leaned against the armrest of the seat, and the blacksmith of the Exorcist Legion fitted her with a dark gray scabbard.

The ship is about to return to the warp and recalibrate its course to the gap in the Great Rift: the Watchtower in the Nakmonde Corridor.

Orcs, Genestealers, Chaos Space Marines, Eldar, Demons, and Humans will gather on Vigilant Star to celebrate this grand occasion.

Nakmond Grand Stage, come if you dare!
