Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory
Chapter 72 The Unpopular People of Asgard
Tony was wearing a suit, leather shoes, and his signature black sunglasses.
After confirming that the Bird-Bird Fruit had revitalized Tony, Willy Wonka threw him out of the chocolate factory.
Tony was thrown directly into Pepper's office, and the two stared at each other unexpectedly.
"Tony!"
Pepper Potts came running in her high heels and pounced on Tony.
"Oh, Pepper, I'm fine now."
"Tony, I'm so worried about you. I'm afraid I'll never see you again."
Pepper's tears soaked Tony's chest, and clearly, her tears left Tony somewhat bewildered.
"Tony, do you still stand by your word?"
Pepper lifted her head from Tony's embrace and looked directly into his eyes. This short time was not enough for her to forget Tony's promise.
With the atmosphere already set in this way, Pepper Potts took the opportunity to express her feelings to Tony.
People are fickle. Pepper could sense Tony's feelings, and he had even told her he wanted to marry her. But that was when Tony was dying; now he has recovered.
Tony's gaze shifted from Pepper's eyes to the teardrops still clinging to her face. He swallowed hard, and said in a slightly hoarse voice:
"Pepper, you know me, I won't care about these trivial matters."
"So you need to contact a designer to design a unique wedding dress for you. As for the wedding, I want it to happen as soon as possible, preferably before the spaceship is finished."
……
Tony and Pepper's heartfelt conversation is being broadcast live, and the Ancient One is now very interested in Tony.
"Willy Wonka, you've chosen Tony Stark as your proxy?"
In the Ancient One's eyes, Tony has already been thoroughly infused with Willy Wonka's power. Even through the screen, the Ancient One could smell the sweet scent emanating from Tony.
"Ancient One, it was a mutual choice. My fruit is a good fit for Tony; the phoenix represents hope and miracles, doesn't it?"
This is also why the Ancient One never intervened; hope and miracles, no matter the circumstances, are qualities that can empower people.
No one dislikes hope and miracles, except for decay and darkness, and the Ancient One was clearly not one of them. She was happy to see such power emerge on Earth.
"Willy Wonka, you can come to Kamar-Taj sometime. The chocolate is great, but sometimes tea is nice too."
After saying that, Gu Yi left, just as quietly as she had come.
Willy Wonka calmly took out his phone and dialed Tony's number.
"Beauty's Pass is a hero's graveyard, Tony. Now is not the time to indulge in romance. Come with me to Asgard and get revenge."
Alex's Devil Fruit hasn't awakened, so he's no match for Hela. However, Tony's Bird-Bird Fruit has awakened, and the phoenix's power is exactly the opposite of Hela's, the goddess of death.
Before Tony could even say goodbye to Pepper, he was swallowed by a spatial rift. When the rift reopened, Tony was already back in Asgard.
"Something's wrong with Asgard."
Tony had barely stepped into Asgard when he noticed something amiss. Asgard, which had been hosting a grand banquet not long ago, was now almost deserted, especially since the spaceships that had been hovering in the airspace had all vanished.
"Who goes there!"
A squad of Asgardian soldiers in armor approached Willy Wonka and his companions, weapons in hand.
Willy Wonka's arrival immediately caught Odin's attention, and the one-eyed Asgardian god-king ordered his soldiers to retreat.
"Willy Wonka, it seems Tony is alright now. If you'd like to choose a location now, I can send someone to show you around Asgard."
"Odin, your treasure isn't as effective as you boasted, but Tony has actually benefited from this misfortune. Where are your three plastic kids?"
Odin's lips twitched, and he resisted the urge to punch Willy Wonka in the nose.
"There is a small rebel group within the borders of Asgard. My sons will lead the troops to deal with it. Let them have a fair chance to compete militarily."
The root of the chocolate fruit tree in Asgard stirred, and Willy Wonka reminded Odin that a part of his Asgard now also belonged to him.
The energy drawn from the root of the chocolate fruit isn't a big problem for Odin, but it's disgusting!
It's like a burr has appeared in your otherwise soft pajamas, constantly pricking you and reminding Odin that your clothes aren't clean.
Odin, however, was helpless in the face of this situation and could only be disgusted by it from time to time.
"Odin, what kind of small-scale rebellion would require the entire Asgardian army to be mobilized, even putting the Bifrost on high alert?"
"Could it be a rebellion by the Frost Giants? Asgard is truly a powerful and influential place; a rebellion of this scale can hardly be considered a small-scale one."
Willy Wonka didn't understand why he wanted to gain the upper hand verbally whenever he saw Odin, even though it didn't bring any benefit and only made him feel slightly better.
Seeing that Odin's face had darkened, Tony asked at the opportune moment:
"Willy Wonka, what is a Frost Giant?"
This was Tony's second time in Asgard, so he was a little more familiar with it, and he could now transform into a phoenix.
Willy Wonka has already started the group buy, so if he doesn't join now, he wouldn't be Tony.
"Tony, the relationship here is quite complicated. Let me make an analogy. Scotland launched a war of independence, and the King of England said that the Scottish army was a small rebel force."
Tony raised an eyebrow, giving Odin a rather surprised look, before answering Willy Wonka:
"Isn't the King of England just being stubborn? If Scotland wants independence, England has no choice but to use all its strength to suppress it!"
After saying that, Tony seemed to realize he had misspoke, and he added sheepishly:
"Odin, I'm not talking about you and Asgard, I'm talking about the King of England and England."
Odin discovered that Willy Wonka was even worse than the one he hated most, Tony Stark, whose words were as sweet as honey.
If Odin had known things would turn out this way, he would have preferred to fight Willy Wonka rather than even think about saving Tony.
"Willy Wonka, I'll have someone show you around Asgard now. Find a location quickly, and then open the store."
"As for Tony, don't let him come to Asgard again next time, otherwise I can't guarantee his safety."
Odin then used his power to mark Tony, making him an unwelcome person in Asgard. Whenever Tony sets foot in Asgard, he will be rejected by the Asgardians.
By the time Tony realized what was happening, he had already been "sent back" to Earth by Odin.
