Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 89 Hulk, Dad found you a sparring partner

Gwen's phone is currently switched off. With the Charlotte family mobilizing to seize the highest power in America, she is playing chess with Randolph at the Chocolate Plantation.

Isabella took her to the grand banquet before the operation, while leaving Gwen at the Chocolate Plantation.

It wasn't just Gwen; all the Charlotte family's minors who couldn't fight were at Chocolate Plantation, Willy Wonka's territory, where they were absolutely safe at this moment.

Willy Wonka has transformed the Chocolate Plantation into an intermediate state between reality and a chocolate factory.

In this state, the Chocolate Plantation is best suited as a safe house, protecting these little guys whose claws haven't fully grown yet. It not only protects Charlotte's family's reserve force but also eliminates worries for the members who are fighting outside.

"Gwen, you are really kind-hearted. Even though you're a bit silly, you're a good person."

Randolph gave Gwen a high evaluation because she was able to adjust her mood and play with a seemingly depressed kitten as soon as she arrived at the Chocolate Factory.

Gwen soon learned that the cat was Mr. Willy Wonka's pet, and that it was not an ordinary cat, but a highly intelligent being.

"Sister Randolph, do you know what's going on outside? My cell phone has lost signal since we entered the manor, and I haven't been able to contact Dad or Aunt Isabella."

Randolph gently picked up a chess piece with his claws and placed it on the chessboard with a click.

Its large eyes were filled with the joy of victory; it had won once again, having played nearly fifty games of Connect Four, all of which ended in crushing defeat for Gwen. That's why Randolph thought this human was kind but clumsy.

"Gwen, wait patiently, don't rush. I know Willy Wonka very well; he's cunning and shrewd, so he won't lose."

"And apart from that bald sorcerer, no one else on this earth can beat WillyWan. Not even Carol."

Randolph paused here, realizing he had almost forgotten the name Carol Danvers.

Carol is still on Earth, Randolph knows this perfectly well. When Carol returned to Earth from outer space, she was defeated by Willy Wonka and then handed over to the US military.

Gwen also knew the background; after George and Isabella moved into the same house, Isabella specifically explained the matter to the father and daughter.

"Sister Randolph, we must remind Mr. Willy Wonka that Carol will definitely be released. Apart from Mr. Willy Wonka, probably no one else is a match for Carol."

Randolph, however, remained unperturbed. He casually licked his paw. "Carol is no match for Willy Wonka. She lost before, so there's even less chance she can defeat Willy Wonka now."

"Sigh, looks like I'll be Willy Wonka's pet for a long time to come. But having countless chocolates to eat is pretty good too."

Randolph's conversation veered off-topic; perhaps he'd been pretending to be an orange cat for so long that even his attention had become as difficult to focus as a cat's.

Gwen wasn't worried about Willy Wonka, of course. She shared Randolph's opinion that even if Carol was released, it wouldn't make a difference.

Moreover, Carol had been imprisoned and experimented on by the U.S. military for so long. Gwen didn't believe that Carol had no resentment towards the military and could align herself with them in such a short time.

But she was very worried about Isabella, who was currently in New York with her father. New York is one of the major cities in the United States, and if the U.S. military and government wanted to retaliate, there was a very high chance that it would start in New York.

And Isabella is no match for Carroll, Gwen was certain.

"Sister Randolph, Mr. Willy Wonka isn't afraid, but what if Carol attacks others? They probably wouldn't be a match for him. If Mr. Willy Wonka isn't able to come to our aid in time, the consequences could be dire."

"Randolph, could you get in touch with Mr. Willy Wonka? You're sure you can, right?"

Randolph was persuaded by Gwen. He opened his mouth and spat out a piece of chocolate the size of a cell phone, then handed it to Gwen.

"Take a bite, and you'll be able to connect with Willy Wonka."

Gwen took the chocolate from Randolph's paw, ignoring the sticky residue on it, and took a small bite.

"Okay, now you can speak and Willy Wonka can hear you."

Randolph carefully took the remaining chocolate from Gwen's hand and put it back in his mouth.

As a Flerken, Randolph actually had 100 ways to prevent the chocolate from getting dirty. He did just that, putting the chocolate in a special spatial pocket. But the chocolate smelled so good that he couldn't resist taking another lick as he took it out.

This chocolate was made by Willy Wonka using leaves from the chocolate tree as its raw material, and it's a delicious treat for anyone. Especially noteworthy is the power it embodies—the very essence of chocolate.

"Mr. Willy Wonka, watch out for Carol. The army might desperately release Carol in an attempt to turn the tide."

After Gwen finished speaking, she felt that it was no different from what she had just said, so she looked at Randolph with some uncertainty.

"Don't worry, Willy Wonka has heard you. Check your phone now, do you have a signal? He's moved the manor a little bit towards the real universe."

Gwen turned on her phone, and a series of ringing sounds followed for a full two minutes before stopping.

The sheer number of missed calls and unread messages far exceeded Gwen's expectations. Peter and Harry, in particular, had called her over twenty times.

After sending each of them a message saying "I'm fine, I'll talk to you later," Gwen quickly called Isabella.

"Aunt Isabella, this is Gwen. How are things going on your end?"

"Gwen, don't worry, we're fine. Everything's going well, and New York is completely under George's and my control."

"Don't worry about Carol. Mr. Willy Wonka made preparations in advance, and Carol has people specifically assigned to handle her."

Gwen found it hard to believe; how did Isabella know she wanted to warn her about Carol?

"Gwen, it's good that you still care about us. Mr. Willy Wonka and we have a special way of contacting each other. He just emphasized Carol's situation to us, so you can rest assured."

"Perhaps you'll be able to go back to New York to continue your studies in a few days, Gwen. Just wait patiently at Mr. Willy Wonka's estate for a few more days."

Gwen was relieved and then called George, but hung up quickly; she couldn't disturb them at this time.

Willy Wonka certainly wouldn't forget Carol, and he prepared a suitable opponent for this vigilante who was famous throughout the universe.

"Hulk, how's your mastery of the Devil Fruit power coming along? Dad's picked out a suitable sparring partner for you."

The green hunk had an eager look on his face. Hulk hadn't fought in a long time and now he wanted a good fight.
