Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory
Chapter 74 The Talking Cat
Randolph jumped onto Willy Wonka's shoulder and rubbed his head against Willy Wonka's chin like a real orange cat.
Its fur is glossy and smooth, like silk, clearly well cared for by Willy Wonka.
"Alright, alright, I'll take you out for something delicious tonight to make it up to you. I know you don't like Black people, and I won't let any Black people appear in front of you again. Don't worry, from now on, there won't be a single Black person among the staff at the Chocolate Factory."
Randolph purred happily upon hearing Willy Wonka's words. Then it meowed a few times against Willy Wonka's ear.
As a Flerken disguise, Randolph's current orange cat form is quite adorable, and he knows it, having learned from the internet how cats should act cute.
Randolph simply had no talent whatsoever. Despite his best efforts to produce the consonant sounds, he still managed to produce a hoarse voice.
Willy Wonka scratched Randolph's head and teased, "Randolph, I told you to watch less of those unreliable TV shows, but you wouldn't listen. Now you've developed a husky voice."
"Also, you can't dislike Black people just because they don't taste good. Remember, you can't eat people."
Randolph had already broken down Willy Wonka's defenses; he had stopped trying to speak in a low voice and scratch Willy Wonka's face with his claws.
It's trying to refute Willy Wonka; as a Flerken, it's unwilling to learn human lies. To Randolph, white people are simply tastier than black people, which is why it discriminates against them.
In the years since arriving on Earth, Randolph has lived in the countryside and encountered many petty thieves and even burglars. He dealt with all of them using the Flerken's methods.
Randolph improved the community's security in another way; in other words, before being taken away by Willy Wonka, Randolph single-handedly increased the property values of the entire community.
The entire community should thank Randolph; without him, how could the community possibly have a crime rate so much lower than the surrounding area?
Therefore, Randolph considered it to be quite authoritative on the issue of black and white tastes.
It's a real foodie!
Frank was an older white man, but for the first time, he didn't want white people to win against black people in this way. What did it mean that white people smelled more like spices, while black people smelled more like carbon monoxide?
Frank felt guilty just hearing those words, and he felt deep down that he should find a teacher for Randolph to guide him so that his values would be closer to those of humans.
Even the most despicable scum cannot be viewed from the perspective of food.
"Mr. Willy Wonka, should we find a teacher for Randolph? Some of his views are dangerous, and if they are accidentally leaked, they could cause us considerable trouble."
Randolph's intelligence far surpasses that of ordinary people. Upon hearing Frank's words, it immediately jumped from Willy Wonka's shoulder to Frank's. It placed its paws on Frank's neck and then stretched its neck, barking loudly.
It was even angrier at Frank's words; the old man was no good.
Frank immediately looked at Willy Wonka, because only Willy Wonka could understand Randolph's words.
Willy Wonka reached out and grabbed Randolph by the neck, lifting him off Frank's shoulder.
"Randolph told you not to meddle in other people's business. You haven't even done your own job properly, so watch yourself. If you dare to mention finding it a tutor again, it will be very unpleasant to you."
Frank looked at Randolph, who was being gripped by the back of the neck by Willy Wonka but was still howling, and thought that this Flerken had been pretending to be a cat for too long and had degenerated into this kind of code creature.
"Mr. Willy Wonka, I think Randolph still has something to say."
"Frank, I've translated the main points. As for the rest, Randolph's language was a bit vulgar."
Randolph, who was grumbling, was led to its food bowl by Willy Wonka, who added some milk and chocolate, which finally calmed Randolph down.
"To be able to endure such a long period of silence with a broken leg, you can be considered an elite."
The black man lying on the ground had his face contorted in pain, but he didn't make a sound. He just lay there, trying to get more information.
"What's your name? Who sent you? If you can tell me these things voluntarily, I'll give you a quick death."
The black man gritted his teeth and answered Willy Wonka, "You don't need to know my name, but the mission failure is my fault."
"When I accepted this mission, I was prepared to fail and die. It's just a pity that I can't avenge the chief."
Frank stomped on the black man's other leg, breaking it. The intense pain made him groan, but he quickly suppressed it; the black man was indeed a tough guy.
"Nick Fury? This Joker has a die-hard fan like you? I can't believe someone like you would be so devoted to a dead Nick Fury."
The cold sweat beading on the Black man's forehead betrayed his pain; both his legs were shattered, and the immense pain was unbearable. Even with special training, this kind of pain was difficult to endure.
"The S.H.I.E.L.D., led by Director Fury, is the last line of defense for the world. Without S.H.I.E.L.D., the world's security defenses would be riddled with holes, and all sorts of monsters and demons would appear, threatening the world's safety."
Frank almost laughed when he heard what the black man said. What this guy was saying was really high-sounding, putting S.H.I.E.L.D. on a moral high ground.
If someone unaware of the inside story heard these words, they would certainly be biased towards S.H.I.E.L.D. However, Frank knew S.H.I.E.L.D. quite well, and the disbandment of this department, which could almost be called the Serpent's Shield, was not something to be sympathized with.
Moreover, this black man was not honest; he almost revealed his identity and explained his motive as revenge for Nick Fury, which was simply ridiculous.
Frank took out his phone, opened a message he had just received, and then handed the phone to Willy Wonka.
"Mr. Leonard, you said you wanted revenge for former S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury, but why do your previous tax records show that you served in the military?"
"Could it be that S.H.I.E.L.D.'s reach has grown so far that it can now control commanders of the American military?"
The black man named Leonard remained silent, but he didn't get a chance to speak again.
Willy Wonka doesn't need any confessions; he acts more based on his whims, and sometimes his style is to rather kill the innocent than let the guilty go free.
The information on Frank's phone is the best evidence.
"Frank, get rid of this guy. Everyone at the Chocolate Plantation who had contact with Leonard after he joined, get rid of them. Make sure they get the full compensation."
Frank immediately bowed his head in agreement, only raising his head after Willy Wonka had left with Randolph, who was full and satisfied.
"Frank, I..."
Before Leonard could finish speaking, a long sword flashed past, interrupting him completely.
Not content with beheading Leonard, Frank, fearing Leonard might possess some special ability, pierced his heart with his longsword. Only after Leonard's body had completely cooled did Frank sheath his sword.
"Karl, find out for me why Air Force personnel are at Chocolate Plantation, and why they're acting as spies."
Frank immediately spoke to his son Carl, who was serving in the Army.
He then contacted Constantine, the North American head of the Totland Group's armed forces, whose next move required the cooperation of the group's internal armed forces.
"Constantine, send me two squads. I need to deal with an inside man."
Frank still informed Constantine, a high-ranking and powerful figure, of some information.
Upon hearing that someone had planted a spy in Uncle Willy Wonka's estate, Constantine immediately declared that two squads were not enough and insisted on coming in person.
Frank and Constantine argued for a long time before confirming that Constantine wouldn't be there, but all four squads would need to work together.
This troop strength was the bottom line for Constantine; he wouldn't feel at ease if the troop strength were any smaller.
Frank decided to get rid of all outsiders at the Chocolate Plantation. He escalated Willy Wonka's orders.
Apart from the family members who had followed Willy Wonka closely from the very beginning, everyone else had to be eliminated for safety reasons.
Even if Willy Wonka knew Frank's plans, he wouldn't care. Frank was his confidant, and dealing with some outsiders was no big deal for him.
Willy Wonka is going to find Tony now; he wants to check on the progress of the spaceships Stark Industries is building.
As a company determined to sell chocolate to every corner of the universe, Tottoland needs spaceships, but it needs cargo ships even more.
The world is now on the eve of a suppressed change, and the Tottoland Group's successive launches of products such as silky milk chocolate and liqueur-filled chocolates have already generated enough buzz for the world.
The appearance of Iron Man, along with news about the Hulk, occasional news about aliens, and sporadic news about superpowered individuals.
All of this indicates that the Earth is on the eve of a major change, and at this critical juncture, Willy Wonka is no longer concerned about the feelings of these governments.
Having dealt with powerful figures like the Ancient One and Odin, Willy Wonka has set his sights on something even more impressive.
He had always had an urge to announce Tottoland's journey into the universe in a grand spectacle.
"Randolph, if you were me, what would you do to mobilize global enthusiasm?"
Randolph stretched lazily in Willy Wonka's arms, finding them particularly comfortable. He wished this man would stop asking so many questions.
"Meow~ Meow meow meow~"
Randolph replied to Willy Wonka with a few words, but due to his racial limitations, he was unable to express himself well.
Randolph and Willy Wonka's communication is good at conveying short messages, but they struggle to understand complex information in a timely manner.
It can express emotions well, but it cannot quickly convey specific information.
So Randolph meowed for a long time, and Willy Wonka could only understand that what it was trying to say was: Since you sell chocolate, and your chocolate is so delicious, why don't you think of a solution from the perspective of chocolate?
Randolph and Willy Wonka shared the same idea, which strengthened Willy Wonka's resolve.
However, looking at the big orange cat nestled in his arms, Willy Wonka had an idea.
Because the Flerken cannot speak, communication between himself and Randolph is extremely complicated. If he could get Randolph to transform, then he would be able to communicate with him normally.
Once he had an idea, he took action. Willy Wonka happened to have a fruit that was perfect for the situation.
"Randolph, have a taste of this."
Willy Wonka produced a red, mushroom-shaped fruit in his hand and held it up to Randolph, intending to feed it to the giant orange.
"Meow~ Meow meow meow..."
Randolph: What is this? It doesn't look appetizing. I want chocolate, and it would be even better with a bowl of milk.
Willy Wonka rubbed Randolph's belly. He felt that Randolph's appetite had been increasing lately, and he was becoming more and more greedy and picky about food.
"You just finished eating; you can eat again tonight. Randolph, you need to lose weight, or you'll really turn into a big truck."
Randolph was puzzled, Randolph was confused, Randolph was furious!
It immediately opened its mouth and let out a low growl, the fur on its back standing on end.
Willy Wonka was clearly trying to feed himself food that didn't look appetizing, but now he's turning around and blaming him for eating too much.
How can this be allowed?
Randolph then opened his mouth wide, and several pink tentacles extended from it, directly enveloping Willy Wonka.
Randolph decided to teach Willy Wonka a lesson, or it wouldn't be a Flerken.
But this time, Randolph didn't feel the same way he usually did when he devoured other creatures. Even though Willy Wonka had disappeared, Randolph was certain that Willy Wonka wasn't inside his stomach.
"Willy Wonka, where are you?"
A languid female voice rang out, so unfamiliar that Randolph doubted himself. He spoke again in surprise, only to find that the voice was indeed coming from his own mouth.
It immediately understood the purpose of the red mushroom-like fruit that Willy Wonka wanted to feed it.
"When did you acquire spatial abilities?"
Randolph noticed Willy Wonka suddenly appear in his original spot. He sensed the spatial fluctuations and immediately realized that Willy Wonka had mastered the ability to manipulate space.
But isn't Willy Wonka a newly born dimensional daemon? He mastered that strange chocolate dimension, yet when they first met, Willy Wonka didn't show any talent for spatial powers.
"Randolph, you can speak now. The fruit I gave you is an extension of my abilities. You can communicate with me normally from now on."
Willy Wonka thinks it would be cool to have a talking orange cat!
