Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 81 On the Eve of the Operation

The Chocolate Factory is once again overcrowded. Everyone has gathered under Willy Wonka's will, and each person has gone through a lot of internal struggle before finally choosing to follow Willy Wonka all the way.

William stood out from the crowd, alone in a corner of the manor, his back to the people, as if he were feeling melancholy.

Even the champagne in his hand tasted bitter, making it difficult for William to drink. After receiving Willy Wonka's mission, William immediately followed the clues about his eldest son, Hahn, but the results were shocking.

The Charlotte family has reached its third generation in terms of age. However, their loyalty has actually diminished over time, and it has not become as eternal as a diamond as everyone initially thought.

This is actually in line with human nature; time is the most terrifying thing, capable of eroding everything.

William's investigation has shown that most of the younger generation now only regard Willy Wonka as an elder, and do not regard Willy Wonka as a faith like Frank and himself.

According to William, these people are all on the verge of betrayal. Although no one has taken direct action like Hahn for the time being, loyalty that is not absolute is absolute disloyalty.

William is now starting to doubt himself, because his investigation has revealed that this situation exists in every family, including Frank's descendants.

This is the root of William's self-doubt. If he hadn't been disloyal enough to Mr. Willy Wonka, how could he have raised a child like Hahn?

However, this leads to the conclusion that no one in the Charlotte family, including Frank, is truly loyal to Mr. Willy Wonka!

This is terrifying!

Isabella and George also arrived at the Chocolate Plantation. As someone who could be trusted, George was treated like one of their own at the Chocolate Plantation.

Isabella noticed William, who was away from the crowd, and brought George to his side. Given their seniority and age, Isabella was perfectly suited to keep William company and talk to him.

"Uncle William, let's have a drink. It's been so long since we've spent time alone together. I remember when I was a kid studying at the manor, you would sometimes take us kids home."

William also remembered that time, and he smiled slightly as he said to Isabella, "You were the naughtiest back then. Mr. Willy Wonka arranged for me to pick you little ones up and drop you off, but you always wanted to play hide-and-seek with me."

"The noisy little girl who used to hide in the corner wanting chocolate now has someone she loves and is getting married soon. Time flies."

William smiled and clinked glasses with Isabella and George. His thoughts were stirred by Isabella's words. At that time, old William was still alive, and he, as the eldest son, also served as the captain of the guard at the Chocolate Plantation.

"Uncle William, please don't be too sad. The past cannot be changed, and those who are alive need to look forward."

Isabella feared that William would be devastated by Hahn's death, and especially that he would resent Mr. Willy Wonka, leading to an even greater tragedy.

In William's eyes, Isabella was just a little girl, and little girls' thoughts are easy to guess. William was touched but also found it a little funny.

William hadn't realized that Isabella saw him as such a fragile person.

"Isabella, don't worry, I've weathered all kinds of storms, what you're worried about won't happen."

"It's just that your wedding might be affected and won't be able to proceed as planned. George, I hope you can understand that."

How could George not understand? After carefully analyzing the power of the Charlotte family, especially Willy Wonka's power, he was now full of confidence.

It was an honor for George Stacy to be involved in such a momentous event. The balance of power among the various factions was maintained because no single entity could completely control the situation, thus creating a system of checks and balances.

But now a force has emerged that can completely control the situation, and George himself is in that force. This is the greatest opportunity.

"Mr. William, I understand this perfectly. We fully support Mr. Willy Wonka's decision, and it is my honor to make concessions for Mr. Willy Wonka's great cause."

Isabella had no idea when George had become so eloquent; it seems the position of police chief really hones one's skills.

"Isabella, I'm not actually worried about Hahn. You're right, let bygones be bygones."

"What worries me now is that the younger generation doesn't recognize the Charlotte family enough. They seem to think of it as just an ordinary business alliance, like a company, and that they're just partners in making money in this new company."

"Of course, not everyone thinks this way, but quite a few people are already holding this view, which is a very bad sign."

"Isabella, we are all Mr. Willy Wonka's most devout followers, so why do our children develop such views after receiving such a careful education? Was our devotion all a lie? Is that why we raised our next generation to be like this?"

William said with some pain that he fully supported Mr. Willy Wonka's actions after conducting a thorough investigation.

Only those who have fought side by side can be considered comrades-in-arms. The entire Charlotte family must participate and pay the "blood tax" together. This is an opportunity to unite everyone.

More and more people arrived at the Chocolate Manor, and at least for the moment, no one hesitated.

Chocolate soldiers are an extension of Willy Wonka's abilities, and the extra work done during this period has resulted in the production of enough chocolate soldiers to give each of the core members of the Charlotte family around two hundred soldiers.

A spatial rift opened silently, and squads of fully armed chocolate soldiers emerged from the portal.

At this point, the Chocolate Plantation had become an extension of the Chocolate Factory; in other words, Willy Wonka had now dragged the entire Chocolate Plantation into his own dimension.

All conversations ceased, and as the tall chocolate soldier entered, the atmosphere became silent and somber, heavy with tension.

Willy Wonka was surrounded by people as he walked to the front of the stage, his Observation Haki instantly illuminating the entire audience. He overheard a jumble of private information, and many people broke out in a cold sweat with tension.

The situation was much better than Willy Wonka had anticipated. The core members were loyal and devoted to him, while other family members with ulterior motives seemed insignificant at this moment.

Willy Wonka firmly believed that these members would once again rally around him after this operation.

Willy Wonka's current task is to allocate troops; each chocolate soldier possesses combat power and deterrent force comparable to a main battle tank. This force is the core of the Charlotte Family's rapid control over the entire United States!
