Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 43 The Banquet Begins

As the setting sun cast its golden rays, the Chocolate Manor was draped in a veil of gold.

All the services for this banquet were provided by chocolate soldiers, who were tall but very skillful.

These chocolate soldiers are perfectly capable of providing ordinary service, and they do it better than regular waiters. Most importantly, they won't divulge any secrets.

Frank gave the estate one last tour, checking the prepared meeting room to make sure no detail was overlooked.

The musical fountain in the manor plays melodious songs, and black swans dance gracefully in the pond to the accompaniment of these beautiful melodies.

The entire chocolate plantation seemed to come alive, and even the sweet aroma in the air was stronger than usual.

Willy Wonka, as the owner, also returned to his loyal chocolate plantation at this time.

The moment he stepped into the manor, the entire manor erupted in cheers, and the manor came alive with life because of Willy Wonka's arrival.

Willy Wonka went to the most conspicuous table in the hall, opened the suitcase he was carrying, and placed the food inside on the table.

The translucent spherical chocolate contained a pale blue liquid, which did not completely fill the gaps, but only occupied half of them.

Upon closer inspection, these pale blue liquids are actually compressed lightning bolts, which form various patterns within the chocolate and are constantly changing.

There are also honey gummies, square gummies with an amber-like texture, each one making one's mouth water.

The long, thin chocolate wafers were placed in a prominent position by Willy Wonka. Each wafer looked ordinary, but since they were made by Willy Wonka himself, they must have something unique about them.

This time, Isabella was driving, piloting the Escalade, a perfect embodiment of Beauty and the Beast.

George was amazed; he had always thought that women wouldn't be the target audience for this type of full-size SUV.

But he was wrong. Isabella was a double star of the Jones family, and muscle cars like these used to be her favorite.

After learning about the power of dominance and discovering that she could wreck a Cadillac Escalade with a single punch, Isabella began to develop a passion for sports cars.

"Sister Isabella, is this the Chocolate Factory?"

Gwen saw a beautiful scene in the distance, bathed in the setting sun, like something out of a movie. She was somewhat incredulous that there was such a beautiful manor.

"Isn't it beautiful? I studied here for a long time when I was a child."

"Don't worry, I'll introduce you all. Just smile at anyone you don't know. No one will give you any trouble."

After saying that, Isabella took George's hand in one hand and Gwen's hand in the other, and walked towards the interior of the manor.

Uncle Frank.

Isabella released their hands and gently hugged Frank.

"Uncle Frank, this is my fiancé George Stacy, and his daughter Gwen Stacy."

After she finished speaking, she gently patted the back of George's hand.

George immediately understood, and he imitated Isabella's earlier action, giving Frank a gentle hug. "Uncle Frank, I'm George Stacy."

Seeing this, Gwen also greeted him, saying, "Grandpa Frank."

Frank, with an impeccable smile, glanced at Gwen with kind eyes.

"A handsome man and a beautiful woman. Isabella, you have good taste."

Isabella gave George and Gwen a sweet smile and said:

"Uncle Frank is an old friend of my dad's, and now he's Mr. Willy Wonka's head butler."

"George, we should treat Uncle Frank to a special meal sometime; he's done us a huge favor."

After entering the hall, George looked around at the novel surroundings while asking Isabella questions.

"Honey, what a huge help Uncle Frank gave us?"

George was curious. He knew Frank was the former president of the Totland Corporation, but this was the first time they had met face-to-face. So he was curious about the great favor his fiancée had mentioned.

"George, you'll be responsible for New York's safety from now on."

George was a little confused; he was now also responsible for New York's security.

Isabella added, "George, from today onwards you can be called Chief George."

She anticipated George's reaction and swiftly covered his mouth with her hand before he could exclaim.

"Isabella, congratulations on finding true love. But you should be more mindful of your behavior in public. Perhaps the co-pilot's seat in the Cadillac Escalade would be a good battleground."

Isabella knew which annoying guy it was without even turning around when she heard those words.

"Karl, if you can't say something nice tonight, you'd better shut up. Otherwise, Mr. Willy Wonka will definitely throw you out of the Chocolate Factory."

Carl pretended not to hear Isabella's words and handed George a glass of champagne.

"Hello George, I'm Carl Gallagher. An officer, kind of like Isabella's older brother."

Isabella rolled her eyes at Karl's words and made a sarcastic face: "Oh~ my neighbor~"

"George, don't listen to Carl, he's a low-IQ bastard."

After saying that, Isabella pulled George to another spot in the hall. There weren't many people there, but the conversation between Carl and Isabella was still noticed by many.

However, people were used to the conflicts between them, so even if they noticed, no one took it to heart; they were just minor squabbles!

George could tell that Isabella and Carl had a somewhat strained relationship, but it wasn't actually a bad one.

Sure enough, after drinking a glass of champagne, Isabella started complaining to George.

"George, you need to stay away from Carl from now on. No, stay away from the Gallagher family. Except for Uncle Frank, they're all a bunch of bad guys."

"Uncle Frank is so upright and kind, how could he have given birth to such a bunch of unruly children?"

"That Carl took me horseback riding when I was five years old, but the bastard had something to do and left early, leaving me alone on the horse. I almost got my head kicked and smashed by the horse."

"And then there was the time when I was nine years old. He somehow got hold of a bunch of mushrooms and dragged us into making mushroom soup. I only found out I was poisoned after I saw the nanny turn into a dog."

George's eyes were opened as he listened to Isabella's rambling.

"In short, there are many such cases; you should just stay away from them."

After Isabella finished speaking, she noticed that Gwen was chatting with a man, and Gwen had a big smile on her face.

Isabella then quietly went around to see the man's face, and was immediately horrified.

Isn't this Carl's even more despicable son! Charlie Gallagher, that bastard who finds ways to squander women's money!
