Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 154 Nine-Headed Hydra? No Future

Chapter 154 Hydra? No Future

Tony's words dealt a cruel blow to the Rockets, making them realize the unpredictability of the world ahead of time.

"You've been roaming the universe for so long, don't you even have this much common sense?" Tony was quite surprised, because even Star-Lord, whom he considered a seasoned veteran, looked dejected.

Star-Lord was surprised. "What common sense? Does it mean that even if the Guardians of the Galaxy were sold to you as a package, they'd only be worth the price of a small project?" Tony frowned, quite puzzled. Especially since Rocket was also feeling down, even though it was clear from their daily interactions that Rocket and Star-Lord were two seasoned veterans of the cosmos.

"What I'm saying is common sense: making money requires qualifications. If you don't meet that threshold, you don't even have the qualifications to get started."

"The reason Chief Malekith entrusted me with the task of rebuilding Svartafheim is because I am the most suitable!"

Rocket disagreed with Tony, raising his head to retort, "The solution you've provided is the best Stark Industries can offer, but there are countless planets and companies in the universe that could do it better."

Tony laughed and replied to Rocket, "I know Willy Wonka, and we were allies when we were on Earth."

"If the Totland Group has no interest, Chief Malekith will only hand the project over to me."

Rocket said incredulously, "But choosing you isn't the most cost-effective option. Stark Industries, regardless of..."

Neither the technology nor the funding is mature enough. Is it simply because you know Willy Wonka?

Tony nodded: "That's right, that's the only reason. The Dark Elves have been suppressed for too long, and they want to revive."

"But Willy Wonka is now the real boss of the Nine Realms. If the Dark Elves know what's good for them, they will choose to befriend Earth."

"Okay, I understand. Looks like I've learned something new."

Rocket rubbed his face with his paws to suppress his frustration, then stood up and walked towards the spaceship.

Tony wanted to continue comforting Rocket, but Star-Lord stopped him.

"Tony, let Raccoon calm down. He's never experienced anything like this before. After all, he's spent most of his time with the Guardians of the Galaxy since he came out of the lab, and he's never really interacted with anyone properly."

Unlike Rocket, Star-Lord is a former raider who is well-versed in the survival rule of stealing and deceiving whenever possible.

Therefore, he was regretful about not being able to get a share of the spoils from the dark elves, but not too disappointed.

"Quail, you've handled your emotions very well. I'm quite surprised by that."

Star-Lord laughed, somewhat carefree: "Now the Guardians of the Galaxy are following Mr. Willy Wonka."

"Haha, Quill, you're right, you won't lose out anyway."

Earth, in a secluded villa.

"I really want to tear Tony's smug face off. That guy is too arrogant." A deep male voice came from the shadows.

Another voice chimed in: "But he is indeed very lucky, and it's normal for him to be smug. Look, he has already taken his business to space, and even landed a huge contract to rebuild a planet."

"Accept reality. The former king of the East Coast underworld can only vent his frustrations here like a stray dog. A rat in the gutter."

Kingpin's eyes seemed to be spitting fire, enough to burn Pierce to death if he opened his mouth.

But there was nothing he could do; like the Hydras, he had become a stray dog, having lost almost everything.

At the moment of the Totland coup, Kingpin chose to lead his gang to teach the police a lesson in New York, but he didn't expect to run into the line of fire.

He now deeply regrets his past actions. If he could turn back time, he would have stayed obediently in Hell's Kitchen and been the first to jump out and cooperate with Willy Wonka after that night.

It's a pity that you only get one chance; once you miss it, it's gone.

The way Willy Wonka rose to power has been criticized by many, but people are only forced to accept it due to pressure.

But that was before. Everything changed after Willy Wonka demonstrated his power in front of billions of people on Earth and opened a shop in the territory of the Dark Elves.

Willy Wonka is now the most popular president in American history and one of the greatest presidents, alongside George Washington, the founder of the nation.

I know he came to power through a coup, but he can make money with us, and he's making money off aliens, so we definitely have to support him!

That's what everyone thinks. Willy Wonka is a man of his word; he really can make a big cake!

Kingpin's feelings toward Willy Wonka were complex, but toward Stark, there was only hatred.

It was Tony who relentlessly pursued him that night. If it weren't for his cooperation with the Skrulls and his backup plan, he might have really died in New York.

"Pierce, you have quite the attitude. It seems you've completely lost your nerve since S.H.I.E.L.D. You're no longer worthy to be associated with us."

Dr. Zola scoffed, saying he had long harbored a grudge against Pierce.

It was Alexander Pierce's insistence on choosing Nick Fury as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. that caused things to spiral out of control from the very beginning.

A large portion of Hydra's power was hidden within S.H.I.E.L.D., and was buried again with the destruction of S.H.I.E.L.D.

They finally cleared their name, only to become criminals again. If S.H.I.E.L.D. were still around, they might have been able to catch this fast train for humanity's journey into space.

Pierce knew he was in the wrong, and he really didn't have any leverage at the moment, so he could only remain silent in the face of Dr. Zola's sarcasm.

Who told him to make the wrong decision? He should stand at attention when he gets beaten.

A voice from the shadows stopped the meeting from veering off course: "Quiet down, everyone. What we need now is unity. Let's not argue and ruin the harmony."

"There's still a chance; we still have leverage. Before S.H.I.E.L.D. disbanded, they found the Captain's coordinates, and our people successfully prevented the coordinates from being leaked."

"We need to focus our efforts on uncovering the captain. If we can successfully brainwash him, I believe that with his abilities and reputation, we can clear his name again."

Pierce felt the plan was highly unreliable; he couldn't imagine what kind of organization had the capability to brainwash Captain America.

Make Steve Rogers the captain of Hydra and use his virtuous image to whitewash the organization.

Who came up with such a stupid idea? Even the Winter Soldier withstood brainwashing for decades, and now...

To attack Captain America, whose willpower is the strongest?

Go wash up and go to bed!

Pierce was speechless; this idea was even worse than an old lady wearing the same bikini for ten years.

However, he no longer holds the status he once had, and he only manages to occupy a small position at this meeting because of his seniority.

He buried his thoughts in his heart, preparing to find an opportunity to escape Hydra.

After all, he and Frank had some connection, and perhaps he could use him to get in touch with Willy Wonka.

Hydra? There's no future in hanging out with these idiots.
