Chapter 14 New Spells (Part 2)

Gao De took the yellow paper from Yom and quickly glanced at the information on it.

The spell list contains five level 0 spells:

[Acid Splash] (Curse Magic, 0 Rings)

A small acid ball is launched at the target, with an initial maximum range of 25 feet (approximately 8.5 meters).

You must make a successful ranged contact attack to hit the target; the acid ball will cause strong acid damage.

The acid in the sourball will disappear after a few seconds.

[Enhance Resistance] (Protection System, 0 Rings)

Infuse mana into a target (which can be yourself) to increase the target's spell resistance, thereby reducing the spell damage and spell effects they receive. Each cast lasts for one minute.

【Blade Protection】(Protection system, 0 rings)

Reach out and draw a protective mark in the air to make yourself resistant to blunt force, piercing, and slashing damage from weapon attacks.

[Frozen Rays] (Pleistogenic System, 0 Rings)

Fires a cold, blue-white ray at the target as a ranged spell attack, with an initial maximum range of 25 feet.

If it hits, the target will suffer freezing damage and their speed will be reduced.

[Reading Magic] (Prophecy, 0 rings)

You can decipher magical text on items such as books, scrolls, and weapons that cannot be deciphered by other means. Such deciphering usually does not release the magic contained in these texts.

Furthermore, once this spell has been cast and a piece of magical text has been deciphered, the same text can be understood without having to resort to reading magic again.
