Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 46 Who set off the fireworks?

It wasn't until he saw familiar surroundings that Tony remembered Willy Wonka's plantation was nearby. But by then, he could no longer contact Willy Wonka.

Tony was almost helpless against this green behemoth; all his attacks were like scraping the surface of a wound.

The biggest effect is to hurt the Hulk, drive him from the city center to the suburbs, thereby reducing the losses and casualties caused by the battle between the two sides.

"Damn General Ross, Willy Wonka is training super soldiers for the military, why isn't he satisfied? And now he's caused such a mess."

"They should deal with this monster themselves, so Ross can learn a lesson!"

Tony kept grumbling, saying that the Hulk was completely helpless against him and couldn't even break through his defenses.

Obadiah was much calmer than Tony. After realizing he couldn't contact Frank, he urgently contacted Robert. The point was to get in touch with the people in Totland as soon as possible and inform them that their chairman's hometown was about to be turned into a battlefield.

Two suits of armor took the lead, accelerated, and blocked the Hulk's path, preventing him from advancing further.

As a heavy armor, the Iron Monger was designed with melee combat in mind from the outset, so it incorporates many modules related to close-quarters combat.

Obadiah manipulated his armor to pull a battle axe from his back, and then the armor on his left arm transformed and unfolded, forming a shield connected to his left hand.

The thrusters on its back spewed fire, giving the Iron Monger powerful momentum. Obadiah swung the axe in a wide arc, and surprisingly, a power system was also installed at the front of the axe. This was a nuclear-powered battle axe.

The axe blade gleamed coldly; Obadiah had once used this move to cleave a 5-centimeter-thick steel plate. He was confident that he could stop the Hulk with this axe.

The Iron Monger's axe was fast and powerful, but the Hulk did not change direction and stretched out his arm to block the axe.

With a bang, the two collided, and the Iron Monger's metal armor made a grinding, teeth-grinding sound.

"Hulk! Hulk!"

The Hulk roared angrily, blocking the axe with one arm and using the other to smash Iron Monger's head.

Obadiah was startled, not expecting the Hulk to not pause at all. However, Obadiah remained calm; he trusted the Iron Monger's defenses, and he had a plan B.

Obadiah, inside the Iron Monger, muttered to himself, "This is a custom-made nuclear-powered tomahawk; it's no ordinary weapon."

Obadiah gave the command, and the axe that the Hulk had been holding began to glow. It was a multi-functional weapon that could be used to chop people down, and it could also fire lasers.

The nuclear fusion device provided the tomahawk with enormous energy, and a dazzling light shone as it shot towards the Hulk's face.

Caught off guard, the Hulk roared with a hint of grievance.

Although Obadiah's laser attack did not cause him any additional damage, not being injured does not mean he was not in pain.

The scorching laser continued to burn the Hulk's skin, forcing him backward.

The thrusters on the Iron Monger reversed, allowing Obadiah to quickly escape from the close-quarters combat with the Hulk.

Tony seized the opportunity, unleashing a barrage of firepower mid-air, his pulse cannon firing continuously. Simultaneously, his shoulder armor opened, launching countless missiles.

"Tony, this can't go on. I feel like he's gotten even stronger."

The Iron Monger's system was also scanning the Hulk, who had become even stronger after suffering a round of attacks.

"Obi, hold on for another 10 minutes. It will take time for my armored regiment to get here. The Iron Monger III's defenses were specially reinforced by me; a new type of alloy was used during its construction."

"Theoretically, the Iron Monger could fight this monster hand-to-hand. As long as it doesn't get hit in its weakest spot, it should last ten minutes!"

After S.H.I.E.L.D. disbanded, Tony also found a lot of information from S.H.I.E.L.D., including special metals that S.H.I.E.L.D. was secretly researching.

With Howard's hints and experimental results, Tony quickly created a new alloy and used it on the Mark III and Iron Monger III.

That's Tony! Obadiah always trusts the Stark family's brains.

So Obadiah turned the Iron Monger's power output to the highest level, picked up the axe again, and charged at it once more.

The Mark III also features a melee module, with a flashy gold and red longsword appearing in Tony's hand, matching the style of his armor.

The longsword can also attack with energy, but unlike Obadiah's nuclear-powered battle axe, Tony's sword can form a high-energy ion layer on its surface to cut enemies.

At this moment, the military helicopters finally arrived, and several Apache attack helicopters circled in the air, locking onto the enraged Hulk with their weapons.

However, due to the fact that the Iron Monger and the Hulk were locked in combat, they only used machine guns for cover and did not use more powerful weapons.

Several long streaks of fire shot out from the machine gun muzzle, the tracer rounds standing out conspicuously in the night sky.

Obadiah's shield had already taken two punches from the Hulk, and dents had appeared on its surface.

Obadiah is under immense pressure right now. He dares not be distracted in the slightest, or the Hulk might find a weakness.

He was overthinking it; with the Hulk's current intelligence, he wouldn't even know what the weakness was. The Hulk just wanted to use his fists to break down the hard metal lump in front of him.

The Iron Monger was already 39% damaged, and the system was constantly issuing warnings. Red exclamation marks kept appearing on Obadiah's screen.

"Tony, if your reinforcements don't arrive in two minutes, I'll be reduced to scrap metal."

Tony was also in a hurry. He would drop down from the air from time to time, and when the Hulk was distracted by the Iron Monger, he would use his energy sword to attack the Hulk's back.

However, the effect was minimal, serving no purpose other than making the Hulk even angrier.

Tony was also conflicted, because his armored legion arriving at the scene didn't seem to be of much use, and the plan to help the military regain control of the experimental subjects had almost no chance of success.

"Damn, is Willy Wonka throwing a party?"

The battle actually took place some distance from the Chocolate Plantation, but for the Hulk, it was only a few minutes' walk.

The fireworks display over the Chocolate Plantation briefly distracted Tony. After lowering his altitude to attack the Hulk's shoulder, he didn't immediately take off to create distance.

The Hulk caught the little bug that kept bothering him, grabbed Mark III's foot, and used it as a weapon to smash it hard against the Iron Monger.

Unlike the Hulk's fist, the impact of the armor swinging around was much greater, and Obadiah was sent flying.

Then the Hulk grabbed Tony and slammed him hard against the ground, first on the left and then on the right.

Thump~ thump~ thump~

The sound traveled for several kilometers!
